  1. In other words you had a sense of National Pride in sports. Ok. Sure the mayor of the city can and has been making the push for the Olympics... what is the problem with Michelle Obama helping out? What is the problem with the President taking a few days to help out as well. Use some of his popularity around the world to help out? Nothing is wrong with that. Nothing at all. And yes, I feel as though if another city was in the remaining few he would do the same for them. Not everything has to have some sort of evil backroom dealing going on. ie: People stating he's only doing this to help those who helped him get into office - corrupt Chicago politics.
  2. Just remember, not everything started under the dem's watch. Just saying.
  3. Yeah, you're right. There's no national pride when it comes to Olympics. What was I thinking? Guess you didn't give a crap when the USA won the gold in Hockey years ago huh? I am very cool with Obama... MAINLY Michelle Obama trying to get the Olympics in Chicago. People just finding more reasons to hate and be pissed. Can't be good for your health. Enjoy the wharf, should be calming these days.
  4. Yeah, that's it. Talk about showcasing ones mentality. It's called a sense of national pride. I loved when the Olympics were in the United States in the past and I hope they are in Chicago. Oh and I forgot to add for all of those with the same mentality... "Bad Bad Union" Feel Better?
  5. The type of response I expected. Thank you. Made his priority no. If you watch the news Michele Obama is the one doing most of the pushing for Chicago. He is spending what, a few days on this? And do not question my comprehension because I believe it would be great for the Olympics to be in the U.S. Oh and the lovely republican march is coming out too. House Minority Leader John Boehner torched President Barack Obama Wednesday for his European trip to pitch the Chicago Olympics bid, criticizing the president for "going to go off to Copenhagen when we've got serious issues here at home that need to be debated." Two questions for Boehner - Were you upset when Bush went to Olympics and got hammered? I believe the U.S. had major issues then too on top of the conflict in Georgia? What is the republican party doing to fix these problems? Just asking?
  6. Again, great job by the Obama's. It would be great if the Olympics came to Chicago.
  7. I'd be happy with two TDs. One from Owens and one from Evans. Like I have said, we've got two weeks to get things moving before facing the Jets. It would be nice to be 2-1 in the division after that game.
  8. Great job by the Obama's for spending a little bit of time trying to get the Olympics in Chicago. Would be nice to them back in the U.S. and in such a great city. Just don't spend too much time because dimwitted people will say that there's corruption going on or that he's avoiding issues.
  9. Totally agree. A win is a win. Who cares who the opponent is. I'd rather them play well and win against the fish and browns.. hopefully learning how to finish games off before they play the Jets.
  10. Dimwit, I'd hate to tell you the only way things are going to change is from within Iran. From what we have the Iranian people do not have the same beliefs and mindset as their leader.
  11. Maybe we should give them eight years like we gave the republicans. Ahhh, either way the republicans will equate everything Obama and the democrats do to socialism, hitler or the end of the humanity. Bring back the party of scare tactics.
  12. 100% do not want to see any strikes in either direction.
  13. My thoughts about the game... A) Where was the O-line today? Or at least the plans to deal with the pass rush/blitz? B) How many low snaps did TE have to deal with today? C) Damn the defense kept us in that game, they played great. I would imagine were just to tired in the end. D) I have been a huge fan of TE since he came on board. I am wondering what's going on... why the check downs? Why isn't there a play that we can execute to keep the defense from blitzing every other play? Defense I give a - B. Offense - F. Coaching - F. Side note: Good for TO keeping his emotions in check... I don't blame him for being pissed.
  14. Give me a break. He missed a lot of camp and now is playing now and then in the first three games of his rookie year. Again, give me a break.
  15. Would have been better as 78 in honor of Bruce.
  16. No only Atlanta's offense, but their defense is pretty good too.
  17. The best thing is that IF the Bills can pull this upset, the national media will say that the Saints imploded. Giving the Bills no credit. No don't get me wrong, that could be a great thing.. better to have this team fight for respect... earn it. All the while possibly flying under the radar.
  18. PK Rian Lindell was named AFC special teams player of the week for his four field-goal game against Tampa Bay. His successful streak of PATs is at 288 after making all three of his tries. It's the longest streak to start an NFL career. (Yahoo! Sports) Nice!!
