  1. Vick is done .He will have been out of Football 3-4 years by the time he has a chance of reinstatement. What team would want this guys rep on their roster. Sorry "dirt bag" your NFL days got buried with those dogs.
  2. I think we should post all the mock draft together... what say you??
  3. IF JP really loves football he should go CFL , he would tear it up with his mobility and arm. Hey, maybe after few years up north he could come back and play. See Flute and Moon.
  4. Can't you see ...now the pussycat has a teal tongue, not faded glory blue.
  5. DE>OLB>TE>LT>SS because we now have; No pass rush from the ends Keith Ellison 2 H-backs an average RT at LT a back-up SS taking over for a (1st rnd bust on the police sh t list.)
  6. This years draft seems a good chance to fill multiple holes on both sides of the ball with starting quality and impact players . There doesn't seem to be a big drop off in talent across the board as in recent drafts especially in our real areas of need (DE, OLB,TE)as seen by the wide ranging mocks. Adding to that I think the Bills stand an excellent chance of moving back from #11 and still getting the impact players they need this year. If 1 or 2 of the QB's fall to us ( Josh F.) , or if Detroit goes OT in RND 1, there could be a trade with; Denver 12 Wash 13 Jets 17 Tampa 19 Detroit 20 Minn 22 Tenn 30 As GM I wouldn't trade back too far unless trading back up for "our guy" was an option also. Anyway this years draft could prove to be a real nail biter for GM's and pretty entertaining for us junkies.
  7. Everette Brown reminds me of someone, lets see... was it Bruce or Eric ?????
  8. He has been hurt a lot, but I don't think its any chronic injury recurring. It's been, a foot, a knee, a shoulder ect.. Guy has just been snake bit. Does not mean he couldn't play a full season, just very bad luck. He is a pretty good LT when healthy He's still just 29-30 I think so he could still play 3-4 more years. If I was Brandon I'd for sure bring him in for a work out.
  9. It was on the bottom crawl about 9pm tonight. I have not heard a word about McCargo. Roscoe and Kelsey are still dangling. Thinking we get picks in exchange, I don't know. Could be other players also. The young blood in the FO is really shaking this team up this offseason. I hope it works out, can't be lot worse than 7-9 forever. Hey, maybe we will pick first next year, we haven't done that in a while..
  10. Dead wood is a flyin , go Brandon. Doesn't make some recent drafts look all that good, but if this is what it takes to build a winner.... Ko just never lived up to the hype of his rookie year and has been outplayed on the field. If he goes I could see a safety early in 4th. Wonder what Whitner will bring????
  11. In this age of FA and CAP long term no longer applies as the recent past should clearly show. When teams turn over up to a third of their players every year whats the long term atvantage of that. Teams can win 3 games one year and be playoff teams the next. Win now can be the only way to go. The real long term building process should be in getting and keeping the best staff, where there is no cap on pay.
  12. Their ya go , another can't see the forest for the trees . I think I did say I was non partisan on the issue. Think big picture Washington.... same old song and dance. "They" , just want everyone to think, "out with the old in with the new". Term limits, line item veto, sunshine laws( no closed door hearings or meetings except for national defense),concrete maximum campaign funding limits without loopholes, greater restrictions on lobbyists.. just to start.
  13. 21st century news flash!!!! Buffalo and the Niagara frontier will soon be no more than the suburbs of Toronto. Anyone listen to Pres. Obama's meetings with Mexican Pres.??? When talking about flood of illegals across the border, they both refer to it as natural "migratory patterns" of the work force in the "americas" and when taking of trade they invision one great society from Canada's north, south to the Panama canal. This is change you can believe in people ....wake up.. and it is not a party line thing , this is corporate exploitation of the masses just as sure as USSR was government exploitation. Any American that thinks his or her vote has any impact on what happens in Washington is in for a big surprise. All the Dem vs. Rep stuff is just a smoke screen to keep the masses distracted while any rights or wealth we have are stolen.
