  1. the bills have a lousy qb
  2. What reports? This all sounds fabricated to satisfy at POV.
  3. Simple answer: lousy quarterbacks. They have chosen quarterbacks poorly and poorly allocated resources to acquire and/or develop one. There's really nothing else to see here.
  4. After Sunday, they absolutely belong in the 18-24 range.
  5. At this point, NASA might be his best option.
  6. I always liked CJ. But man. It was bizarre watching people so certain he'd ever have a season like 2012 again. A lot of us here knew his best days were behind him.
  7. So long as "something" doesn't have to be a catastrophic injury, but rather first game jitters and a tough time dealing with a coach/squad that knows him well, sure. I'll buy that "something" happened! I'm not with you on the Saban thing. I am, however, getting tired of Whaley teams that look great everywhere except on the field. On EJ, I came to grips with that lost cause in 2014, running adamantly opposed to the notion that it was all Marrone's fault, that he was "neutered" yadda yadda. Baloney. He was a bad QB. I said we'd grow to miss Marrone. Some got there faster than others. He was a micromanaging hardass, but his players stayed out of the training room and showed up on Sundays. I'm not sure when I expressed an "advantage" to having Rex. His defense certainly looked stout on Sunday, and it probably will again on Thursday up against Fitzmagic. We'll see how it handles the other 14 games, notably AZ and NE here in the first quarter, before I anoint him anything.
  8. Oh no. Let's not go perpetuating that myth. Trent was lousy after and before he got lit up by Adrian Wilson.
  9. Why am I being asked to justify an argument nobody ever made?
  10. I'll ask the ones who got suspended from the Steelers too. And also the ones from the Pats taking PED's. Enough with that crap, they're grown men, most of them millionaires. It's not Rex's job (or any HC's job, for that matter) to babysit them 24/7. That argument is specious, at best. And, no, I'm not ready to go with EJ. In fact, I think that since we were all so stunned by how poorly Tyrod played that he'll bounce back. But if he doesn't, if the tape on him is assuredly out and he can't overcome, then yes, he should be done. Hell, by that point the season might be so far out of hand that it might even be worth it to see what you have in Cardale. May be. But, yes. It absolutely was EJ's fault when he lost most of his starts. Are people seriously still making excuses for him? Finally, the penalties Sunday were by and large inconsequential or questionable. Every team gets penalized. Let's not pretend like penalties made the difference. I don't care how fair you want to be to Tyrod.
  11. I can't help but figure that the majority of people who looking for answers to the offense's woes that go beyond the quarterback's blatant incompetence Sunday are the same people who insisted injuries had nothing to do with Rex's defense taking a step back in 2015... Occam's Razor, folks.
  12. it's what hamstrung the season last year too.
  13. makes no difference if your qb find...well...anybody, really
  14. the one thing taylor does best, the one thing he did last year better than any other QB in the league was go deep. what was the one thing he didn't do yesterday? AND DON'T F'ING TELL ME IT WAS BECAUSE OF PLAY CALLING.
  15. Throw should have gone to Woods on the post.
  16. or, you know, as the tape clearly shows, we don't have a QB who can keep defenses honest...
  17. jesus tap dancing christ
  18. It was Mike Wallace.
  19. 2015's leading tackler, Corey Graham (uhf), had only ONE yesterday (yay)
