I don't blame him for problems that started under Bush's watch. I will also admit that he has messed up some things, such as Healthcare. Two things... 1) I wouldn't doubt Fox News did some cleaver editing. 2) It never hurts to show a group of people how they have contributed to science or anything else. Just another way (granted not a good one in this case) of getting people engaged, talking to each other. Ultimately NASA was a waste of money. Yes, unbelievable things have come through their efforts, at the same those explorations are just not needed right now.

I do find it funny that you said he has had his chances... I find it hard to believe that you would ever believe in him as a President no matter what he does. I'm sure he understands NASA's mission. Yet, was looking for a way to expand it. Either way, I am kind of glad that the space shuttle program has ended. At least for now. No reason to spend all of that money right now, when it could be used somewhere else.