  14. I'm not Jewish , but I don't see why changing the start time of a game a few hours would be that big a deal. They aren't asking for different game days . They already flex games for the sake of the almighty dollar why not for the "Almighty"? Nuff said!!!
  15. Yep, a "U" grad for sure. Willis , it's raining, time to come inside.
  16. Way to go Lori!!! and I have to believe 9 out of 10 fans at the Ralph games live closer than you do. Sounds like " real fans" in B-lo need a bigger bus to follow you in if they want a "home game" And I'm not buying into the ticket price /work day excuse. Start saving in the piggy, draw straws for the desig. driver and expect to work through a hangover( always easier after a primetime win). Go Bills
  17. I know I'll burn for this but I 've got to say it. If you want an NFL team within a short drive from home then except facts as they are. Maybe they'll be called the "Buffalo Bills traveling show" maybe not. Want a hometeam atmosphere in TO , buy a ticket and drive the 90 miles up the QE. Does anybody on this board really see Erie or Niag. county spending a $1,000,000,000 on a football stadium, how about someone buying a $1,000,000,000 NFL franchise stuck in a terminally ill city, playing in a 40 year old stadium. Sorry, I been a Bills fan for 50 years but nothing lasts forever. So here's to the Bills, and here's to RW for 50 great years and maybe they can win one before they leave for the Great White North. I'll still be a fan because I'm cheering for all the great players that have come and gone on this team, all the ones to come. For the new hope of winning we have every offseason and all the great memories of seasons past. Win or lose Western NY or S.Ontario they will still be the Bills. Now,if they move to LA please delete.,,,,
  18. Agreed, but if you're only in on 3rd and long ect. and in rotation at TE or not at all in a 5 wide. Whats that, 15-20 plays a game? As was said Vrabel seems to do it. His TD pass catching is a matter of record. Barwin seems like a real beast who would probably get off on it.
  19. Since the Bill's have declared the need for DE help and a playmaking TE. Would not Conner Barwin fill both those needs. As a Situational pash rusher you don't need to have years of experiance in a defense or play every down. As a 4.4 forty, 260 # tight end he would demand to be accounted for downfield and should help the run game blocking too. Just a thought, standing by for the heat....
  20. Tic-Toc,Tic-Toc............... it's Friday and Jason still haunts OBD. What , no more from the source deep inside???? Looked for the post but I quess it was deleted or merged. 10 hours and counting down.
  21. And his production as a returner tanked last year.
  22. Not the final anwser but a guard we could get by with , when healthy at least as good as Dockery. The Fins best lineman till he got hurt. The Browns have no need as they seem to have been collecting OL guys for the past couple seasons and are now overstocked so to say. From Bleacher Report: Seth McKinney—two starts at left guard and one start at right guard for Cleveland last season McKinney appears to better against the run than he is in the passing game. On several occasions, I saw McKinney get pushed back, collapsing the pocket. Nonetheless, he rarely lets his man get by him as he squares up well. Against the run, he is more consistent, and occasionally shows excellent power off the line. Like Fraley, he frequently plays hard through the whistle, helping with downfield blocking. McKinney is a solid player who can help in a reserve or spot-starting role.
  23. My feeling is,give up the picks and take a proven player , all things being equal as the saying goes. Who would you want , a young proven star or a wet behind the rookie? Quess it depends where your team is. Draft picks cost less ( except real high picks) but you usually only get 2 good years play( 2 years to learn pro ball) before their rookie contract run out . If the team is just a few players out of the playoffs , heh, mortgage the farm. If the Bills want to win now,are they Listening? Give a good RT and RB some money. Swing a deal for a proven TE, Denver seems to be in a trading mood. Sign a pass rushing DE, there is one in FA with a Pats invite in his pocket. Please don't say you'd rather have Taylor chasing Trent twice a year than teaming with Aaron. Our open guard spot can be filled better than it was last year by Chambers or a late cut. Use the draft to find a replacement for Ellison and depth on the lines.I say this cause LB seems to be a position rookies develope at most quickly . Or we good trade for a bunch of draft picks and start all over again.
