Dawkins bad preseason game is getting blow out of proportion... I went back and watched and paid particular attention to Dion and Spencer. There where times where Dawkins did his job, stayed in front of his man, creating a pocket but Josh didn't step up in and Dawkins man made the play. There where other plays where the ball was held on to for to long, some of this was a result of a god awful amount of penalties, go back and watch, when the ball is snapped count to three, if at the count of 3 Dion is still in front of his man and Josh is still holding the ball even though the man Dion was blocking made the play he still did his job. Now Spencer Brown on the other hand plays with terrible pad level, The leverage he plays at is awful. It looks like he is standing straight up. He has had all offseason to learnt to keep his hips under him, its like a QB thats always had a huge arm but cant wrap his head around the mental part of the NFL...He's a big powerful man and probably has spent his life slapping people around and not learning proper form, Talent isn't enough in this league.

Yeah That includes our QB rushing, not exactly ideal inside goal line situations. Singletary's yards where inflated due to nobody giving a ***** if they gave him the ball. If we had a legitimate threat at RB we would have had far more attempts and Singletary would have more suiters in free agency with a loftier contract.

Yeah you dont tag #2 WRs unless you can trade him to be someone's #1 I think that's what they did with Peerless Price when they had Moulds. Giving a guy an average of the 10 ten paid players at a position where he isn't the #1 on his own team and he hasn't shown that he is a #2 doesn't make sense.

Its irrelevant?? If youre playing Derrick Henry you arent going to give him any more attention than Devin Singletary? Your linebackers aren't more likely to take a step forward? Its completely relevant. Above Average when defenses don't need to key on you isn't above average...Having no confidence for your coaching staff to commit to a run isn't Above Average.

It says they werent the primary problem...indicating they where a problem. No defense lined up worried about our running game, play action is huge at the goal line Singletary is slow and our Oline was average.

No threat of a running game probably factors into this.

Doubtful they use any gadget plays during the preseason. If he has value we will see it down the stretch.

With an improved offensive lines and better RBs we should be less predictable. A respectable run game will change the way defenses play us. Hopefully Gabes foot injury is behind him and he improves.

His best scenario is to take that passion and us it to lead, getting on teamates for slacking, dogging, make every rep count.

They used the # 9 pick to draft a penetrating DT that gets 2.5 sacks a year...they developed him to continue to get low production. Not to sure this is what good teams do.
