  1. If you only knew how many times your information has been sold to companies. Not saying that is what happened either. Knowing the web system that Obama's campaign used during the election it is very, VERY easy to gain a huge emailing list. Remember one of, if not the BEST ground campaigns ever.
  2. Not at all. That is the only thing as of right now that worries me.
  3. What a frightening world this must be for you. Enemy list. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  4. I am all for fair wages. Although, I am skeptical about how the cost of prescriptions keep going up, the cost of doctors visits keep going up, etc., etc. Which all in all means the cost of my insurance coverage goes up. And yes, fear the government they are out to get everyone.
  5. Anyone notice how big walker was next to Rhodes in the video? Dear god that dude is huge.
  6. From what I understand that is part of the plan. That will, in their eyes, prompt more doctors to become a primary care physician.
  7. Did I say spending more? What I said was more about leveling the reimbursement levels for doctors so that more doctors MAY want to get into primary care as opposed to specialized medicine.
  8. True that the stimulus was to avert an 8% unemployment rate... I think the problem was/is that a lot of companies that most likely weren't in trouble streamlined down to a leaner staff. They see if works with companies that are trying to stay afloat, and figure why not try it. Of course, that can be a smart move for many companies, but it will also add to the unemployment rate. I am sure most people did not expect that. I agree completely with you, anyone who thinks the 787 billion is a mere drop in a bucket - they are crazy. I am giving the President a long leash since he is trying one way or another (agree with or not) to get this country turned in the right direction. Let's face it, there is a lot wrong with this country right now.
  9. I am not, nor will I ever claim that I know everything... so forgive me if I ask questions in return. So many people are surprised on how popular and great Cash for Clunkers was.. you dislike it because they underestimated the popularity = having the correct amount of funds available? Stimulus... Hasn't that also helped out people with extension of unemployment, subsidizing health care for those who lost their jobs using COBRA? I know that the stimulus has helped out states through infrastructure projects, school constuction and education. I think they are are some other places where the stimulus has touched and done some good. Do you agree? With that being said, yes unemployment rate increasing into the 9%+ range indeed sucks. Hopefully, that will come down soon. Personally I think a lot of businesses now that they "trimmed the fat" will continue to run lean as long as they can not wanting to hire new people.
  10. Could have just said that you will never believe in this administration no matter what happens. Nothing wrong with that either.
  11. One thing would be more Doctors wanting to practice Primary Care with the knowledge that they will be paid a bit better.
  12. Wasn't it discussed that reimbursement levels would be leveled out from Specialists to Primary Care?
  13. You should know that I am not all things union. I have said countless times that unions themselves need change. Am I pro-Labor Movement? Hell Yes! I also wouldn't call it anti-union stance. I would call it hatred of unions, or anti-union blanket statements which roll every union member or pro-Labor person into a negative light. In other words, BS.
  14. And wasteful testing... helping Doctors, Hospitals and Specialists communicate better.
  15. Didn't he place some republicans into certain roles? example: Ray LaHood, Secretary of Transportation
  16. I agree with a lot of that. They do have legit questions. I believe that the problem is where they look for answers. Let's face it, there are a lot of lobbyists/groups on both sides doing whatever they can to pass or have reform fail. I think their anger grows when they are fed information about people coming into their homes and telling them what to do, death panels, being viable to society, etc. Those ideas are frightening the hell out of a lot of people including me. Fact is that they aren't true and most people don't realize it. The talking box tells them they are true so that's what they believe no matter what.
  17. THAT is truly the biggest question. Reform is great, but it needs to be paid for in a responsible way and it seems as though no one knows how that is going to happen yet.
  18. You have to admit, Bush did turn a deaf ear to Labor. Either way, then and now I think they are whack jobs. People need to listen to all sides. It's the only way things will get done.
  19. And it's sad. People are so worried about being heard (especially with health care) that their shouting ruins any sort of civil discourse.
  20. So he stated the obvious that the USPS is continually having problems and losing ground.
