  1. Thank you. And I think you are doing a great job as well in following the herd within the message board. to you too!!
  2. I would have never guessed that he votes that way.
  3. Lately, Obama has stated that he is looking for a FISA compromise. I also do believe (and I may be wrong) that the democrats did attempt to have some amendments added, however they were shot down.
  4. Wow that was brilliant. Wheew, I am amazed.
  5. No doubt. Spending has to be dramatically cut. Problem is that both will be spending. How much, on who and where are the questions.
  6. I do agree with you on Pelosi. I think most just bought into the hype of having a woman there instead of a having a leader. I also agree with you about republican leaders... however in my opinion the republican leadership has gone down the toilet since 2000.
  7. Yes, anyone that thinks differently than the herd here is Molson or his twin.
  8. I believe Obama is going to be a better President for the Labor movement and working families than McCain. McCain simply does not work for me - tax cuts for the rich, when their companies & personal wealth grows it will then trickle down to working families.
  9. I think your last post was perfect. Talk about posting stupid schit.
  10. I feel as though once the dems take complete control things will get done, not being blocked or threatened with a veto by Bush. Once that have control, they will have to prove their worth. No doubt, or they deserve to be ousted.
  11. Yes, you are right. People like me. And what matters to you? Where the Congress before led the country? Great job!!
  12. I thought we were listing some gems. I found most of McCain's funny... others a bit on the scary side.

I condemn remarks that are, in any way, viewed as anti-anything. And thanks for asking." --after being asked by George Stephanopoulos about receiving the endorsement of Evangelical pastor Rev. John Hagee, who has made a number of controversial remarks, including calling Catholicism "The Great Whore" and blaming Hurricane Katrina on gays "Make it a hundred...That would be fine with me." -to a questioner who asked if he supported President Bush's vision for keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 50 years "I'm going to be honest: I know a lot less about economics than I do about military and foreign policy issues. I still need to be educated." "Well, it's common knowledge and has been reported in the media that Al Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran. That's well known. And it's unfortunate." -before correcting himself by saying Iran was training "extremists," not Al Qaeda (Watch video clip) "I will conduct a respectful debate. Now, it will be dispirited -- it will be spirited -- because there are stark differences. I am a proud conservative, liberal Republica-- conservative Republican...Hello? Easy there." (Watch video clip) "I am a illiterate that has to rely on my wife for all of the assistance I can get." -after being asked whether us uses a Mac or a PC (Watch video clip) "The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well as I should. Because Janet Reno is her father." --at a 1998 Republican fundraiser
  14. Wow and I got blasted for listing McCain's flip-flops. I wonder what would happen if I listed some of his worst statements.
  15. Just curious what states that things are going so great or better in Iraq? For every source on one side there's another saying the opposite.
  16. First off they should bring them home in both countries. And the republicans now are telling the Iraqi leaders, nope we don't like your ideas on a time table for us leaving your country. That screws us over.
  17. Go to the AP they list all of the numbers for you.
  18. Well, let's see Afghanistan had more combat deaths than Iraq. May was what around 19 or so. June was 28. The other day had 40 dead and I believe around 150 injured in another suicide bombing. For while you never really heard of anything coming out of Afghanistan except the positive. So yeah, it seems like things are slipping just a bit to me. Media I guess lies about the number of people dying right. Can't eat that information up.
  19. I think that's the major problem now... Afghanistan. From what I have read it seems like things are slipping away there.
  20. Found it interesting, have a problem with that? If so, get over it. People do it here all of the time.
