  1. I have never been a big brandin cooks guy. Brown would be a nice complement with Woods and Cooper. Draft a TE and that offense is scary. I am not sold on Goff but think you could win with him.
  2. I am talking about a team that is close and believe they have the right QB and roster around them to compete. Teams like KC, St. Louis, etc.. fit this category. A team where adding Brown could potentially push you over the top in trying to take down the Pats. Too many unknowns in Buffalo to be taking that risk.
  3. Agree they would be stupid to trade him in conference.
  4. If Brown made the Bills a championship contender next year you would have to consider your options. However, I don't see the Bills being there with or without Brown. So for me stick to your rebuild plans and not be tempted by the quick fix answer which will most likely disappoint.
  5. We were losing regardless as it is never about 1 player. Everyone needs to be about the team winning rest of it doesn't matter in the end. Benjamin was cut last year mid season not sure what point you are trying to make. Front office has cut dead weight and people not making a contribution to the team. They are not afraid of moving on from the mistakes they have made.
  6. I guess telling the media he needs 10 targets a game is not being selfish. Watkins to his credit acknowledged this mistake. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2749319-sammy-watkins-dropped-the-diva-attitude-and-got-his-career-back-on-track-in-la "I was more of a statistics guy then," he says. "That's what I was chasing. That's what I thought the league was about. I had to learn because when you're losing, things tend to creep into your mind: I should be getting the ball more. If I do get the ball more, we'd be winning. But half the times I did have two touchdowns and 170 yards, we're losing. "I found out that, hey, the fun is in the winning."
  7. Blount is another player. Exactly my point the Pats can afford to get burned by these types of players since they keep winning regardless. The Bills can not afford to miss on someone like this. All these me first type players were shown the door by McDermott/Beane as part of their purge from Dareus to Watkins so doubt they want to bring another one in.
  8. McCoy is on his way out. I rather spend the money/draft capital on shoring up the O-line. We would be giving up both to get a player like Brown. Like I said previously he would want a new deal before he even steps foot in Buffalo similar to McCoy. Brown is best suited to go to a veteran team like the Patriots who have a history of dealing with guys like this. Players either get in line with everyone else or they are dumped. The Pats can afford to take a risk like this. I don't think the Bills can.
  9. Winning championships does not appear to be what is most important to Brown. He has zero rings to show for all his greatness so far in his career. For a young QB who is coming into his own, I wouldn't bring anyone who could derail Josh's development. Josh is the leader of the offense moving forward and I rather not have him have to deal with someone who is more worried about his numbers than winning.
  10. After saying it wasn't about the money now comes out that he does want new team guaranteed money. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/02/19/antonio-brown-makes-it-clear-he-wants-new-team-guaranteed-money/
  11. He would probably want to restructure and get more money. Not worth the potential headache. I see no way he plays in Buffalo under the original terms of his contract.
  12. None of these WRs impress me. Out of the list provided I like Adam Humphries and Golden Tate if we are handing out multi year deals. If Donte Montcrief wants to take another 1 yr prove it deal wouldn’t mind going that route either.
  13. At this point I would agree. Darnold turned it on late but had struggled alot up to that point. For Allen to be in the same ballpark is more impressive as he was expected to be behind the other QBs and was extremely raw coming out of college.
  14. He could retire from the NFL and switch over to Baseball at any point unless there is some language added to his contract but not sure how that would work. Obviously would have to pay back some bonus money but I am glad the Bills are not in the market for a QB this year.
  15. Also depends who is playing next to him. If you have a pro bowl T or C next to him how bad would he look. I will leave it to the OL coach to put these guys in the best spots for the team. If you can find upgrade at LT, I have no problem moving Dawkins somewhere else. If not and he is the best option then let him continue to play LT.
  16. I could see a team like Miami drafting him. Curious to see how he does in the pros and I have my doubts. I think any team taking him in the 1st round would be making a mistake. The threat of him leaving to play baseball would always be hovering over team.
  17. It can't get any worse. I am all for lining up the best 5 regardless of where they played last year.
  18. I am indifferent either way if he signs or not. A decent role player who can be replaced.
  19. TB12 seems like a fake made up company to me. Wouldn’t be surprised if Kraft was paying Brady in some other form to circumvent the salary cap. However, I blame the NFL for allowing these types of business dealings to even take place to begin with. https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/12/19/patriots-pay-business-owned-tom-brady-and-partner-with-dubious-past/C4zMzcPDgU62WMMg10qeBL/story.html
  20. Overrated by many here. Dude is a number #4-5 WR. No interest in bringing him back if he is a FA.
  21. Haha yep seems about right.
  22. Kraft and Brady are extremely close. I doubt if Belicheck truly wanted to move on that Kraft would allow for it to happen. At this point doesn't matter much because they still win regardless. Brady is the starting QB until he is ready to hang up his cleats or gets injured.
  23. No one will ever know truly what happened behind the scenes but there was there were definite issues within that group. I truly believe Belicheck would have kept Garrapolo and moved on from Brady which is something he has been known to do with his star players in the past. Move on from them before they start to trend downward. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/49ers/report-patriots-owner-kraft-forced-belichick-trade-garoppolo http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/hotread180105/beginning-end-new-england-patriots-robert-kraft-tom-brady-bill-belichick-internal-power-struggle
  24. Kraft is going to let Brady play for however long he wants to. Belicheck was ready to hand the reigns over to Garoppolo but got overruled and was then forced into trading him.
  25. Watch him play till 50. The thought of being home constantly with giselle bossing him around pushes him to keep going.
