We are on track to get a top 5 pick, and with Detriot and Tampa already having QBs we may have a shot at grabbing the best QB in the draft, with a high 2nd round pick to grab a hog.

Well Butler went down for the season I thought Walker would instantly be contacted, at the time it was only 2 weeks after he got cut, he wasnt that much out of the loop, new the playbook and the players, and had time to realize nobody wants to sign him. Im not sure if Langston had an attitude like Peters, or our front office is stubburn, If Butler went out for a few games I could see plugging Scott or Chambers in But after week 2 he goes out forthe season..makes no sense to me

Maybin may not be ready to start; unfortunately, besides Schobel none of our other ends are ready to start. Maybin has showed some great potential in the preseason we invested our 11th pick on him why hesitiate to put him in? He may suck against the run- so doesnt Kelsay. He may have missed some time but lets face it, hes not playing QB or WR, hes a defensive end, his jobs is to line up and any flickler of offensive movement, shoot your gap - its pretty basic. Part of this is because I really hate the idea of watching Kelsay loop 5 yards around the pocket on everyplay again.

Denney is most likely not going anywhere. Now Kelsey is an average defensive end, could we trade him for an average offensive linemen? I like the idea of rotating Denney, maybin, ellis at the LE position. With or without Kelsay this position is going to be mediocre this year, Maybin my light it up here and there but he is a rookie and will be handled at times, but for this season it will be mediocre at best. Kelsey and Denney provide good depth at DE could either of them be exchanged for good offensive line depth?

Yes it would be great to have him but he is A defensive end that most likely will not see significant time until halfway through the season. We would all like to see what he has now, but its neither maybins or the bills fault entirely, these are huge contracts and not easily dealth with, he will be there soon enough.

Before we are able to use any gimmick or gadget plays we must be able to establish the run. Unless marshawn is getting 4 yards a carry dont plan on seeing any effectiveness from craftyness. We use to try gimmick plays to Roscoe and they didnt work and they where plain as day. Miami is successful because Ronnie Brown is so dangerous he sucks the defense to him. Roscoe is a return man, Id like to see him on kick returns also so Mckelvin and Mcgee are less likely to get injured, he will be a #5 WR if that this year.

Its hard to really judge whitner as a player is only as good as the people around him. Where these mediocre tight ends running by him covered by him in the defensive scheme that was called making Donte (who is the last line of defense) tackle them in persuit which may have Whitner tackling from behind apperaing that he was beat in coverage. Two interceptions, how many picks would Ed and Troy have if there defensive front couldn't apply pressure, and since we cant apply presssure we must blitz to have a chance at the QB, where these mediocre tight ends exploiting a blitz. And our corners havent exactly been the best in the league. Is the defensive play calling having him help out a cornerback in coverage when all this big plays are happening when he is half a step late? Oh and I almost forgot we cant stop the run that well either which means he has to step up in the box to help the run leaving him backpeddling to gain ground to the deep middle. I agree he hasnt made the plays that we hoped for with the 8th overall pick but comparing him to coy wire- thats just wrong.
