  1. Not a huge fan of the song, but I can dig a little RHCP here and there. But, bro. You gotta know your classics when they slap you in the face.
  2. LORD. KNOWS. But they've been saying that **** every year for what feels like the past decade.
  3. I would call a poll what it is: a snap shot in time. Unless you mean to suggest that at all times the support for Cassel was 3.61 percent, which I know to be false.
  4. I stopped following Let Me Google That For You links back in the 2005 when the joke first got old. I also think it's disingenuous to say there was "hardly any" support for Cassel. That's not how I recall it, at all. There was not overwhelming support for any of the three QB's. EJ was poralizing, Cassel was literally called "Meh" and Tyrod was unknown, but there were most certainly people who believed Meh was the best of the bad crop we perceived.
  5. Right, but just so we're all clear: The original posit was: Bills fans thought Cassel should be our quarterback. They were wrong. They should admit it. The response was: Overwhelming support for Cassel did NOT exist and therefore your posit is false. That response is the very definition of a strawman.
  6. Strawmen like: because nobody in July supported Cassel, then nobody supported Cassel, ever? Or are we--sans links--meant to trust Weo's research, that his assessment of the Cassel sentiment was true to reality? And distrust = strawmen? Which strawmen did you mean, specifically?
  7. Oh man. I was really hoping the Cassel Crowd would have heeded OP's call to stand up then immediately sit back down. But this is the Internet. We're dealing mostly in cowards here.
  8. They're some pretty snug pants.
  9. wtf is that studio setup? can we put some more space and elevation between guest and host, please?
  10. Lest we forget that Chan's offense helped set franchise records for: QB passing TD's, WR receptions TD's and highest number of WR TD's for a duo. And yet, as a team, with the playoffs on the line they could not beat an opponent with nothing to play for, an opponent so fraught with injuries its defense had no choice but to rely heavily on: Robey Rambo Bryant Butler Duke Williams AJ Tarpley ...and still won. Yeah, they're missing Rex, alright.
  11. Jets fans definitely didn't miss Rex when his team beat theirs, in their own stadium, on prime time, and then again to spoil their playoff chances.
  12. One of his best HALFS. HALF. All of that happened in HALF the game. The game was lost in the second HALF when none of that stuff happened. I'm aware that word is "halves."
  13. IMO, based on this analysis, he's already earned his next contract: https://twitter.com/SalSports/status/729735609263239172/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
  14. 79 catches on 148 targets for 1046 yds and 6 TD's: Stevie Johnson's 2012 season with The Bills (16 starts) 80 catches on 115 targets for 932 yds and 6 TD's: Stevie Johson's last two seasons in SD (23 starts) 125 catches on 248 targets for 2029 yds and 15 TD's: Watkins over the last two seasons (29 starts). The Bills packaged the Stevie pick along with two others in the trade-up for Watson. The Stevie pick was ultimately used on Ibraheim Campbell. The other two picks used to draft Sammy were subsequently used to draft Cameron Erving and Anthony Barr. I guess you could frame it as: Would you rather have Watson from 2014 and 15 -OR- Johnson from 2014 and 15, Ibraheim Campbell and either Anthony Barr or Cameron Ervin? I was never a Stevie fan so I'm good with the trade, but yeah, we could have used him in '14 and '15. For sure.
  15. Because WNY is being shut out from even having Uber as a resource.
  16. Uber is a company predicated upon insurance fraud. If you were to set the under/over at 70% for drivers who don't declare the commercial use of their vehicle to insurance companies to dodge the premiums, I'm taking the over and it's not even close.
  17. I'm not, not at all. But the cab industry is HEAVILY regulated, to the extent that competition with ride sharing companies isn't even possible.
  18. Uber is facing legislative battles in every pocket of the country led--mostly--by cab unions. And not unjustifiably so.
  19. That's not a cheeseburger, if that's what you were thinking.
  20. The "best" that "never was?" Meaning the best player that never really got there? From the last decade, gotta either be Spiller or McKelvin...
  21. There're a lot of impressive things going on in that picture.
