  1. Just sayin http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/189331-top-fivebottom-five/
  2. And it's utterly preposterous to assert that a 6'6" 300lb former first overall pick had to be put into precisely the right conditions to achieve even modest success in the NFL. In 2015 he finished 497th in tackles and tied for 68th in sacks, which means there could have been more than two guys on every NFL team, including his own, who had more sacks than he did. Coaching my ass.
  3. He's a weenie, sure. But nobody does what he does better. And since we're talking about math here, that's not an opinion. Also, I don't know what's motivating Levi's nerd rage turned-anti-538 bias. They're niche reporting. Not bible, but it represents a new wave of journalism, and the old dogs would love to have reporters/columnists with the data/stats acumen of the 538 crew. It's a very unique blend of skills for a world increasingly obsessed with data and clamoring to make sense of it. Why the hate? I think I can guess.
  4. ...who's almost always right.
  5. Are you posting from early 2008? If so, it's no biggie.
  6. 60-75? That's absurd. Sorry, IMO this is a wildly out of touch take from one of my favorite posters for the better part of a decade. It's doubly absurd when you consider the production we've seen already this year from the likes of Washington, Worthy and Douzable. Mario and Mario alone is responsible for his ruin. And if it's because he's older/slower? Fine. But that's still on him and nobody else. If Mario's qualifications are as narrow and conditional as you've portrayed them to be, then it is, was and always will be based on a limited skill. But we all know that's not the case. It's his horrible attitude. Nobody in Houston wept for his departure either, and he wasn't old and slow then.
  7. Mother !@#$ing Fitz always normalizes. Unfortunately, his peak was in four quarters in Buffalo, and his regression to the mean has been drawn out over the four games since.
  8. I'd rather not debate how bad they were and stick to what we do know: we straight up !@#$ing crushed them.
  9. Well, we've crushed the bad ones. I'm not sure what more evidence you need to deduce their caliber among the rest of the league.
  10. If you're Anthony Lynn how much of this playbook do you scrap in favor of your own heading in 2017? That's what I want to know.
  11. The Bills are ranked in the top five in the following stats: Offense Points (3) PPG (4) Turnovers Lost (3) Fumbles Lost (T-4) Rushing attempts (5) Rushing yards (1) Rushing TD's (2) Yards/Rushing Attempt (1) Rushing Yards/Game (1) 1st Downs from Rushing (2) PCT of Drives ending in a turnover (2) Longest pass (2) Defense Points per game (5) (three teams ranked ahead of BUF have only played five games) Takeaways (T-1) Fumbles REC (T-1) Passing TD's (1) PCT of Drives ending in Turnover (1) Sacks (2) Pct of pass attempts ending in sack (3) The Bills are ranked in the bottom five in the following stats: Offense Pass Completions (31) Pass Attempts (31) Passing Yards (31) Yards/Pass Attempt (28) Yards/completion (30) 1st Downs from Passing (32) Passing Yards/game (31) Penalty Yards (28) (more is worse) Fumbles (32) (more is worse) Defense Average time/drive (29)
  12. He's not playing the position that media professionals touted him for.
  13. I think it says more about the state of their OLINE when Gas Mask and Fat Albert are considered the saving graces.
  14. At some point Crayonz became lost in a self-created void between trolling and seriousness.
  15. In response to "they've assembled a pretty good line" it's totally relevant. They have not. Or, relative to last week and this thread in general, there is no evidence that they have. And the fact that they JUST ushered out a line that went through a 40% overhaul over the past week suggests there's no evidence that "they've assembled a pretty good line."
  16. That's immaterial, IMO. Billy Turner started 12 games last year. Dallas Thomas started all 16.
  17. They cut two starters less than a week ago.
  18. Pittsburgh is presently 30th in sacks. Buffalo is 2nd. Not sure this stat line will have any bearing on Sunday's game.
  19. Off to Miami Lots of fans dressed as orange chairs Let's GO BUFFALO
  20. Weeks 8-14 we face the following QB's: Brady Wilson Bye Dalton Bortles Carr Roethlisberger I'm not particularly scared of Wilson, I'm not sure he matches up well against a RR D. I'm certainly not scared of Dalton, unless Eifert returns to form, but even then. Bortles? Give me a break. Carr could go either way, and believe it or not, I'm not sure Big Ben matches up all that well either. QB's who like to hang in the pocket and drive it down field (Palmer) are a good matchup for our coverage/rush. If we find a way to split those six games, we should be in the playoffs. There, I said. They should get wins the next two weeks and that would put them at 8-5 with Miami, Cleveland and NYJ left to play. 10-5 heading to NYJ with the wild card on the line. It's just too perfect. The symmetry to last season scares the living **** out of me. Color rush loss at home then a week 17 match up...I mean...Jesus...
  21. Right. And Spiller is athletic enough to post another 1500 APY season. Not betting on it though. Let it go.
  22. I like Rob, he does great work. But I doubt this is the kind of "media" that gets to players/coaches.
