At some point team will have to bite the bullet and move on from some of these aging players. If they miss the playoffs I would start this offseason and go for a mini rebuild while trying to field competitive team. I think this group had their shot at the Super Bowl and may have missed their window.

Anything can happen between now and end of the season. However, can’t see Pegula firing McDermott till after the season if it happens. However, if McDermott is brought back next year he should most definitely be on the hot seat.

Other than Harbaugh in Michigan not sure either. If Pegula decides to move on from McDermott. It should be finding the best offensive minded coach to pair with Allen. I would be willing to go with someone up and coming that has worked under some of the better offensive minded head coaches in the league. Philly outcoached this team and it starts with the head coach.

Refs have been terrible across the board not just this game. However, good teams find a way to win. We instead find ways to lose and are overrated. So for me this starts with the HC who coaches scared and it permeates throughout the team who play soft. Like a dark cloud that hangs over team you just know something bad is going to happen.

McDermott is not a bottom 5 coach but you are hoping he can luck into a Super Bowl with him in charge. He is just good enough to lose in big situations. I do think he would get another head coaching job but may have to take DC job before getting another shot. If Bills miss the playoffs and Terry decides to move on hopefully he will be looking at potential offensive candidates to pair with the QB.

Team lacks killer instinct to put teams away and yet we continue to get burned over and over again.

McDermott isn’t it. Loser mentality starts at top.
