I player with an ACL injury walks away, rarely does a player comeback 100% from an ACL. You most likely right in the fact that he would have been cut.

Its not a matter of going with a QB over a LT its whos available when where on the clock. There are only 2 QBs worth a first round pick, and about 5 teams ahed of us could possible go with the option of a QB. We most likely will grab one in RD 3

Like you said he was hurt, and he usually is hurt, Jonas Jennings was a pretty good left tackle for us but ultimatly he wasnt worth resigning because he was hurt all the time. He and butler both are fragile. Also, like you said he did look pretty good he has a penelty problem which should be fixed with experiance and coaching. I think he will be good to start the season with and slowly bring along our rookie LT then the rook will take over in week 4 when Bell is hurt again.

He looked pretty rough in his bowl game.

2 years ago I liked Edwards upside, after a few concussions and last years Dick Jaurons Climax, he really seemed lost. Right now he and Fitz IMO are the same player neither will stretch the field. Neither is the long term answer, in the right situation with a supporting cast and an Oline Edwards is better. I dont feel as a QB will be our route in the draft, I say release Fitzpatrick, bring a better free agent in let Edwards, Brohm, and the new guy compete all offseason.

I think his point was from a player standpoint, making reads and seeing the field. IN a 4-3 its pretty cut and dry on whos doing what mainly in regards to blitz pickup. Im sure he understands it.

Trading Lynch just opens another hole in our roster that is already full of holes. Can we find somebody as good through free agency or the draft? His first 2 seasons he had 1000+ yards then he had a "eventful" offseason that got him suspended for 4 games then return to an organization that was a complete disastor. I think where a season early to make this judgement. Now we have some offensive minds instead of Alex "I call a swing pass every 4 plays" vanpelt and hopefullly a healthy revamped offensive line, and maybe a QB that can throw the Ball 20 yards? hopefully we can utilize Lynch and Jackson as a tandom. IMO RB is the one area we might be OK in why do we need to mess with that too?

a 2nd or a 3rd for Donte? An average joe journeyman Bryon Scott beat him out of strong safety, then he was slid to FS where he was eventually beat out by a 2nd round pick rookie. We gave a 3rd and a 5th for Marcus Stroud who at the time was a highly regarded DT. A 4th might be asking to much.

this is the first wish list ive seen on here thats actually obtainable.
