  1. I'm not a billionaire...something should be done. Pray tell, amigo, WHAT should be done?
  2. I admit, I'm shocked at the optimism for Brooks. I don't share everyone's recollection of his preseason success...I seem to remember him getting smoked a time or two also...just me?
  3. EXACTLY What's done is done. Where were all the weather vanes when we extended the guy last season? Then and only then would criticisms be legit. Now it's just a bunch: look how smart I am, look how retarded they are hindsighted bull ****.
  4. Serious question: do you watch non-Bills games? And be honest.
  5. Do not count me among the Kool-Aid drinkers... I love Fitz as much as I love the winters here in Chicago. But until something better comes along, what the !@#$ am I, are you, is Chan, is Nix going to do about it?
  6. Well, since you know the outcomes, enjoy the next five weeks, check back in and we'll let you know how it went.
  7. You know, I understand that we can improve on Fitz's long ball, but when folks repeatedly cite Ben, Brady, Brees, Rodgers as the standard for which long-throws should be, I'm left wondering whether or not most folks here are privy to the level of mediocrity that plagues that VAST majority of starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Remember JP? He could throw the long-ball as well, or better than anyone, but he was lousy underneath. To say TJ could come in and start chucking it all around the field and THAT will make us better is wildly inaccurate, I think. And with how much certainty do we have that TJ can hit the guys down field? How is he on timing routes? What kind of chemistry would he have with our devil-may care, juke 'em till you get to the spot in space no. 1 receiver Stevie Johnson? How is he on the bubble screen throws we run ALL the time? Will he go up the seam to Chandler like Fitz can/does? We're 3-3. We lost a game to the Pats* because we surrendered 45 points in 23 minutes. Folks have been calling the Niners the class of the league for the last 18 months. We're tied for first in our division, and quite frankly, our offense is not nearly as bad as folks on this board make it out to be. I subscribe to rewind and rewatch games to see what it is I'm missing. I see drives that stall because of penalties, drops, sacks and stuffed runs just as often as bad Fitz passes. To press the reset button in hopes that TJ can wing one 15 yards is...well...dumb.
  8. Yes, we. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000081159/article/report-kevin-kolb-expected-to-miss-several-weeks?module=HP11_headline_stack Holy shnikees...
  9. And this is a solution because Tavaris Jackson ___________?
  10. He has been absolutely great on special teams, and he brings the fire that we need on this team. I've always thought he was a gamer--
  11. I said this last year'! That would be awesome...seriously...
  12. I've said it before, I'll say it again: For 25 straight weeks--from preseason through the playoffs--the NFL is nothing but truck commercials, beer ads, previews for cop shows and spots for tortilla chips and pizza. Then--all of a sudden--when the biggest game of the year rolls around, it's mother !@#$ing ladies' night. I just don't !@#$ing get it. Seriously, what band of over-thinking broads makes these ludicrous decisions??
  13. Okay, that's fine. Your solution...?
  14. Rivers and Fitz are not in any way shape or form analogous--and Fitz (see my post in the PFF thread) runs Gailey's offense (or at least the one Gailey designed for him) well. So, I'm not sure what you're basing any of this on...
  15. Cut Fitz immediatly--L@LZ This is the third year of Gailey's offense, and you guys haven't yet grasped the concept of getting the ball to players in space? It's not about picking up chunks of yardage through the air--IT NEVER HAS BEEN. Gailey designs his plays to get receivers/backs the ball in their hands with lots of room to run. Showing that the majority of Fitz's yards come AC shows success in Gailey's system... Oh, who am I kidding? Nevermind. Go back to thinking that Nix should have farted out an elite, *franchise* quarterback the moment Kelly retired. Lordy.
  16. Great points about home/away games. I heard a lot of folks saying the Patriots were a lock to beat the Hawks in Seattle last week, so many, in fact, that I was left wondering what universe I was living in... Well, my hunch served me right, and to echo the above: I am DAMN glad we don't have to go to their place.
  17. Last night, Rivers threw several passes that made me think: wow, when Bills fans see this kind of performance from Fitzpatrick, they're convinced we have the worst quarterback in the league.
  18. Uh, the North is WIIIIIIIIIIDE open. After the Ray Lewis injury, and with Suggs still slow to come back, there's absolutely no guarntee WHATSOEVER that the Ravens are a lock, as most here have purported. You can't count Cincy out and Pittsburgh is relatively weak this year.
  19. Only 5 sacks, but just off the top of my head, I can think of AT LEAST three times that the AZ QB was running for his life or flinging the ball at the full back's feet as he was being tossed to the ground--all of which resulted incompletes, not sacks. I'm sure after the STL performance, Kolb was coached quite a bit on just GETTING RID OF IT. And for that reason, we had less than 9 sacks.
  20. Not enough has been made of the 3 points Freddy spotted them with less than 3 minutes gone by. On TOP of that, not enough has been made of the SIXTY ONE YARD FIELD GOAL MADE. Folks, since the beginning of the league, there have been FIVE...FIVE made-field goals that were longer that 61 yards. Not enough has been made of the fact that this was a road win, two time zones away, after a west coast trip seven days prior. That Arizona crowd was LOUD, and we played right through it. Not enough has been made of the fact that Arizona, after an embarrassing loss in STL last Thursday, had 10 days to prepare for Buffalo and fix their mistakes. The questionable play-calls (and yes, they were questionable) were ALL hero/goat calls, and just our luck, they all went the way of the goat. This game was a few plays, and a SIXTY ONE YARD FIELD GOAL away from being a decisive win over a hot team at home. Instead, it was just a win. GO BILLS!
  21. And motorcycles don't have doors. But what does that have to do with anything?
  22. After we spotted them three points by coughing up the ball on the FIRST PLAY FROM SCRIMMAGE. After whats-his-face put one through from SIXTY ONE YARDS. Three points decided that game, and they were fortunate to get six.
  23. Barnett spent a lot of time in the backfield and recorded two sacks yesterday. Bradham played like a man with his hair on fire. When Byrd comes off the edge, **** gets LOCKED DOWN. Our like our chances, frankly.
  24. Find a $1 million car you can buy for $10. Available "first-rate" quarterbacks DO NOT EXIST.
