  1. My feeling is,give up the picks and take a proven player , all things being equal as the saying goes. Who would you want , a young proven star or a wet behind the rookie? Quess it depends where your team is. Draft picks cost less ( except real high picks) but you usually only get 2 good years play( 2 years to learn pro ball) before their rookie contract run out . If the team is just a few players out of the playoffs , heh, mortgage the farm. If the Bills want to win now,are they Listening? Give a good RT and RB some money. Swing a deal for a proven TE, Denver seems to be in a trading mood. Sign a pass rushing DE, there is one in FA with a Pats invite in his pocket. Please don't say you'd rather have Taylor chasing Trent twice a year than teaming with Aaron. Our open guard spot can be filled better than it was last year by Chambers or a late cut. Use the draft to find a replacement for Ellison and depth on the lines.I say this cause LB seems to be a position rookies develope at most quickly . Or we good trade for a bunch of draft picks and start all over again.
  2. So we can expect Peters leaned nothing from last years holdout? Bills: " Jason, we will consider a new contract but we expect you to show commitment to the team and leadership on and off the field." Jason: Heh , I"m a big time pro bowl fat ass ....show me the money".
  3. "this weeks required where is Jason post" Any rumors or sightings yet for our under-achieving pro bowler? My thinking is if he shows, Brandon writes the check before training camp. If he is a no-show,out of shape for camp, he gets traded before the first preseason game.
  4. What about? moving Whitner to FS, Corner to Nickle, Youboty to SS, he seems to be a real hard hitter and looked very good against the run and pass before his injury last year .
  5. I've seen about enough of Bill's def. ends taking their big looping speed rushes, ending up two steps late, or taking themselves out of the play completely. We should have at least one big man like Jackson who can push the tackle right back in the QB's face and shut down the run. and please, if I see our DE'nds 20 yards down field trying to cover a back or TE again..........shish . Or if they are really looking for help ....Julius P.
  6. Ah,,,No. If we go after a FA lets make it TJ Hoosyurmomma.
  7. Yes I hope the Bills remember that T.J.Houshmandzadeh is out there in FA this year. A smart GM might sign him and franchise /trade Evans.
  8. I think we should play a field position / turnover game and force Moorman to punt on first down. Play to not lose Dick.
  9. From what I saw Peters has been dogging it all year . Pay me more or I'll pout because it's not about the game, the fans or my team , it's about me, me, me. I actually think trading him could benefit the team. The Bills could probably get a 1st and second this year and a first or second next year. If a player trade was made maybe something like Peters and a pick for soneone like Julius Peppers.
  10. I remember when Ditka traded his entire draft for a first round pick; pretty entreme. If Ralph traded the entire roster for a first round pick that would really make news. Lets just hope he doesn't turn out to be a rookie bust, but hey we are talking about "Da Bills".
  11. Quit trying to sugar coat it.
  12. No, well in a way. What I saying is after spending whatever zillion dollars on the o-line they still suck!!!!!!! Bunch of fat slow too tall lineman that never get under there run blocks, blow assignments, whiff on pass rushers and excel at false starts. Should I even mention our center that can't tell his QB is in shotgun and not BFing him on the line. Where is Trey Teague when you need him?
  13. Article is great insight to our o-line problem .. quotes from lineman about needing to block harder, longer , give better effort, like Marshawn. Translation.. I get paid 5 miilion a year but I don't play as hard as I could or should.....Marshawn comes to the sideline and pukes, I sit on the bench dreaming about a big plate of wings.
  14. Maybe you're on the wrong board???? Lets not compare the Pats* with the Bills defense at stopping opening drives. I talking about a lackluster defeatest attitude that seems to have infected this team coaching staff from the top down. Get on your heals, play soft and don't get beat too badly, maybe we'll get lucky and the other team will give us a win. A team with the biggest O-line there is that can't get 1 yd when they need it, a defense that can have 3rd and 30 and let teams convert time after time. Look at who we have beaten this year, not one good team.We are not moving forward.
  15. Here is my seasonal rant. This coaching staff has had it's three years to get it done. Results .... another losing season. As Bill's fans, can we look back over the last three seasons and say"Well, at least they are learning from their mistake"? I don't think so. Is todays team three years worth of rebuilding better than Mularkeys 04 9-7 team or his 05 5-11 team? How about our O-line and running game ? 04 Willis..........1128 yrds 13TD 05 Willis...........1250 yrds 5TD 07 Marshawn....1115 yrds 7TD 08 Marshawn......875 yrds 7TD Tell me whether our passing game today looks any better than when Kelly Holcombe was doing the dink and dunk or Drew was doing the bombs away? Does our defense look dominating ? The only consistantly good product on the field is Specials Teams. As the Bills struggle through a decade of mediocrity other teams around the league go from worst to first in a single season. What is the secret? Good coaching and better player evaluation. What the problem here? Same as any failing business, we don't hire people with a proven track record. Would you want a brain surgeon because he's interviews well and the nurses liked him even though half his patients died. Would you keep a financial advisor if your investments always lost money. Question; Why would a coach defer on the opening kick off with one off the better return teams in the league? Answer; He is playing not to lose, not, playing to win the game. He expects to fall behind and wants that extra possession to make a comeback. What message does that send to your players? I'm all for giving a second chance if things seems to be moving forward. They are not. So we are still in rebuilding mode. Maybe its time for a coach that wants the ball.
  16. Come on .... It's just like Pro Wrestling all for the show and ratings .Money is king. Buffalo had to do good early to sell those mega dollar Toronto ticks. Dolphins needed a shot in the arm so a 1 and 15 team beats the Pats* , Chargers, and Bills. Nfl network wants top ratings for "Thurday night football" so we have to have two teams tied for first playing ....don't get it yet.... The Cinderella story.. the Undefeated Titans lose to Bret Farce, J-E-T-S play the "come back Cowboys" in the B$G game.
  17. Totally cool idea. Players could where big foam heads like Packers cheese wedges as an example, sorta like the mascots heads but slightly smaller. I'm sure the players would be less likely to be flagged for helmets hits as they wouldn't want to be called out on national tv by name.
  18. As long as he pulls out a win against the Titans in January it's all good!!!!!!!
  19. more random triangles....
  20. YO, MIAMI SUCKS DA BEASTMODE BE BUSTIN OUT DEM FISH HEADS BE DEAD
  21. Stuff like this is another reason why the "Wall" ROCKS and other teams fan boards are just WEAK!
  22. Sorry , I mixed up the Dallas ( to me, me, me, Owens) with the Denver hall of fame running back. I knew what I wanted to type just too excited about the Bills being 3-0.
  23. You're kidding right? Time of possession means everything when you are playing against a powerhouse offensive team. However as has been said before, the hurry up does not mean you don't use up the play clock. It means you get back to the line of scrimage and prevent the defense from substituting players between downs. The other advantages are: giving your QB more time to read the D, and if the O line is disciplined you have a chance to draw more D offsides or neutral zone infractions. I've always liked it , and now with the helmet com. for the QB. seems even better. I believe the helmet com. stays on till the playclock is down to 10 sec. Seems to me their is an advantage there!!!.
