  1. Fanduel has BTJ draft position over 19.5 at -172. Trade with Pitt could make sense if Buffalo is interested and he is available at that spot. Both Worthy over 31.5 and Legette over 33.5 slight favorites to go end of round 1/early round 2.
  2. Would like to see how Shorter performs this year. Hoping he can contribute would be nice to have bigger WR with some size on the outside.
  3. I am leaning more and more that the Bills should try to trade back into the early 2nd and get back a 3rd rounder. Draft a boundary guy like Legette or roll the dice on a guy like Worthy and grab Tez Walker later.
  4. End of the day none of this matters. The results will show on the field and you can't completely excuse lack of experience, talent etc... When you pay QB franchise money the expectations are is that he is going to make the other guys around him better. Brady just needs to have a running game that is passable where the entire offense is not on Allen to carry. I believe Allen will do enough to put up solid numbers.
  5. I think Diggs is the type of guy who gets emotional and will say stuff right or wrong. McKenzie essentially confirmed this is just how he is. Josh probably didn't want to hear whatever was said at the time and snapped back. Don't think it was that big of deal at the time. People get mad say things and move on. I do think there were bigger issues between the team and Diggs.
  6. For any mistakes or perceived mistake's Beane has made. They are erased by him finding a Franchise QB in Allen. It isn't easy winning a Super Bowl and when you have a Dynasty in your conference it is that much harder. Despite not winning a Super Bowl. Team has been successful making the playoffs annually and generally being regarded one of the top teams in the league.
  7. Yes I believe some of this is true. Diggs is hyper competitive and felt the championship window was passing by them. I think he got to a point where he didn't feel that this team would be able to get over the hump. Diggs would rather be in Houston closer to this brother in a place where the party scene is better. I think Diggs tolerated Buffalo to a point and was good if team was winning championships. In turn I think the team got tired of having to endure Digg's antics behind the scenes with his drop in production and decided to part ways. Dawkins seems to allude to issues with Allen not being in the best mindset the previous season due to issues I imagine related to his Ex-GF. I think those issues came to a head against the Bengals in that playoff game where Diggs went off on Allen from the sidelines. https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/josh-allen-hailee-steinfeld-love-dion-dawkins/
  8. Team better be right if they make a move like this as there is a number of holes to fill. Not sure if that would be something I would personally do. I would rather take slow approach even if we end up being slightly worse off this year.
  9. His brother is in Texas. The party scene is no doubt better there as well. So imagine Diggs is going to be pretty happy and will be motivated to perform for another contract. Since it is a 1 yr deal he may look to play with his brother the following year if Houston is not interested in bringing him back.
  10. Stroud is on rookie deal they can afford to take chances like this. Digg's performance no longer met the headache the team was willing to put up with so they moved him.
  11. Outside of the top 4 wouldn't mind a small trade back into the 2nd to grab WR there. Would love to come away with Brian Thomas Jr. but long shot at this point.
  12. If it is small trade up to get the guy you want fine. However, no to moving up into the Top 5 for a WR. I am only giving up huge draft haul when looking for a QB. Other than that no to any other position. I would rather trade picks for a veteran WR at that point who actually has performed at the NFL level.
  13. Outside of the top 4 receivers I would be looking at a small trade back into the early 2nd round at this point. If Powers is available wouldn't mind that pick.
  14. With all the defensive injuries I would have signed up before the game if you told me we would only give up 27 pts. I felt from the start the Bills on offense would need to carry the team and put up at least 30 if we were going to beat the Chiefs.
  15. Outside of the division game in 2022 would not call any of the playoff exits great. He was good in the most recent playoff loss against the Chiefs. However, there were instances where we were on the brink of getting blown out. If not for Poyer saving that TD we were probably on the way to being beaten soundly. The almost near fumble while driving to tie the game before the miss FG was another play. For me the next step in his growth is being consistent making the plays in front of him and minimizing the mistakes. We can blame the coaching, defense, o-line, weapons around him. However, I am including Josh in there too. We didn’t put up any points in the 4th quarter and clearly wasn’t good enough to get the win. That falls on the entire team including the QB.
  16. Not many players will ever reach that level dedication to football that guys like Brady or Peyton has shown. You just hope that Josh knows what he needs to work on as a player in order for this team to win a Super Bowl. He will have to take his game to another level if he is going to get past Mahomes.
  17. Only way I am paying a king's ransom to trade up if it is for a QB and only a QB. I am not trading a bunch of assets for any other position.
  18. I was good with pairing 1 Veteran with a rookie this upcoming season. With Rapp and Edwards they don't have to force issue immediately in terms of playing time. I do think team will pick safety in the first couple rounds.
  19. Guess Harrison already knows where he is headed and is not risking injury at this point.
  20. Not always Lynch was ran out of town. He had his own issues but talent wasn’t one of them. If team deems player too big of a headache for what they bring to team they will look to move on. Teams that make any decisions based on what the fans think shouldn’t be in charge in the first place. Essentially if Diggs is no longer worth keeping they could look to get rid of him post June 1st. Don’t see it happening and they most likely look to part ways next year if salary no longer meets production.
  21. I would wait till after the draft to sign any FA RB. Draft one and sign some undrafted ones. If none pan out the way we want can sign another one post cutdown day. Grab a vet Safety and DT before worrying about the RB position.
  22. Imagine Chargers will be drafting WR at 5 now.
  23. At best I could see a small trade up into the early-mid 20s if there is a guy Beane loves. However, I would like to trade back into the early 2nd if possible if the top 4-5 WRs are gone by then.
  24. I will take elite offensive line versus spending any significant dollars at the RB position. If they don't come cheap then draft and replace. Good offensive line will make an average back look decent.
  25. I don't know if they will come away with Simmons but have to imagine we will come away with a veteran DT and S once the dust settles.
