I disagree with the second reason you state that the Bills use a true fullback and a tight end. The west coast philosophy may employ a true fullback and a tightend. The Bills do not use or have a tight end or a fullback that is true to anything but being bad.
Most of Peters poor play came when he first returned from his holdout. The man hasnt played football in like 9-10 months, after about a month into his return he was playing solid. If he has a full offseason attending workouts and the camps. He will be one of the best tackles in the league next year. I hate that he held out and came back sluggish however I understand that he proved that he was a quality starter at left tackle ( a very highly paid postion) playing next to a very average left guard making stupid money. Peters is getting paid undrafted free agent tight end turned experimental Right Tackle money. I predict Peters attends all minicamps and offseason activities and plays freakishly well in the final year of his contract. Your concern should be will the Bills buck up then or have they anger this mans moral that he wont want to return to Buffalo. There is a reason this man keeps ending up on Pro Bowl Ballots. Trading him right now is not going to happen because he has 1 cheap yeah left on his contract if he is going to be traded it will be next year after a franchise tag is slapped on him.
Youre only as good as the p;ayers around you. Reed had James Lofton, Don Bebee, Pete Metzalaars, Keith Mckeller, Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, and a good oline.
The whole AFC east would have interest in him with the uncertainty of Favres return and his ancient-ness. Pennington stays healthy for a whole season once every six years. I like Trent I think he can be a very good QB in this league but he is a fragile butterfly and we need a more durable qb if we are going to have Duke Preston's on our oline.
Fine played decent for us. Gonzalas wants out of Kansas City, he is old but still playing at a high level. I wonder what there asking price would be? I doubt they'll get a #1 for him because of his age, He'd bring alot to this young team.
Might have something to do with the players around him.
who are you going to pay leas attention to and let roam free? a.) Ray Lewis
b.) Ed Reed
c.) Terrell Suggs
d.) Jim Leonard
Im equally ready for a win as a I am for a loss, Jaurons actually a quality coach, we are the least talented group in the AFC east therefore we finished last in the AFC east, plain and simple.
Gilbert actually looked pretty sharp in the preseason, plus he's mobile. Im not sure it will even happen if JP gets injured being that Trent is still dressing for the games.
Agreed, Dicks not a great coach but he's not a bad coach either, If we cant control the line of scrimmage we'll never be more than average. Dick needs some help we need a proven success at offensive coordinator, and some hogs on both sides of the ball.
Actually there is not one sentence in that statement that implies that Dick Jauron is a good NFL head coach. Im trying to hear some thoughtful reasons to axe him other than that - he gives bad speeches fire him - were not going to make the playoffs with bad players - fire him. Our second year QB that was taken in the 3rd round isnt playing well- fire him, and other dumbass statements like the response you just left.
