The Bills, historically, don't have a ticket-selling problem, either. I'll bet you if you were to analyze the wins/tickets sold ratio, the Bills would do pretty damn well. So, to say they need to take a quarterback, HC and OC just so they can sell tickets, when the Syracuse market isn't exactly a Bills market and visa versa, seems like a tremendous leap.

This has been my thinking all along. Marrone did a brief stint in the pros himself, coached at the professional level, was Drew Brees' OC on playoff teams, then coached Nassib for four years in college. If he knows enough to hitch his wagon to Nassib, then who are we to question his conviction?

Took the possibility of Jones being a Bills QB directly to the biggest Sooner fan I know (no, seriously, the guy is 6'7") (he's also from Tulsa and follows OU religiously, message boards and all): Oh, no. This is bad. Very bad. Unless the Bills are looking for an aspiring youth pastor who throws a beautiful 50-yard fade during warmups. (Hope he proves me wrong. He has a nice arm, but I think he's too immobile to do much in the pros.)

I think everyone dismissing this assumes that the Bills 'fear' is caused by the Jets taking Nassib at 9. In reality, I think it's totally reasonable for them to fear Nassib being taken by NYJ at 13 or 39.

I'm taking full credit for starting the TBD meme: Chris Brown is a frightened lemur. Seriously, I first said that **** like back in like 2008. Also, he absolutely knows more than the average bear. Whether or not this is gamesmanship, an attempt to throw our opponents off the scent or to double-secret-criss-cross-confuse them, that remains unseen.

Okay, I've seen this pop up a couple times today now: is it foregone speculation that Buddy is a "lame duck," is it wishful thinking or has this been reported on, and I just missed it?

The release of this news two days before the draft indicates it's all but guaranteed it won't happen. Right?
