  1. Always horrible at covering screens
  2. Must win game at home. Hope team doesn’t play down to the competition.
  3. Samuel’s big issue has always been availability. I just hope he is 100% healthy and does not end up tweaking something. If he is on the field think he can become difference maker in this offense.
  4. Get Dorian as many reps as possible have to live with some of the mistakes to see what you have before he gets to the end of his rookie deal and is worth extending or not. We are in bit of a transition year rather play the younger guys to see what we have.
  5. I just want to see a more fluid passing offense this year with Joe Brady having full offseason. Like Buddy Nix used to say "Show me the Baby" and I don't care how they get there.
  6. Between the Refs and Chiefs having all the luck have to play sound mistake free football.
  7. Swear Chiefs new luckiest team after the Pats.
  8. Time for Lamar to show up this drive.
  9. With a Super Bowl caliber defense you could make a case. Will see if Baltimore has that this year they haven’t looked great. However, Lamar’s running gives them a puncher’s chance. He just needs to avoid turnovers and play a clean game.
  10. Teams really hand games to the Chiefs by making mistakes at the worst time. Offense finally got a TD on the board and KC goes right back and scores.
  11. Please whatever happens no 3 peat for KC this season.
  12. After rough start nice recovery from Baltimore.
  13. To me it is going to be all about pressure up front. If the front 4 can't generate pressure on the QB. Doesn't matter who is back there they are going to look bad.
  14. Relationships matter. McDermott felt comfortable with Babich's knowledge of his system and thought he was the most qualified. Multiple teams sought out interviews with him. That wouldn't happen if he was not someone people in the league thought was up and coming coach. Other people left the organization like D-line coach Eric Washington and Safety coach John Butler both of whom you assume interviewed for position but did not get the job. Washington had previous experience as defensive coordinator as well but they decided to go with Babich. Normally that is how it goes in most professional organizations and you look to promote from within first before looking outside. It would not have made any difference if McDermott hired someone from outside the org as anyone could still make claim that McDermott is looking to protect his job and find new scapegoat. McDermott calling plays last year squarely put target on his back and obviously Pegula thought he did a good job as he is still here. However, long term probably something that couldn't be sustained as the head coach has responsibilities outside the defense he is responsible for. End of the day any shortcomings or failures by people around him also fall on the head coach.
  15. Two people off the top of my head outside the organization were Philadelphia Eagles DC Sean Desai and former Jacksonville Jaguars DC Mike Caldwell.
  16. Babich was being looked at for defensive coordinator positions elsewhere so he was on his way up in the league. Plus not too many defensive coordinators who don’t call plays so this was always the likely outcome unless he showed he wasn’t ready for responsibility.
  17. Makes sense it will be easier to move to Fields in the event Wilson is cooked and can't play anymore.
  18. Yeah have to imagine getting insight on Dolphin's playbook played a role and it will definitely be useful with White being in their QB room versus if he was playing some other position.
  19. People aren't going to question someone with 3 SuperBowls. Mahomes has proven himself to be the top QB in the league there is no disputing that.
  20. It is in Josh's hands to change the narrative this year. People can't use Diggs as an excuse anymore. Team around him is markedly unproven. If he puts up similar or better numbers people will have to acknowledge how good he is. However, until he can get past Mahomes and get to a Super Bowl there will always be detractors.
  21. The only reason they keep Tribusky is him knowing playbook and won't make waves in the locker room since him and Allen are close. Personally I would bring in someone else but if they decide to keep Tribusky. Go with younger player on the practice squad who could potentially be the back up in 2025. Front Office needs to stop wasting cap dollars on the back up QB position by targeting veteran players. Go with youth and potentially upside instead.
  22. Yeah YouTube stream is jacked looks like issue with local feed.
  23. Haven’t been impressed with the defensive line play for much of the preseason. Secondary has been decent.
