  1. We're 1-0 in the blue pants. Nothing but blue pants until we lose, I say.
  2. Well, since there's a consensus on the specific metrics and skills of no. 1 receivers, I think one need only consult the empiric data.
  3. There seems to be two types here. Types like the three of us (and others), who look for opportunities to praise, admire, cheer for and (generally speaking) like the players on the team we have opted to root for. Sometimes we over-stretch, granted, but only as far as board members on the opposite side of the spectrum, those who are looking for any excuse to berate, belittle, and abandon our guys. Since the decision is ours, and all the accompanying pride and agony self inflicted, those in the latter camp never cease to confound me.
  4. Hell of a season he's primed for. That was also Jauron and Co.
  5. Right, because the guy on the sideline/in the booth will make all the difference when Mario is neutralized 1 v 1.
  6. That is some serious horse ****.
  7. Right, but they keep their clientele (me) IN SPITE of their ineptitude. So again, I argue, the onus is on me. And if I wanted to cheer for a "competitor," wouldn't I take my business to another professional sports league, since it all goes to the same NFL pot anyways?
  8. As a consumer I am fully within my right to a.) take my business elsewhere or (since cheering for a football team is not a life-need) b.) stop caring/spending my time/money on football all together. If anything, I'm a wreckless consumer. But that's my choice and not the Bills' responsibility. That's an excellent point. For some reason, I thought Dalton was in on the first round QB run. You're completely correct that he was available there in the second. So let me rephrase: why the !@#$ didn't this band of retarded monkeys draft Dalton!? Seriously though, four-year starter, five losses during that entire time (I think), I was touting this guy for awhile heading into the 2011 draft...
  9. WRONG! WRONG! ALL WRONG! BIAS! BIAS! BIAS! http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/conscience-conservative/2012/oct/3/pre-debate-polls-obama-romney-dead-even-race/
  10. He's been wearing a giant cast on his hand through the first four games... It may not be a "sprained wrist" but it's something.
  11. Your post is spot on, with the exception of the bit about Gabbert. I don't think they would have drafted him in a MILLION years. The whole Gabbert-craze had my head spinning. He was nothing more than the white dude trumped up by the hapless media to fill the Luck void. I said as much then, and it has clearly come to fruition since. I think our guys were Ponder and Dalton, though I agree it would have been Cam, had he fallen to us. Ponder and Dalton just had Nixley written all over them.
  12. NO ****. I'm willing to be that the same folks footing the blame on Gailey and Nix (NIX!? WTF!?) are the same ones over in PP slamming the American "Entitlement" Agenda and all the suckers living off the government teet. Which is it? Are we accountable, or not. If a mult-million dollar athlete is given the ball and LITERALLY drops it, it's not his fault!?? WTF!??
  13. Ugh, this season has 2004 written all over it... 14. Look, the meltown was epic, but it was 23 minutes of a 60 minute game...
  15. Al Sharpton is still counting votes in Ohio.
  16. I found him, you guys!
  17. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the fact that we lost our starting LT because of deficiencies elsewhere (RT gets blown up, bodies aplenty undercut Cordy's legs). Hate that Chandler got his bell rung for the same reason. WE NEED TO STAY HEALTHY FOR HOPE TO SURVIVE.
  18. Yes, believe it or not, the legions of Bills fans don't fall lockstep with your opinion. Precisely.
  19. Take it one game at a time, but dwell on the ones that piss you off...makes sense. I'm not that down on the Bills right now. We hung with the Patriots* and had them right where we wanted them through 37 minutes of play. I'm not sure what happened after that, I'm really not. Just like in the Jets game, it wasn't one guy who let us down, it was EVERYONE. It was Fitz, Freddy, Mario, Kyle, EVERYONE played ****ty. I just don't know how that happens, and while it's happened twice in four games, I just have a hard time expecting that kind of performance from our players. And don't give me any crap about coaching. I banged the drum all during the Jauron-era and I'm not about to quit now: PLAYERS MAKE PLAYS. PLAYERS OVERCOME BAD COACHING IN THE MOMENT. IT WAS OUR PLAYERS WHO LOST THE GAME ON SUNDAY. And I have faith our players will bounce back.
  20. If the worst thing to happen this year is watching a team have one clunker followed up by two convincing wins, I can live with that. Every team....EVERY team is going to lose a game here and there. After the Jets debacle we learned from our mistakes, then beat up on two teams we should have beat up on. Then we made a whole slew of NEW mistakes, and my expectation is that we'll learn from them, too. You think the coaches aren't rewinding game tape over and over and over again, shaming $100 million Mario infront of his colleagues EVERY day? I'm certain they are. He knows what he has to do, Kyle Williams knows what he has to do, Marcel knows what he has to do, and Mark Anderson is Leodis McKelvin + 100 pounds, so you never know what you're getting there... In a perfect universe we'll err, learn, learn some more, may be err a little, but nevertheless be improving as the year goes on. **The best we can say for now is that we haven't made the same tactical error twice. Yes, adjustments have been subpar, but it's not like we're consistently weak in one area.
