  1. Not every situation is the same. I don't hear anyone saying this group of QBs is better than Wentz or Goff coming out of college.
  2. Everything in life is a crap shoot. I have no problem with the Bills meeting with Ivory seeing what his interest is, potential roles, contract #'s etc... For me he is a guy I can wait to sign until after the draft and I have a better idea what remaining holes need to be filled. If not I am sure there will be post June 1st cuts with other RBs available. We picked up both Jones and Cadet late who both did a decent job.
  3. That is where good scouting comes into play and hopefully the Bills have a staff in place to find those under the radar type guys.
  4. Grab an undrafted guy to compete. Re-sign Taiwan Jones or Cadet if healthy to the vet minimum. Again both lines need upgrading that should be the focus in addition to getting a QB. RBs are a dime a dozen and in the right system they can be productive. If Ivory is still unsigned by training camp and they want to bring him fine but that would not be my focus now. I would wait until after the draft and see how everything shakes out before signing anybody at that position.
  5. I would hate to spend more money at the RB or FB positions. Find me a Kamara or Hunt in the middle rounds of the draft instead. Get me an offensive lineman in FA since the transition is harder from college to the pros.
  6. Rather resign Deonte as our 4-5 wr instead.
  7. Unfortunately there is no way to know that. More likely Bradford ends on IR than start a playoff game for the Bills.
  8. If they are able to trade Tyrod I am not against getting McCown in a mentor role.
  9. Exactly you are going to be committing to another veteran QB for more than 1 yr. If the plan is to draft a QB early the expectation they are going to start sooner than later.
  10. Yes but we also got worse at run blocking as well which has nothing to do with Tyrod throwing or not throwing the ball. The o-line was never good at pass blocking to begin with and took a step back transitioning to a new run blocking scheme.
  11. It starts with the lines. LBs will look much better behind a dominant front which we are far from. I think we need 2 DTs and a DE opposite Hughes. Hughes hasn't been the same since Mario Williams left.
  12. We need at least 2 DTs. I would like a veteran to go with a rookie to help with the transition. If Kyle comes back I would like to see him in a reduced role mainly just rushing the passer.
  13. I would like to Bills to look at Bennie Logan from the Chiefs instead.
  14. Waiting to hear all about how Siemian is an upgrade over Tyrod.
  15. His 40 time slipped haha. For real it sucks when anyone loses their job and I don't know the reasons surrounding them. However justified or unjustified these things happen and hopefully he lands back on his feet.
  16. Teams overspend in FA. He is not going to get elite money but I think he will still get paid and to me those resources are better used elsewhere. If he is willing to take a team friendly deal to stay I would listen but I wouldn't be upset if he leaves. The front 7 on defense and offensive line both need to be retooled this year in addition to finding a QB.
  17. Brown is replaceable in my opinion. He is a complimentary piece and to me those are not guys you spend big bucks on.
  18. Jackson requires a specific type of offense to succeed in. If the Bills are committed to incorporating one that maximizes his talent you might as well keep Tyrod for another year while he transitions to the NFL.
  19. I wouldn't touch him before the 2nd if we miss out on our Targets. You might as well keep Tyrod at that point since they are similar players on the condition Daboll is planning to incorporate a college spread type offense.
  20. One guy will make 18 million if kept past March deadline. The other is on a rookie contract. It has nothing to do with the player but the money. It has nothing to do with who is the better QB at this point.
  21. For some people on this board any QB not named Tyrod would be better regardless of how good or bad they are. No point in arguing it won't matter.
  22. I hope we move away from needing a FB in the offense. Waste of spot in my opinion and we are paying DiMarco money for like what 20-30% of the offensive snaps.
  23. Agreed I wouldn't put it past the Pats to circumvent the salary cap. They look for every advantage possible. How any agent would let his client take a below market deal is beyond suspicious.
  24. As long as it isn’t the Bills that is fine by me either way.
  25. He is going to want to be paid as a top 5 corner. Why would he settle for anything else. Unfortunately, for him the Patriots don’t see him as one of the top CBs and they proved it by paying for Gilmore this offseason. So he is going to need to take a 1 yr deal or take a below market long term deal which no agent would agree to.
