  1. This is just to funny how they whine... A couple months ago we posted a blog with Hank Steinbrenner complaining about how the Yankees got screwed out of the playoffs because of the way the playoffs are set up. At the time I made fun of him for being an idiot. Well I’m not laughing anymore. Honestly there needs to be an asterix next to this year’s Superbowl Champion because they didn’t go through us and we’re as good and as hot as anybody in the league right now. And 11-5 should get you in the playoffs every single year. That’s how the founding fathers intended it to be. It’s just not fair that the Cardinals, Eagles and either Broncos or Chargers will be in the post season and we won’t. The league has to take a hard look at this and figure out a solution to rectify this problem. And I’m not talking about for the future either. I’m talking about right f-ing now! I don’t know whether that means declaring us the winner of the AFC East or creating a new playoff spot or what? But rules are made by human beings and human beings can break them when they spot an injustice and this is a friggin injustice. Seriously if the NFL wants this post season to be taken seriously then Goodell has to figure something out. If not this will just be like when the US boycotted the 1980 Olympics games. It will tarnish the entire competition because everybody knows they didn’t beat the best of the best. Is that what the country wants? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
  2. Can they tax people that have more than 4,000 posts on any message board?
  3. Well I agree that it's not completely the unions fault. That's just an easy place to lay blame.
  4. What is your point?
  5. Off Road Timed Test (0-60) Handling / Traction Control Trailer Haul or Towing Capacity
  6. That key is broken on my keyboard.
  7. And I watched a show running a Hybrid Tahoe vs. V8 Pick-up. Hybrid beat the V8 on many levels.
  8. You actually get great performance out of some hybrid vehicles.
  9. Who gives a cap what Americans like? Better fuel efficiency for ALL vehicles is needed. Trimming down the lines/brands is needed.
  10. I think you may be right on some level. Yes, the American consumer likes the bigger vehicles. However, GM has been starting to introduce some great hybrid or flexfuel SUVs. Tahoe Hybrid is extremely nice. And actually I drive a Suburban. The engine switches from V8 to V4 at cruising speeds. I get pretty good gas mileage on it.
  11. And I love it when you call every else an idiot. Enjoying that holiday spirit.
  12. I agree with you in regards to Chrysler. I wouldn't necessarily call Ford a success story yet either. I think both Ford and GM stretched themselves way to much. Glad that GM is getting the loan and hoping that they will trim back the lines to GMC, Chevy and maybe keep the G6/G8 line from Pontiac.
  13. Of course not Bush put a lot of the bail out on the workers... in a nutshell blaming them.
  14. Well when the favorite term used in the news is "Bailout" people should look at every company that received money. I am not to sure, but are the financial companies expected to pay their money received back? I guess that's the difference between wall street and the auto industry. Well, that and there was no time frame given to wall street either.
  15. How about applied to protect the workers? Is that better?
  16. Yes, all union leaders are corrupt. I guess those audit reports given to the DOL will showcase the pay offs.
  17. Same ol' song and dance. BLAME THE UNIONS!!! It's old get over it.
  18. "President Bush stepped in Friday to keep America's auto industry afloat, announcing a $17.4 billion bailout for GM and Chrysler, with the terms of the loans requiring that the firms radically restructure and show they can become profitable soon." Ok, so they approved the LOAN. Great news!!
  19. How do you own the car companies? Nothing has happened to help them out as of yet. And they are asking for a loan.
  20. Haven't we been doing that with some of the financial bailout money? Bonuses still going out.
  21. And lower standards.
  22. Not every union worker receives $30 per hour and three weeks vacation. Most don't.
  23. Plus, even though that matrix looking car may have some bells and whistles.... it would be expensive to run. Diesel is still pretty expensive.
  24. Most cops in our area drive the Dodge Charger.
  25. Such fiscal irresponsibility. Keeping leaders in place in those companies is part of a bad business model.
