  1. This is !@#$ing great. I love the Chapelle Show shout-out robot guy by Goodwin!!
  2. Probably the least of the city's worries right now.
  3. you're right. he fits right in at ESPN. everyone here knows the sound, compelling and informative reporting we can expect from them.
  4. Herm the germ is such a tool. I honestly can't stand that guy, and sometimes it's obvious the people in the studio can't either. If he knew what the !@#$ he was talking about, he'd have a job in the NFL. Instead, he rants and raves like a lunatic, rarely making a point, embarrassing himself on national TV.
  5. Nor is he kicking an oblong object with points at either end.
  6. Kelly LeBrock lookin...lookin...interesting. I've always thought she gets less and less attractive during Top Gun itself. Same difference.
  7. Wisdom generally becomes conventional for good reason.
  8. I've seen bigger. :-)
  9. Well, duh. You'd think the Photoshoppers could have done SOME research to determine those unis haven't been worn since 2010.
  10. Stranger: A Bills Kolb jersey? Or a Bills Kolb jersey now three-jerseys outdated? http://www.theonion.com/articles/some-kind-of-smartass-wearing-kevin-kolb-jersey,33471/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_campaign=LinkPreview:1:Default
  11. Ha, I showed her off when I posted a photo from our wedding a few months ago. :-) She is a very sweet girl. She's been in foster care since November, and we're the first people to call. Her real name is "Betsy" but I have a co-worker named Betsy (also a pit bull), so that'd be weird and "Betty" is my late grandmother's name, so we thought the change could work out.
  12. Last night, my wife and I made the decision to add Betty to our family. She's a 3 year-old, 50ish pound Lab/Pitt Bull. I know there are some real dog lovers here, so enjoy the photos below (no doubt I'll be taking/posting more when she officially comes 'home' in September). But I also thought you guys would appreciate the excerpt below from the adoption application. GO BILLS!
  13. They went ahead and fixed the glitch.
  14. 88 jerseys is a lot of jerseys for one guy to own.
  15. Sounds like Troupe also making a case for himself. I hope we draft in the 18-32 range in 2014. Aside from the obvious reasons, I'd like to see us pick up a stud guard. Sounds like we could use one.
  16. We both agree that it was time for both Chan and Fitz to go. But I don't agree that Stevie's production was in spite of either of them.
  17. But what happened after the wing-eating contest? Didn't he have like organ issues??
  18. I think you're smelling something else lingering. In this case, your own hot air.
  19. Well, I wasn't all that impressed by the 3 straight 1,000 seasons, until I realized that only Roddy White accomplished the same thing over the same span of time. But, I think that feat is that's mostly a testament to Stevie's his endurance and durability, two factors that ought not be overlooked, to be sure! But, this myth that it was an "ineffective" system, that's a bunch of bull. I know that around here you're a moron unless you subscribe to the theory that Fitz is/was King ****head, but he was the best quarterback we had in a decade. Period. And to say that Chan's system was ineffective when you're arguing in favor of Stevie's accomplishments is a direct contradiction. As Reddog has said over and over, it takes two to tang. The "Chan couldn't coach" argument belongs in Spiller conversations, not these. Stevie didn't get three straight 1,000 seasons IN SPITE of Chan, he got them BECAUSE of Chan: my original argument.
  20. I don't disagree. But comparing Stevie to a guy who is as likely to make the 53 as Stevie is NOT to make the 53 doesn't really prove anything.
  21. For discussion's sake, I won't outright refute your point. I think it's mostly valid. But I'd argue he's not the veteran leader of this team, not even of the offense. I believe that distinction belongs to Freddy. So, I maintain that those good-but-not-great stats--and don't play the homer card here, that's precisely what they are--those stats aren't indispensable in a system that looks to use the RB more frequently and that found 15 different receivers yesterday (that didn't include said featured back) and his "veteran" presence is equally non-indispensable...so...back to my original point about him being the right guy for the right system during the Chan Gailey years, I think I've presented a much stronger case for why he's not a lock. But let's back up for a second here: I'm not saying he should be cut or that he will be cut, I'm simply refuting the idea that he's bullet proof under the new administration. Plus, Marrone don't take no **** from nobody...that doesn't bode so well for the self-proclaimed Joker. (ducks)
  22. Yeah, then he pulled the same move, but by the time he decided to dump it off, the TE was 8 inches from the sideline...
