  1. Gotta go 2-1 to round out the third quarter. Get to 7-5 with WAS, PHI, DAL and NYJ left. So gotta get two out of NE, KC, HOU
  2. What happened? I missed the end! My television was stuck playing the SAME !@#$ING PATRIOTS GAME IT'S BEEN PLAYING FOR THE PAST FIFTEEN !@#$ING YEARS
  3. WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST TAKE THREE KNEES and take the points
  4. WHY DID THEY THROW THE BALL
  5. and nyg should NOT oblige they should take three knees
  6. because a lot of people right now are ignoring the fact that the Ravens are down to precisely zero offensive playmakers and look to history to justify predicting a six game run
  7. Help a brother out here. Too lazy to do the research. What's our roster of favorable outcomes today/tonight/tomorrow?
  8. It would be so sweet to finish as the five seed and get to play an AFC South team in the playoffs.
  9. I'm saying the decision isn't quite as bad when you can ACTUALLY make the throw.
  10. Well, yeah. That's the !@#$ing point. He's got a gunslinger's head but not the arm. Give him the arm, and lord knows what he's capable of.
  11. EJ with Fitz's brains/balls or Fitz with EJ's arm/body and you've got yourself a damn fine quarterback.
  12. It really chaps my ass that all offseason the only thing we heard about the Bills was "yeah but, who's the quarterback?" Now, following his decent start, nobody has looked at the Jets and said, "but if there's one thing we know, it's that Fitz's market ALWAYS normalizes." It's about to. They won't finish better than 9-7, and I think it's exceedingly likely they'll be 8-8, possibly 7-9.
  13. Good thing we closed the book on this defense after half a season!
  14. It'll take a performance of a lifetime from Fitz or some seriously costly (and/or fluky) turnovers/special teams plays for us to lose tonight. I'm not ruling either out.
  15. Come on, man. If they were mostly abysmal the stats/losses would bear that out. In one of the four losses, the offense gave the opposition 14 points. In other loss (NYG), the defense was stout just about the entire game. They have been very solid most of the year with a few terribly inopportune lapses, the gravity of which has fans (like you) believing they've been consistently bad. That's simply not true.
  16. What he said.
  17. Defensively: 2014 spoiled us. 2013 is recalled now with some seriously rosy hindsight. 2012 has been tucked away in the recesses of our collective consciousness, never to be spoken of again.
  18. Thurman hasn't done anything to lose his job. He hasn't been terrific, mind you. But he hasn't been TERRIBLE. I just don't think it's valuable to **** can the sixth DC in as many years for being middling.
  19. I watched the game. The defense was abysmal in spurts. But mostly stout. This has been the story all season. Not consistently stout. Not consistently abysmal. More stout than abysmal. Result: statically average across the board.
  20. What do you mean? She's so quirky!! OMG LOL YOLO
