  1. This is something of a wtf moment...
  2. Well aint that some ****...
  3. No votes yet for any of the Phantasm movies? One, pretty good. Two, now we're pushing it. Three, never saw it. Four, eegads. Phantasm IV: Oblivion, one of the most confusing pieces of **** I've ever had the ironic pleasure of sitting through.
  4. I loved the reports that he was felt "overlooked" to direct the new Star Wars movie...
  5. Set thine knees to grovel! Except it wasn't a joke.
  6. Haha. That adds up. Love the profuse apologies!
  7. Surely this received a mention over the past 25 pages: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaVf6sxBSYk

  10. Jenna Haze? Bleh! Snaggle tooth!
  11. Love me some Veep.
  12. If you saw the last episode, I'm sure you had the same reaction as me: NO WAY SHE SLEEPS WITH THIS GUY. And when she did, and when the nudity was as explicit as it always is, I found myself wondering, okay, exactly what point is she trying to make here?
  13. Entourage was the world's most egregious offender of silo'd plots, but they didn't even bother to "tie it up" --to the extent that I just stopped watching. There were no less than two MAJOR, episode-spanning plot lines wherein episodes would end in cliffhangers, then be clumsily resolved during the following episode's breakfast scene. It's like they didn't even care, like they weren't even trying.
  14. Landry/Harris = Leonhard/Scott 2.0?
  15. As inspired by Pooj's Cougar Town post, I thought I would bare a bit of my soul and confess that I've stayed current with the series. I went back through a month's worth of posts to confirm this hasn't been hashed out yet, and for all I know it could have been talked about a great length during season 1. I bum my buddy's HBO Go and got caught up over the last two weeks. My feelings on the series are so ambiguous, and everyone I know who watches it says the same thing. I think it's weird, enjoyably twisted, realistic though hyperbolic, stressful and at times disturbing, but I don't think it's funny. I also think all the Lena Dunham nudity borders on preachy-with-an-axe-to-grind. And there's no way somebody who looks like her (at least her character) would get as much action as she does, particularly with the variety of men she's with. I reached my breaking point with this issue during the last episode. Ammirite, fellas?
  16. Does Kyle Moore belong in this conversation? Answer: yes. Three scenarios in order of likelihood: One cut, both cut neither cut.
  17. I've narrowed it to: Hakim Akbar Jace Sayler Kenyatta Jones Ben Kelly Greg Randall Kole Ayi Leonard Myers Maugaula Tuitele T.J. Turner J.R. Redmond Grey Ruegamer
  18. Credibility, meet window.
  19. From this story: According to restaurant owner "Doctor Jon" Basso, Alleman would visit the Heart Attack Grill on a daily basis, and often stood outside for hours trying to convince others to enter. "I told him if you keep eating like this, it's going to kill ya," Basso told the Las Vegas Sun. "He'd say, 'I just love your place, Jon.' He's the only person I know who was probably at the restaurant more than I."
  20. It was hard hit. But it was a fair hit. He hit FJax in the meat of his thigh just as FJax was turning to break another low tackle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01p8AgHTWWc
  21. without looking it up--aren't these the same guys who ranked Mallet ahead of Fitz and Thigpen ahead of Sanchez?
  22. This is a TBD PSA: Please do not link to an entire Twitter timeline. For those following the link hours after the fact, it's useless. Please right-click on the time-stamp, copy that URL, and past that as your link. It will take readers directly to the sited Tweet.
  23. And just so everyone knows, that friend was me (and three others). Sup, Suj?
  24. It's looking more likely that Mr. Levitre will get his 5/35 18...
