  1. Looks like we are making the same mistake on offense this year.
  2. Funny how the NFL is letting Elliott play week 1. I am sure an opening weekend prime time Sunday Night Football contest against the Giants did not factor in the decision in any way.
  3. Weird timing with all these releases with the final preseason game left to go. I assume the starters are going to see minimal to no time on the field so you would think you would want enough healthy bodies to make it through the game.
  4. Biggest issue to me has been the penalties. That was the 1st thing I was hoping to see a change with on this team. However, there has been no evidence to the contrary that we have gotten a handle on that yet. It has been the same issue year after year with different coaching staffs.
  5. How many slot wrs does this team really need? It wouldn't hurt to find someone with speed on the outside to keep defenses honest and fits Tyrod's game which is the deep ball.
  6. Yes if the offensive line can't buy the QB any time it won't matter who is playing WR. I am hoping there are some cuts from teams with strong offensive lines like the Cowboys we can look to bring in as the depth at that position is mediocre.
  7. The other thing I noticed was that they were keeping Tyrod in the pocket and forcing him to throw. Come regular season expect Dennison to have him on the move more to assist the passing game.
  8. Tyrod is Alex Smith 2.0 with better legs no point in making lateral moves.
  9. I think the Bills know what they have in Tyrod which is not a Franchise QB. They are setting their sights on a QB in the 2018 draft. Even if the guys we got back end up being slightly worse than Watkins and Darby the picks were worth it.
  10. If the Bills are not in contention come week 10 then the option is definitely on the table no point in holding onto to these guys if the playoffs are a long shot.
  11. I would still like to give Tyrod as many options as possible so there are no more questions regarding his long term viability as a starting QB. However, I wouldn't mind using cap space to find a RT worth a damn that could replace Mills. Safety depth is also concern there are a lot of question marks but I want to see them play in a preseason game first.
  12. The threat of the Bills leaving is something that can be used to get public money to put towards a new stadium. It is business tactic to create leverage so obviously Pegula is vague about it. He can't come out and say we aren't leaving regardless of what happens when the lease is up. Hopefully they work out a deal that is beneficial to both parties.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if Rex wasn't calling for both Lawson and Ragland. Maybe Whaley agreed or maybe he didn't but no doubt Rex had a big influence over that draft.
  14. More of a re-tooling vs rebuild. If it was a full on rebuild which I wasn't against if the team decided to go in that direction. Guys like Tyrod, McCoy, Kyle Williams would no longer be on the team. We wouldn't have spent money on FBs and a Kicker.
  15. Wow did not realize he was still in the league.
  16. Disappointed this thread is only at 15 pages by now.
  17. From Rodak's tweet it said among other players wonder who else is being brought in. Perfect time for some Vet bargains to provide some depth.
  18. Put Tyrod on that KC team and he puts up equal or better numbers than Alex Smith. KC's defense is very good and reason why they have been a perennial playoff contender. If you look at both their stats for the past 2 years they are practically the same. I see Tyrod and Alex Smith being equal in terms of what they offer a team. Put a strong running game and defense around them and you could win with both guys. Winning a Super Bowl with either of them whole different question.
  19. No way the players get any concessions on Weed as long as it is still illegal in the majority of the US. If one day it becomes legal then that is a different story. It would be a win for the Player's Association if they can get a reduction in terms of punishment but that is highly unlikely as well. There is going to be a lockout I have no doubts about it. Players felt they got the shaft with the last deal and won't cave as easily this time. We will see how far they are willing to take it though as the owners have the money to absorb a long holdout.
  20. However, they don't get 50%. They get a max percentage of 48.5%. In 2016 they received 47.2%. In the next collective bargaining agreement they would be dumb not to demand at least 50% of the revenues.
  21. Wow even managed to put in obscure ECW reference. Some of the best times I had growing up was going to the Bingo hall in Philly to watch some crazy stuff. Ruined wrestling for me when they went out of business.
  22. If we can start by not beating ourselves with dumb mistakes and penalties it will be a step in the right direction.
  23. Oh yeah me too remembered seeing a preview for that. Used to listen to that show religiously years ago.
  24. Four falls of Buffalo is also in NFL network at 8pm in case anyone missed it. Excellent documentary.
