  1. Taylor is not going to thrive in a ball control offense requiring 10-12 play drives. Teams didn’t fear our Wr core and it shows they played man and knew Taylor wouldn’ fit throws into tight windows.
  2. KC where they incorporated a lot of college spread principles is what I wished the Bills had run with Tyrod here. McCoy would have been our Kareem Hunt. We have a bunch of possession receivers with a QB who struggles to throw guys open. Smaller faster receivers who are able to get open in space is what fits Tyrod’s skill set. He looked much better throwing to Watkins, Woods, and company when they were actually on the field than our current WR group. Anytime we started to gain some chemistry another guy would go down.
  3. Beane was brought in after the draft. McDermott/Whaley worked this past draft. McDermott probably had final say on all draft choices last year.
  4. If Castillo gets shown the door as well won't be that upset about having to change offensive schemes again if rumor ends up being true.
  5. The issue is the entire offense as a whole regressed this season compared to the previous 2 season before that. Despite Taylor's limitations we scored a bunch of points and had a good red zone offense.
  6. If Chud is an offensive genius then I am all for getting rid of Dennison. https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2017/12/25/16817670/rob-chudzinski-mike-mccoy-other-ocs-may-be-interesting-for-teams-in-need-of-a-new-playcaller
  7. Will see what the excuses are when Taylor is not the QB. I think Dennison did not help his case this year with how conservative and unimaginative the offense was this year. However, he will probably end up getting a pass unless McDermott brings in Mike McCoy like he wanted to when he got hired.
  8. This offense lacks any creativity and needs to be perfect to move the ball down the field.
  9. I think Keenum follows Pat Shurmur if he gets a HC position.
  10. I rather take a shot on McCarron while drafting QB early.
  11. I am not giving up anything significant for Alex smith who is about a lateral move as there is. If he becomes a cap casualty then yes I would take a look. He would be perfect on a veteran team with a good defense like the Broncos. I wouldn’t mind going after the Cincy backup QB while drafting one early as well and then sorting it all out in training camp.
  12. He plays in a QB friendly system in KC. Taylor is a poor fit in the Dennison offense. No way Alex Smith puts up those numbers if he was the QB under center for the Bills this year.
  13. Zone read worked well against Jax last yr. Not sure why on 1st and goal you thow a low percentage play on that down.
  14. Woods missed 2-3 games almost every year while with the Bills as well. The whole WR core as a whole was always dinged up and sad thing is not much has changed now. Woods is a nice supporting player but not someone you overpay for.
  15. So heard from a friend of mine who lives in Pittsburgh that the rumor around town is that the Haley’s are some big time swingers. Christine Haley sending nude pics to other guys is nothing new.
  16. Seems like lawsuits and problems are nothing new for the Haleys. http://www.wpxi.com/news/local/todd-haleys-wife-talks-target-11-about-dog-sitter-/289069785
  17. I think what is clear is that Tyrod is not a fit in this offense. If Dennison stays Tyrod has to go. Tyrod is an athlete playing QB who looked decent in the Roman/Lynn offense when guys were healthy and on the field. The only way to sell that to a fan base that will get its first taste of the playoffs in 17 yrs is to either overpay for Cousins who I think is good not great. It is concerning when your own coach isn't singing your praises. Or draft a QB in the 1st and have him ready to go game 1 next year. Fans may be willing to stomach a losing season in the name of progress. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21942806/washington-redskins-coach-jay-gruden-offers-lukewarm-praise-qb-kirk-cousins I think it is pretty impressive we won 9 games despite a numbers of holes on both sides of the ball. I attribute that to the coaching staff. Both offensive and defensive lines need to be rebuilt. An athletic MLB who can cover and play the run is a huge need as well. If the right QB is available when we draft go get him but I would be hesitant to mortgage the future for any of the guys coming out this year.
  18. Not like any other QBs have had terrible games in the history of the NFL. 9/24 J. Flacco 8/18 28 yds 2 Ints 12/24 R. Wilson 14/21 93 yds 2 TDs
  19. Donated $17 keep the good vibes going.
  20. In the latest Peter King MMQB there is an interested nugget about Josh Allen. “I heard this from a veteran college scout, a man who was one of the first to trumpet Carson Wentz as a high first-rounder during his final season at North Dakota State, on the fate of the first pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and on what Cleveland GM John Dorsey might do: “I believe there is no way Cleveland, at number one, will pass on [Wyoming quarterback] Josh Allen. This is Wentz reincarnated. Allen’s a perfect Dorsey quarterback. Just watch.”” https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/01/01/buffalo-bills-playoffs-black-monday-jon-gruden-mmqb-peter-king
  21. It will be interesting to see how he does in the Senior Bowl.
  22. Would be nice to see some of those trick plays called by the Bills to manufacture offense.
  23. Taylor outplayed Cousins for 1 week. Terrible game against bad Giants D.
  24. Bills have shown in the past they will go conservative with a lead. That is on the coaches.
