  1. I think it's making fun of Eli for being a real-life muppet.
  2. A buddy just sent this to me. It's good for at least four or five audible chuckles: http://www.buzzfeed.com/benrosen/all-32-nfl-quarterbacks-their-muppet-doppelgange
  3. It's a shame Wood fails the eyes test. /Billsrhody
  4. I'd rather Byrd be healthy for New England, since the Cleveland pass attack presents a limited threat...right?...gulp.
  5. If playoffs are inevitable and/or the result of a win in week 17 over the Jets, can we pleeeeeeeeease try and piggy-back on the idea somebody had to outfit all the Ralph attendees with baby dolls to be thrown onto the field at the end of regulation?
  6. Except your "evidence" has either been a.) roundly acknowledged by the OP or b.) is based on your own conflated and/or false perceptions. Let me put it another way: I have "evidence" that the bicycle I rode to work today is actually a flying Dolrean, like the one from Back to the Future Part 2. I don't care what you say, it's a flying Dolrean, like the one from Back to the Future Part 2. You cannot possibly say anything to convince me it's not a flying Dolrean, like the one from Back to the Future Part 2.
  7. And you can go ahead and THINK whatever you want. The purpose of this thread was to provide the evidence which disproves what you THINK. What you THINK is wrong. And until you provide evidence to the contrary, or any evidence, for that matter, you're just coming across as a whiner with an ax to grind.
  8. Alright, I've stood idly in this thread long enough. WHAT IS YOUR DEAL? Seriously. What is your agenda, lady?
  9. Is he any less intense in his route running or blocking? No? Okay, then who cares?
  10. I'll eat my shoe if Freddy is re-instated as feature back when he comes back from injury. And Spiller is much MUCH more than a "hair" faster than Freddie--he does things on the field that Freddy is simply incapable of doing, and I can't say the same about Freddy relative to CJ.
  11. A QB should be able to report in with the ref, and the time should just come off automatically. It's like forcing a pitcher to throw all four balls in a n intentional walk. When I played high school ball, the coach could just come out, and the ump would send the batter to first. Surely we could devise a football equivalent...
  12. And you're basing this on...?
  13. I'm going to take a page out of the off-season "this team hasn't done anything yet" book: NONE OF THOSE TEAMS HAVE BEAT US YET.
  14. There was actually a report before Gailey's first season about how history suggests he's a run-style coach...on phone, in car, otherwise I'd dig it up. Doekington, per usual, you're categorically wrong about everything.
  15. Gets me every time--love the car that goes nose-first into the fire hydrant.
  16. Yes. NFL stadiums have to compete with 5.1 surround, 1080i, running commentary, replays, an on-screen vantage point that trumps ANYTHING you would get at a stadium, toilets that are both clean and only 15 feet away, a comfy couch in a climate-control living room, WHATEVER food you want WHENEVER you want it, as much beer/liquor you can drink, as many drugs as you can take, as many cigarettes as you want to smoke, etc. etc. etc.
  17. I can't recall the last time Bills nation was clamoring for (adjustment x) then had the players and coaches directly address (adjustment x) to the media. Am I the only one who's really happy about this?
  18. Seems like the latter was at fault on Sunday: http://blogs.buffalonews.com/press-coverage/2012/09/bills-secondary-aims-to-be-tight-aggressive.html
  19. Arm tackles? Bad decisions? Were you watching the right Bills game? I watched it again last night, he was BRILLIANT.
  20. I haven't heard of this...do you have a link for further reading? I guess I don't understand--if that's the case--why the rest of the collar has to be a DIFFERENT color...
  21. Okay, you're right. I--like American--share your opinion.
  22. The only thing this article opinion piece proves posits is the disproportionate relationship between foreign policy success and security briefings. Thanks for bringing that to light.
  23. I mean, the outcry for the damn things is practically universal. There's NOBODY out there who likes them, and I have yet to find someone who DOESN'T have an opinion about them...WTF!?
