I have been one of the biggest optimists for the Bills.. and man I think Sunday was finally it. Dear god, the team did not / could not do anything. Yes, some players made some nice plays (mainly the sacks), but it was pathetic at best and if anything they looked like they quit. I am tired of lackluster football. I want a team that plays with intensity, plays with emotion and swagger knowing that they can beat any team. We clearly do not have that. Go figure, I just bought my authentic André Reed jersey too. Well, at least we now have Sabres hockey and college basketball starting up (one month away for basketball).

All of our players suck, I wished we could draft all new players or go back and redraft. Dear god, this is the crap people have to see here.

I think I would rather have Gruden. Someone who will get fired up every play. Our players whatever reason need that. Being in the NFL I guess isn't enough.

JP's the missing link? Seriously, the o-line now MAY be on it's way to being better. However, most of JP's problems were caused by JP.

My point is simply this... Trent is the guy. Anybody else at this point = right off the season. I'll give you that I would love to see them stretch the field a bit, but not everything is his fault. And really Captain Checkdown... nobody called Brady that when came back to beat the Bills week 1.

People also have to remember that Trent and the Bills were 5-1 before having a ridiculous amount of injuries.

One win and Pats/Jets loss means still one game out. More importantly 1-1 in the division.

I think that Trent is a good QB with potential to be great. Look we all know that Schonert had to go, we all know that Dick is not the long term answer and that he had to learn the ropes by sitting behind JP. Those items can seriously affect any players growth, let alone your QBs. Personally, I think he is still going to get better. It's few and far in between that you find QBs becoming stars in the NFL in their first, second or even third year.

I am soooo sick of this Captain Checkdown crap. Would we rather have JP back... A guy who could only throw the long ball, but sucked at checking down? Or would you rather scrap Trent and drat yet another QB hoping that they progress fast enough for us to be in the playoffs? What would that be another 2-3 years?
