  1. Well now we have been linked to all 4 of the top QBs in this draft. No one knows who the Bills really covet.
  2. Buy the QB enough time guys will get open. DBs can't cover forever.
  3. Fix the O-line first I rather see Brandon Reilly or some undrafted guy play before I worry about having to fix the receiving core. It won't matter much who is at WR if the pass blocking is poor and the QB is getting killed.
  4. Agreed this is news worthy and don't see any issue with it being in a new thread. There is plenty to complain for some of the other threads that get started on topics that have been discussed ad nauseam already.
  5. I wouldn't think the Bills pull a Jet's like move and move up prior to draft day so get your paper bag ready.
  6. McDermott/Beane have clearly demonstrated if you are not buying into the process they are going to ship you out regardless of how talented you are.
  7. Agree if they are unable to trade up for a QB or one doesn't fall to them. Not getting either Tremaine Edmunds or Roquan Smith would just be a dumb move.
  8. I don't know Browns have so many picks as it is this year. I am sure they would need at a minimum our # 1 next year to even consider dropping outside the Top# 10.
  9. They have been linked to every QB except Mayfield at this point.
  10. Waiting for but what about the Comp picks group to show up
  11. I don't see the Giants taking a QB regardless of what happens with Cleveland at #1. I don't think any of the guys coming out are sure fire Franchise QBs. Giants have Davis Webb on their roster who offers some upside as their developmental guy. I think the Giants want to trade down and load up on players to make one last run with Eli. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/giants-remain-intrigued-david-webb-nfl-draft-approaches-article-1.3847368
  12. Don’t think the Browns will go with either Rosen or Mayfield. It is most likely Darnold with Allen being the wild card. There was a report which mentioned Dorsey said something about steering clear of Rosen and I believe this was prior to him getting the GM job with Cleveland. Plus with Rosen’s preference to not play in Cleveland leads me to believe he won’t be their guy. https://dawgpounddaily.com/2017/12/26/cleveland-browns-dorsey-rosen-fan/ http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2018/01/john_dorsey_says_report_he_sai.html
  13. They could but Hughes's contract is manageable. They get a proven pass rusher and a number of additional picks to help fill other positions as well. Seems like a Win Win for both teams.
  14. Colts looks like they are switching back to a 4-3 this year. http://www.colts.com/news/article-1/Matt-Eberflus-Discusses-Colts’-Transition-To-4-3-Base-Defense/84bf9df7-ada0-49c2-88d1-f26f60c10cd8
  15. Seeing how the Colts need a DE wouldn't be surprised to see Beane offer up Hughes in addition to picks to move up to # 3.
  16. I hope we make significant upgrades along the offensive line. It doesn't look like that is going to happen in FA. Hopefully they address this during the draft. If we enter training camp with what we currently have we are doing no favors to the QB who ends up starting.
  17. Teams with open QB positions are drying up. I would offer 1 yr deals to both McCarron or McCown telling them they would have a chance to win the starting job in training camp. McCarron gets a shot to set himself up for a big pay day if he plays well either from the Bills or another team. This allows us to not rush a rookie QB out on the field too soon.
  18. Draft is deep at DT rather go that route. Rather sign someone for the offensive line instead.
  19. Not disappointed with Bradford going to AZ.
  20. Will wait to see what the contract numbers look like but i think we still need another DT to split time with Kyle if he returns next year. Would love to see Kyle just on passing downs get after the QB.
  21. No issue with the trade great move by Beane.
  22. How hilarious would that be if the Bills don't draft a QB in the top# 5 after all this and take Lamar Jackson at #22. Would this board burn down?
  23. I don't mind rumors as crazy as they may be. That is the fun part of the off season with everyone speculating. If anyone does not like it they don't have to read the thread. How else am I going to find out where the Pegula plane goes to next.
  24. It could also mean that McDermott prefers having a veteran QB as a backup. If they end up signing another FA QB and drafting a rookie could signal the end of Peterman on the active roster at least.
  25. Any more than 3 yrs and I would not be in favor of this move. I am fine with a rookie qb sitting 1-2 yrs behind Keenum. I think pairing with Keenum with a Raw QB like Allen makes sense.
