  1. Gee, I don't know. May be the Kill-Rex-Now-Hoardes have to keep changing the reasons they're pissed because their reasons were always **** to begin with. Rex had neither safety nor linebacker this year. Sorry. Wait. No. I'm sorry, we can't deal with that reality. It's an excuse.
  2. No players took control of this team. Folks, this is the opposite of the inmates running the asylum. This entirely obliterates the argument that Rex can't control his players. You can't control men who aren't willing/able to control themselves. These are professional athletes. These are grown men. Spare me the babysitter excuse. They had an opportunity to seize their own fate, and they failed: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/22/the-bills-havent-had-any-players-only-meetings-this-season/
  3. I notice no one ever mentions week one when we criticize our coaches. Also, if you have to make things up to support your theory (in this case what happened in NY), then your theory is ****.
  4. *You're. Also, I'm glad to see we're still conflating the sack stat to make our point. We had even more sacks in 2013, and that defense was terribly suspect, in spite of what your rosy hindsight tells you. Also. YES. YES YES YES YES the reason players are making bonehead, undisciplined plays is because they're backups. Hello? Is it really that hard to put 2 and 2 together? See: Williams, Duke I disagree. What we see here from 94 doesn't qualify as effort. Comical or otherwise. Jesus. Cousins is at the 17 when 94 decides to stop playing. Get this piece of crap off our team. It's like playing 10 v 11 when his worthless ass is out there. Wait, nevermind. The scheme told him to stand up and stop playing once the QB was flushed out of the pocket. 94 is good, fire Rex.
  5. You can eat all the peanuts you want, doesn't change the fact that Tuesday always comes after Monday.
  6. Defensive starters missed 13 total games this year. We're up around 35 already this year. But no, it's "an excuse."
  7. 5 WRs was Gailey's issue. All I needed to hear.
  8. I don't care to quibble about Jauron. The larger context was what made it worth responding.
  9. Um. Okay. You think he elevated the talent of his team and got them to play better than they actually were, but aren't willing to concede that he was a good coach? Whatever, I don't care. I only bring it up to say that Bills fans have been historically unreliable when it comes to determining that a coach must go.
  10. Go ahead and pull the rosters from 2006-09. If you want to take a good long list of the players contributing to those teams, then turn around and tell me coaching would have made a difference, you have no business challenging any one on any football-related topic, ever.
  11. Jesus. Do you listen to yourself? The defense struggled in week 2 and has run hot and cold since then. It hasn't been un unfettered train wreck, and if you're going to assert that, you're plainly ignoring reality. It's been up and down. But why do you suppose that is? Hmmmm...may be the dropoff from Duke to Aaron Williams is as immeasurable as it appears on Sundays. May be losing Kyle Williams in the middle of the defense back in mid-October really stung. How about we actually establish some continuity? You lambaste continuity for continuity's sake, it hasn't even had a chance THIS YEAR. How do you justify ignoring how other franchises work through growing pains? You do realize the teams that have a habit of blowing it up when things go bad tend not to have any modicum of success, long term or otherwise? Yes? You do understand this?
  12. You know, I took a lot...A LOT...of flack here during the Jauron era for raising my hand and saying "you know, our players suck pretty badly." Everyone said Jauron was the problem. Is it time to reexamine that group think? We all sign off that JP and Trent had no business in the league, and our biggest FA signings of that era were TO, Kawika Mitchell and Marcus Stroud. How many years of hindsight to Bills fans need to understand that Jauron was not nearly as big of a problem as members of this board would have had you believe. How many until we say the same thing about Rex? Unlike Jauron and Gailey, he doesn't have coordinator issues outside of his expertise.
  13. All this talk about locker room malcontents, cancers and bad seeds...are we giving Shady a free pass? Too bad you didn't watch him play at all this year.
  14. He also doesn't pay $100M for documented divas.
  15. Why don't you take a second and imagine a world in which it's not the scheme preventing Mario from wrecking plays but Mario himself. This assumption that Rex is oblivious or woefully ignorant to Mario's ability to disrupt a play is--to put it lightly--a leap.
  16. Did you listen to Rex's postgame comments?
  17. Okay, sure. He has a talented roster. Something he didn't have while "crashing and burning." And we're just ignoring injuries to make our point. Sounds like you just want to blame the guy in charge. Let's blow it up. Doing so every 18 months is a proven method in the NFL. Do you mean to suggest Mario deserves no criticism?
  18. Think not. That was precisely the rub on him coming out of Houston...where he bitched about being used improperly in scheme. They certainly missed him in 2012. Yeah, Rex spent a more than a decade with two different organizations proving his value as a coach. But in 14 games in Buffalo, with a team ravaged by injuries, he just forgot how.
  19. OR HE NEEDS TO HIS !@#$ING JOB Just like and Spiller and Stevie Johnson before him, stop it with the mile long grocery list of things these players need to succeed. !@#$ THAT! DO YOUR !@#$ING JOB
  20. How is this question relevant? $100 million and he needs coaching to make him try? Okay.
  21. So you think Mario's doing a fine job. All I need to know.
  22. I'm not apologizing for anyone in this scenario. But the fact that you are defending Mario Williams after the crap effort he's given this season--which is abundantly obviously to anyone who watches this team and wants them to win--is just baffling. I won't and don't have to answer your (predictably) skewing question. He's sucked this year. Period. Flat out. He. Has. SUCKED.
  23. I've had Chennely on my Bills Media twitter list for a year because of scoops like these. He's very active in the Jim Webb presidential campaign. So it's been a lot of tweets about...that. But he's credible enough, and has been right enough about things in the past that I've suffered through all of...that.
  24. So your method here is to bludgeon me with terminology in hopes that I'll back down and admit...what, exactly? That Mario has done anything well this season? Well, he hasn't. And you can frame it as a coach issue all you like, but he pulled the exact same crap in Houston. You're free to sign up for the Pitchfork Brigade and demand a new coach every 13.5 weeks, that's fine. But don't lie to me and to yourself about the quality of play of well-known malcontent who has a history of throwing himself pity parties and shutting down when he doesn't get his way. How about no. How about the guy who makes something up that's contrary to every stat and every ranking seen or discussed here over the past year has the burden of proof.
