  1. If Josh goes down for any significant period of time season is lost anyway. For team up against the cap having a warm body who fits in the QB room is sufficient. Have to make sacrifices somewhere and backup QB is one I would make with Josh being relatively durable.
  2. Pats signed James Robinson 2yrs max 8 million dollar deal.
  3. Strong TE draft class would rather spend Cap dollars on veteran linebacker instead.
  4. Will see if they go the Veteran route at WR but I have my doubts. Davis started off hot last year then hurt his ankle and wasn’t the same after that. If anything I could see team drafting player versus bringing in high profile guy like Hopkins. Think Beane and Co. are still high on Davis as a player.
  5. Yeah this is something I would be fine with especially with team up against the salary cap.
  6. Someone cheap if Josh is out for any significant period of time we are not going anywhere anyway and might as well tank. No more than 2 yr deal for Vet QB if they decide to go FA route.
  7. Yeah I am not high on Dalvin as others are. If they go FA route rather sign mid tier power back to work in time share with Cook like a Fournette.
  8. Would be totally Jets thing if Rodgers ends up deciding to retire and Jets get screwed.
  9. Number of them were guys I have never heard of. Felt there were more big signings being done the minute FA opened previous years. That or there are just not a lot of big names available this year.
  10. Day 1 of FA felt kinda slow in terms of signings throughout the league. Hopefully the price starts dropping on some the Bills targets.
  11. Bears had the most money to spend in FA so not surprised. They probably overpaid and Bills had no choice but to let him go.
  12. I would still be looking to draft another Guard and/or Tackle. Need some competition for Brown this offseason.
  13. Devil is in the details. Lot of times these deals look crazy but when you see how it is structured it turns out to be solid. I don't mind the money part if player pans out and is not a bust.
  14. Wait there are 2 of them. Did we get the better one?
  15. I don't mind signing special teams players but they need to offer additional roster flexibility by at least playing one or more roles on offense/defense as a backup player at a minimum. I rather take risk on younger cheaper players you can develop and take the hit on special teams.
  16. All star special teams team we are building.
  17. Think the play caller plays a huge role in putting players in the right position to succeed. We won't have an answer on that till after the season. Then we will see how big of loss Frazier no longer being there will be.
  18. I think the fact that McDermott called for a more aggressive defense with a nasty edge tells me all there is to know about Frazier. To me Frazier was effectively pushed out. Imagine team did expect Frazier to return but McDermott had some changes in mind whether that was the play calling or something else. At this point Frazier decided to step away for the year.
  19. When he took over playing calling for Frazier mid-game few years back same defense looked totally different against the Chargers after getting steamrolled in the first half. Who best to call plays other than McDermott. Put onus on him to turn things around while promoting someone younger on the staff like the LB coach who people are high on to run things during the week. Defense doesn't have to be great but they have to be able to slow down some of the teams with franchise QBs.
  20. It we promote internally. McDermott needs to take ownership of his defense and call the plays on gameday. Time will tell if McDermott can get team over the hump but I think he needs to be put on the hot seat and take team to a Super Bowl.
  21. I would let Edmunds shop around and if he wants to bring offer back to team fine. Beane can consider it and move on if they are far apart on a new contract. I personally wouldn’t want to tie up that much money at the LB position anyway. Especially a finesse group that gets manhandled by more physical teams regularly. However, if it makes financial sense I am not against keeping Edmunds who is solid player.
  22. We sure love to focus on special teams. Meh wake me up when we start making some moves on offense.
  23. Wouldn't be surprised if team floated him offer but his Agent probably doesn't think it is enough and they can probably fetch more on open market. So doesn't appear deal is going to be done before FA opens. I wouldn't break the bank for Edmunds if someone is going to drastically overpay.
  24. Off the field stuff and apparently not interviewing well has probably caused some teams to decide he is not the right person to lead a team. I think the fact being in Andy Reid's shadow doesn't help as well.
  25. Philly made the big mistake which cost them the game. Similar to the Pats where they capitalized on the other team's mistakes and never beat themselves which always put them in a position to win.
