  1. Yup, he's about to get RAKED by Axelrod's minions, make no mistake. Is this an indictment on Obama's dirty politics, or the incompetency of the GOP opposition research? Or both?
  2. Looked better to you? Great. Good thing nobody cares what you think.
  3. Haha, you got me there. I do--in fact--hate cats. But, the moniker comes thanks to the long, flowy blonde mane that sat atop my dome during my senior year of college. I embraced the name bestowed upon me by my peers, and a las, The Big Cat was born. On a related note, a girl I know here in Chicago has my exact same initials (all three) AND she acquired the nick name "Big Cat" around the same time I did, which was about two years before we met...amma right?
  4. Well, show premiers tonight, and narry a peep on HBO Go...
  5. I use the "IP Board Theme" and it's plenty inconspicuous for me...
  6. Ah, see that now. Keep up the fine work, partner.
  7. Looks great to me (I tend to go with a non-Bills skin to be less obvious what I'm doing at work, though) One thing I'll mention (and I think I mentioned this last time)--I was always a fan of the red vs blue topics--i.e. when a topic reached x number of replies, it turned the icon red. It was an easy way to see--at a glance-0what topics are trending.

  9. You're right, Kerry was terrible. He was a boring, un-charismatic, aristocratic suit who ran on the "I'm not the other guy" platform without offering any of his own plans. On that we could not agree more. I'm curious how--by this definition--Willard isn't Kerry 2.0?
  10. You forgot one

  12. What can I say? Nobody paints The Big Cat into a corner! No no. Taro had it right.
  13. Amazing the things you learn when prejudice doesn't play a factor!
  14. Yeah, I shared one of these about a month ago, and as KD rightly pointed out, there's no getting around the bias of the questioning... Either way, I was set firmly in the Green Party/Libertarian Camp. And while I've always agreed with most of what the Green Party has to say (they had me "disrupting the status quo"), I always find their candidates to be borderline intolerable.
  15. Someone asked me once if I knew the difference between a civilian and a citizen. I know now. A citizen has the courage to make the safety of the human race their personal responsibility
  16. Oh man, I so wish SDS (a hem a hem)) would finally install the "like" or "vote up" function, I would have created another dozen login names just to show how much I enjoy this post!
  17. Point in case: Demetrius Bell. Karl Malone is. a. specimen. He also has a daughter who plays in the WNBA. I'll bet if Malone wanted, he could have put on an extra 30 lbs of muscle and been a dominant left tackle.

  19. Not to be a duck, but I've seen this video posted at least twice. BUT, looks like the same guy made a video for Spiller that I haven't seen here. Watching his 2010 highlights compared to his 2011 makes me more excited for 2012 than...well...a lot of things. If he makes half the improvement between years 2 and 3 that he made between years 1 and 2...WOW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVqDg1qoV7k
  20. Wow. What a dick. Know your audience, pal. May be he should drive down to the footlocker and berate some 14 year old kid dressed as a referee because Nike has unjust labor practices.
  21. I'm done proving how not-wrong each of those points are.
  22. Interesting: Thigpen still no. 2 Hairston still first at LT (not that surprising) Top Six receivers: Johnson Jones Easley Graham Nelson Hagan Carrington listed as a DT Kelsay second behind Mario Merriman second behind Anderson EDIT: sorry--http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart.html
  23. Then I'll summarize: Requiring an ID isn't unreasonable. -HOWEVER- Since that's never been the case before Since there are insurmountable barriers to achieving the newly-upped eligibility requirements Since it will prohibit already eligible voters from voting Since it's a solution for a problem that doesn't exist on a large enough scale to start lopping off voters Since (in their own words) it's a blatant ploy for the GOP to win an election by suppressing votes And since this now adds a monetary cost to voting (a voting tax) It's a ****ty solution, and one that should NOT be implemented.
