  1. Pretty much everything the offense needs to do is based off of that OL playing well. They need to do that NOW.
  2. Really who gives a crap. Peters did not want to be in Buffalo. They should have kept Walker and Dockery.
  3. Personally I could give a crap about Peters. I keep looking at Dockery playing well with the Skins, would have been cheap to keep him and he seems to have some solid play. Walker, could have kept him where he played last year.
  4. I still think Trent could be the answer. Let's face it, no matter who we throw back there unless they shore up that OL the QB is doomed. UNLESS... Doughboy plans for more roll out passes like the TD to Reed last week. Throw a few of those in their and naked bootlegs like the Bills did in the first game. That could keep a defense from blitzing every down.
  5. All we can hope for that both the Jets and Pats lose. Either way, the Bills HAVE to their act together NOW.
  6. Great. Two weeks to prepare.... oops, they'll screw that up.
  7. Last two seasons 800+ yards and 1,200+ yards. He moves the chains and since we don't we know how that helps out. You know, I was looking at available FA's to see who the Bills could target if they actually did want to do something. Problem is what the hell do they need? OL - Yes, TE - Yes, LB's - Yes... it's to long of a list.
  8. For once, I 150% agree with you. It is quite scary that we're not trying crap to get better.
  9. I'm not one to care about drops if the receiver can still put up a 1,000 yards and at least 8 TDs. Which he covered two years ago, last year not so much. Only 800+ yards and 3 TDs.
  10. Even though I always want a win. I would be nice to see someone come in now and have most of this season to get things moving in the right direction. Then having FA, the Draft and TC to mold whatever we have now into something much, much better.
  11. Exactly. Teams that want to go into the playoffs are always looking to better themselves one way or another. Let's face it the Bills aren't one of those teams.
  12. Wow, so NFL teams actually do try to get better during the season. Great job Bills.
  13. And he did nothing the first half except get bailed out by his defense. I'm not going to sit here and argue about Ben. I really don't care. I think TE can play better, he has shown us that... question is can he come back from this and take the next step. Hopefully he will be able to do that. However nothing is going to happen unless other people on this team and within the coaching staff start to do their jobs as well. We need some fire on this team... some passion.
  14. The Steelers winning last year had A LOT to do with their defense. Hell Roethlisbergers stats in that game were not good. B. Roethlisberger: 21/30 1 TD, 1 INT. And his lone TD came very late in the game.
  15. Granted he played poorly yesterday. I still feel bad for him though. Man he was getting crushed on pretty much every play. Opposing teams... how to beat the Bills. Blitz. When that doesn't work.. they will kill themselves with penalties.
  16. The Bills was and has been absolutely horrible. I like Wood and Levitre though, I think they will turn out to be great players for us.
  17. True. But most young QBs do what they are told, play how they are coached. Whether it be the OC or the HC.
  18. The Steelers OL has been and is better than the Bills. There is no denying that.
  19. Face it. Trent has done what a lot of young QBs have done... managed the game well. Not looking for huge plays, etc. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have seen him take the next step, however due his own faults and the MANY around him (bad HC, bad OC, very young unexperience OL, etc.) he has not. Can he get better with a new HC and a experienced OC? With a solid OL? I still think so. Unfortunately, those changes need to happen yesterday and we all know that Ralph doesn't like to do anything during the season. Hopefully, I am wrong but I think he may turn out to be another JP. A kid with potential, that gets ruined by those making the decisions that affect the pieces around him.
  20. Hell even Kelly would have been traded or let go if he played today.
  21. People have to realize that these players do hate losing. I am sure they wouldn't be in the NFL if they gave up or liked to lose. I am sure that many coached by PR staffers to avoid, be general and keep things in check during press conferences.
  22. Nothing will happen. Ralph will believe or be talked in believing that they can turn this around. If it doesn't happen then and only then will they fire Dick (end of season).
