I don't think this is the type of player the Bills can afford to take a risk one. They need as close to a sure thing that is possible.

Metcalf scares me and I wouldn't draft him early. Lack of production and feel like he is an injury waiting to happen. I think there will be a number of WRs to choose in the 2nd. Would love to trade back some and pick up extra 2nd rounder if possible. Then grab a C and WR with both picks.

Hyde is visiting KC and looks like he may sign there.

For the Bills to actually become relevant Josh has to prove he is a franchise QB and the team needs to start winning. Players will be more inclined to join the Bills once that is done and the money is there.

Sign multiple younger players going into their 2nd contract. There are more than enough holes that need to be filled. Can this organization identify those players like Hyde, Poyer, etc...

Allen is the unquestioned leader moving forward. Sorry but no thanks to a locker room headache the moment he doesn’t get his targets. Give me a young core of guys who are going to grow along with Allen. If Allen turns out to be the answer then make your moves while contending for a championship when he hits his prime.

Mcnabb was entering his prime going into his 6th year. What was the Eagles record leading up to those years. 1st in the NFC east for the 3 years prior to that losing in the conference championship each year. I am talking about championships and not being a one and done playoff team. Seems more like a Russ Brandon special that being about the process McDermott preaches. I guess we will see who ends up being right if deal goes down.

Bills not ready to compete. I rather build up young core around Allen. Now you got Allen having to deal with a WR who is a headcase. It puts undue pressure on your franchise QB. I think the Bills end up regretting this move if it goes through and that is not knowing what the compensation will be and the contract they need to give for him to even show up in Buffalo.

Woke up to see this thread hopefully deal blows up. I can not state how much I dislike this deal from Buffalo’s perspective.

He will want to be the highest paid WR. If Allen develops the way we hope Brown will be on the tail end of his career. As great a WR he is just not the right fit on this team at this time.

ESPN/ABC will be broadcasting a few hours this year. Believe it is only on Saturday which will include the QBs/WRs working out. You may also want to look into streaming packages like Fubo and Sling tv where you can sign up for a trial and then cancel afterwards as well.

Definitely slimmer but still has that Dad body. Those loose fitting shirts makes it easier to hide.

I don't believe signing James would prevent the Bills from drafting Hockenson if they have him graded high. The teams need at least 2 more TEs.

These are the type of FAs I believe the Bills will go after. Younger guys who are going into their 2nd contract with upside. Guys they won't break the bank for but valuable role type players.

Competing for a Super Bowl. Not backing into the playoffs 1 year. I think Pegula will be patient with this front office and coaching staff. One thing they have demonstrated so far is lack of dysfunction. They have a plan and they are seeing it through. Mistakes have been made but every team makes them. Everyone will get to see if they are successful or not and a lot is riding on Allen being that guy.

Because I don't see the Bills competing for another 2 yrs at least. What player in Brown will you have couple years from now. I rather focus on younger guys who haven't hit their prime yet and can grow along side Allen. Can Beane and company identify those guys and sign them. That is what I am interested in seeing this offseason.
