Yep 100% either the other team shoots themselves in the foot or the Refs bail them out.

Sean is not a bad coach, just a bad fit for this team and era

People can blame Dorsey and he is not without fault. However, they put up similar numbers on offense this year. He does need to reign Josh in a little more but not establishing effective running game has been problematic for years now. Offensive line is a huge weakness and upgrades are needed across the board. They brought in a senior defensive assistant and should do the same on the other side. Bring in Roman as a consultant get someone in the building to work with Dorsey on figuring that aspect. Don’t need to be great rushing the ball but at least need to be effective enough that opposing teams can’t completely ignore everyone other than the QB. Honestly inexcusable that the QB was leading rusher for majority of the year. Other than when the play breaks down the only time Josh needs to be running the ball on designed runs is in the redzone. -
Trevon Diggs trying to get his brother in Dallas
billieve420 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think there is too much to read into this. I am sure if the stars aligned being brothers they would like to play together if possible. However, I don’t see that happening at least for next season for sure. Diggs is important piece in the Bills offense and unless you have someone ready to step in and replace that production it is a non story. Dorsey does need to do better job of scheming Diggs open as primary option. Can’t let other teams dictate how you are going to play. -
Apparently Vegas doesn't agree the Bills are done...

Bills are no means a terrible team so makes sense they would still be in the top 5 in Super Bowl odds. However, the question remains can this coaching staff get them there. The Super Bowl window is now. We went all in on Miller and it did not pay off. We were a year late and imagine things would have been different if he was playing on the Bills instead of the Rams during their Super Bowl run. -
Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.

Hence why McDermott should be on the hot seat next season which won't happen. He needs to take ownership of his defense which has underperformed come playoff time and call the plays on gameday. -
UPDATED - v3.0 (FINAL) on p.13 - Gunner's 2023 Mock Draft

Would love to get added value by trading down to the top of the 2nd and having one of the top 3 picks on day 2. -
There were some easy completions out there to be had where Allen decided to force the issue deeper so definitely things for him to work on in the offseason. I still think he needs an upgrade at offensive line where he is not constantly looking to escape once the ball is snapped and a line that can effectively run the ball consistently.

Anyone else on the John Michael Schmitz bandwagon?

I would look to trade out of the first if possible and try nabbing pick in the top of 2nd round then go Oline. -
I think McDermott as CEO of a team and building culture has done good job despite some questions regarding his coaching on game days. However, I am starting to lose faith if he is the person to get team over the hump and it starts with his defense. I can live with the growing pains on offense with Dorsey being a new coordinator and numbers not being that different from when Daboll was here. Do think he needs to reign in Josh a little bit more in regards to the turnovers and knowing when to take chances in a game. They need to focus in the offseason on developing viable run game which has been problem for years. Pegulas should look into bringing Greg Roman in as a consultant to help assist Dorsey on that front and leave no stone unturned. On defense believe issue lies with play caller and not the defense in particular. To me McDermott needs to take ownership and take over the play calling on game day. If Frazier wants to leave on his own accord since it doesn’t appear McDermott is willing to fire him so be it.

Team's hand was forced after seeing how terrible Peterman was. However, the plan was for Josh to not play immediately if at all his rookie season.

Perhaps Kromer is overrated as an OLine coach?

Other than Saffold most of the guys were here already so wonder how much input he has on personnel. -
McDermott tends to stick with the Vets far longer than he should. Thought Elam and Shakir should have played more than they did. This team brings their younger players along too slowly for my liking. Reps are the only way they are going to improve so should be playing their younger players that show promise.

Bills curse spreading to the other teams. I think I saw former Bills TE Kroft miss a block which ended up getting Purdy hurt and effectively ending whatever chance the 49ers had.

I said this Last Year McDermott lacks the killer instinct.

I am slowing coming to the same conclusion on whether McDermott will ever be able to get team over the hump. I am hoping we get lucky and win at least 1 Super Bowl in my lifetime. However, I don't see dynasty coming from this coaching staff. -
Bengals don't have an imposing defensive team. Coaching plays huge part in this and their defensive coordinator was able to limit what the Bills do best and Dorsey had no answers. Whether it was simulated pressure or blitzes the offense looked out of sync and confused. I have yet to see McDermott/Frazier come close to doing this. They beat up on the weak teams but when they come up against legit QB have no answers and are completely outclassed.
