  1. Gruden and Billick were not great coaches.
  2. Now that we've ventured into philosophizing on pointless Internet memes: http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2011/10/what-is-the-point-of-a-6-hour-song/246666/
  3. Watching that video indicates to me that Fitz HAS gotten a lot better with his throwing mechanics. Those clips from 2010 were DREADFUL--talk about a laborious motion!
  4. It just seems like the hats built to look crisp (flat brim, etc) would make the rounding process painstaking. I can think of no greater test of my 12 year old patience than waiting to take that damn rubber band off and rock my newly perfected brim! You must have a lot of enemies between the ages of 10-25.
  5. It's fashionable to not bend brims. It started about a decade ago and has since caught on mainstream. But the flat brim is also part of the 'look at me I'm 40 going on 14' uniform, the 'it's no big whoop, I'm president of a tech start-up' fad. I don't mind the look, I just don't think I could pull it off. Bending brims was once a way of life, SUCH a big deal to any adolescent/pre-teen/teenage boy in the 90's. Not only is it a lost art, but a now-unappreciated one. Certainly doesn't mean one is prohibited from doing it, I just don't think hats these days are designed to compliment a perfectly rounded brim.
  6. Ugh, flat brim--so trendy right now, but I'd feel like a stooge trying to pull it off, even though it wouldn't be entirely age inappropriate. Those of you north of 40, you have no business wearing a flat brim. And I will NEVER understand the infatuation with the STANDING Buffalo. Passive, grazing bovine? No thanks. I'm all for nostalgia and throw backs, but the preference for a stationary logo baffles me.
  7. Yeah, that was my takeaway too.
  8. 7:08? So...the last 4:30 is just Hey Jude? EDIT: HA! I was only off by a about a minute... 210 seconds, apparently that's all you need!

  10. Also, holding the jersey conspicuously close to the camera tipped off that "something" technical was going on...
  11. Aren't you a little old to be hanging out at the Emporium?
  12. When I settled upon The Big Cat, it was--at first--a mighty struggle to not change my avatar. But, now I wouldn't even consider it...
  13. I "cherry picked" those games because there's evidence to suggest we're following that formula. I didn't just choose them at random...
  14. And one of my classmates set a desk on fire, on purpose. What was your point?
  15. And, of course, who can forget this gem: http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/reality-check-with-polly-curtis/2012/mar/08/kony-2012-what-s-the-story
  16. To answer the OP's question: yes. In fact, I need them, otherwise I'm lost. I also love this idea of sending of playing the guessing game, but in some way, I don't want to know. I prefer to picture y'all as I see fit: group shot.
  17. Yup. It's what happens when you raise an entire generation to believe they're delicate little snowflakes. Another unintended consequence of living in an insulated world: http://ideas.time.com/2012/02/10/why-american-kids-are-brats/
  18. Good for you. Good for your son. Shame on the school.
  19. Either way, I think we're dealing with some voodoo math here.
  20. One could easily make the case, though, that the adults were equally complicit.
