    I don't have confidence with the talent surrounding Allen to begin with and I think it will be detrimental to his development if he sees the field this year. I am hoping the Bills redshirt him this year and bring him along slowly while they attempt to rebuild this offense.

    I am totally for rookies coming in early and getting settled in before the Vets show up. Not having actual practices but putting extra time in the classroom and going through walk throughs to learn the playbook.

    Looks like they also photo shopped his helmet to cover up the Bills logo. Probably didn't want to get a letter from the NFL regarding licensing/copyright issues.

    There were also rumblings about certain guys not buying into the process and being team first guys. I think McDermott made examples of those players by shipping them out of here.

    Gave them a D as well think they will be solid but not great in the run game and below average in pass blocking.

    My Bill's jersey collection is pretty bad. All Ex Bills who I was excited for and ultimately ended up being disappointments. Fitzpatrick, Stevie Johnson, Kiko Alonso, EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor, and Dareus. I am going to hold off on that Josh Allen jersey for a while.

    If we can stop the run consistently this year then I believe the D will take a major step forward.

    Curious if some of the insensitive comments he made as a kid is making him a target among some of the players in the league. It doesn't appear there is any connection between Allen and either player except Adam plays in the same division.

    The lack of talent on both the O-line and WR groups make me hesitant to throw out Allen there on opening day. He would have to be heads and shoulders over the other 2 for me to even consider it if I was McDermott. Nothing worse you can do to a rookie to stunt his development that have him try to play with a weak team around him and try to carry the team on his shoulders.

    Selfishly I would like to see the Bills but understand why they do not want to participate. I do agree the Browns would make the best choice out of the teams listed.

    Well of course there is a reason to lie they don't want to make the kid look bad in public. Beane/McDermott look to avoid controversy and keep things as vanilla as possible. So it is not a surprise. Bills got their guy no reason to even discuss the other QBs at this point in their eyes.

    Patriots could have wanted to get this out there to force the Bills/Jets to move to #2 and give up a bunch of picks in the process if they wanted Mayfield.

    This gives me all the more reason to like the Allen pick now. Was not interested in Rudolph especially at 22. Would have preferred Mike White or Lauletta over him.

    Would have rather stayed at 12 and drafted whoever was left between Rosen/Allen. Didn’t have an issue with them trading up for Edmunds but having both 2s tmrw we could have addressed a couple more positions.

    You can get some decent WRs in the 2nd-3rd rd. Trade back and take an OT or C. Recoup some of the draft picks we gave up.
