  1. That's fine, but I don't have any confirmation that is/was/ever has been the case. I have it fourth-hand (full disclosure: player to father to tennis pro to friend to me) that they team felt completely shackled by the coaching staff.
  2. You're right, I thought we drafted him in 2004. My mistake. Poor guy.
  3. This would have been his fourth regime change. Now, only Lindell has survived as many...
  4. And therein lies the optimism that things will come together. Not saying I disagree with you, but at this moment in time, it definitely requires a Leap of Faith (starring Steve Martin).
  5. I think Mr. Rosenberg is being pretty presumptive adding RGIII and Russel Wilson to the "frachise" list, but otherwise...no news here.
  6. Well, the Niners have no interest in Revis (reportedly: ) So: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkjD3D5FgmE
  7. Uh.... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/154960-new-eng-land/page__st__40#entry2709919 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtkdo7bOmJc
  8. I don't think this list eliminates room for optimism. However, one must be optimistic to forsee success with this roster, as is. I also think we'll have Byrd back, or at least Landry, or both. But, this was to give you an idea for where we are NOW because at OBD, FA'S--ours and otherwise--are being evaluated accordingly.
  9. I think this is a call best made after seeing what "wow" factors remain, and which ones don't, by the time the 8th pick rolls around.
  10. If having all these names in one place proves one thing it's that we can expect some activity in FA that WILL inform who we draft when. So yes, as is always the case, putting together "my" mock before FA begins is a pointless worthless waste of time. That said, I'm pretty sure we'll draft Barkely.
  11. From an inside source: mentality in the locker room was they weren't going anywhere with last year's coaches. Perhaps that will all change. After all, what is the talent deviation from team to team, really.
  12. With Barnett, McGee, Wilson and Kelsay gone, the Bills have now parted ways with former captains and chief contributors/defensive leaders from the past half-decade. I started this thread because as I look at where we are RIGHT NOW, it's tough to determine where leadership will come from. More importantly to the re-build, it's tough to determine what the Bills' identity will be--something that's alluded them since...2004, I guess? Right now the Bills have a whopping 21 defensive players under contract for next season. Take a look at who we got and let me know what you think, because I think it's going to be a tough year for this unit: Corner Backs (5) Ron Brooks Crezdon Butler Justin Rogers Aaron Williams Stephon Gilmore (though he's listed as a DB on bb.com) Defensive Backs (3) TJ Heath Mana Silva Da'Norris Searcy Defensive Ends (2) Mark Anderson Mario Williams Defensive Tackles (5) Alex Carrington Marcell Dareus Jay Ross Torell Troup Kyle Williams Linebackers (6) Kelvin Sheppard Nigel Bradham Greg Lloyd Arthur Moats Kirk Morrison Chris White
  13. It takes a big man to type those words on a message board.
  14. Great, another hole. (Devil) Props to the man for his service.
  15. No offense, man, and while it doesn't neccessarily need to be tops, like it is on this particular list, if you haven't seen an episode of Arrested Development you are virtually a non-contributor to a discussion about television comedies.
  16. Anything with Hayden Christiansen is a bona fide piece of ****. Few films can compare, though, to the colossal travesties that are: Life as a House (47%--this I find positively shocking) -or- Awake (24%--also seems high)
  17. Asian women, got it. I'll pen my Congressman.
  18. That's some bold speculation, but it's not completely unfounded. Agreed. LORD knows. Excellent point. Everyone should read Tim Graham's article about the Niners' 15 picks...sounds like they don't plan to use them all.
  19. Turbl. Just turbl.
  20. I sincerely hope that someday this rage translates to action translates to manslaughter translates to prison time. The word is full of idiots. Why single-out cyclists when we let women behind the wheel? For every dumbass-cyclist there are dozens of female drivers. Let's solve our problems big to small.
  21. Not sure this is really great news for Buffalo. Arizona would have been "better," since KC wasn't going to use the no. 1 overall on a QB.
  22. Ryan Mallet has completed 25% of his passes and is carrying a 1/1 completion/interception ratio. He has netted 8 yards. WTF?
  23. With NBC pushing its content to the Internet and to platforms popular with its shows' demos, I'd expect them to surge a bit now that Neilsen will measure broadband ratings.
  24. Will the unfounded Mallet infatuation NEVER end!?
  25. Ha, Mr. KO, in spite of his noble efforts, wrote nothing to reverse the impression that mine eyes spent two seasons imprinting into mine brain--though he did quite valiantly try.
