  1. I know some people are so against the Bills right now they think things can not get any worse.

I just watched the "Top 10 Worst Teams" on NFL network and the Buffalo was not one of them.

So, there is always something to be proud of as a Bills Fan.

    Go Marrone and Go Bills.

Let's go make the list of the 10 best teams.

PS. Good luck Levitre, I hope you come back so I hope no one else over pays you.

  2. I want someone else to draft Nassib and then he be so upset he isn't playing for Marrone that he pulls a Payton Manning and refuses to play (put on the hat). The team who drafted him are forced to release him or trade him cheap which allows him to come to Buffalo. After being reunited with his old coach they both light up the league and they become the brady/belichek of the next decade.

  3. I'm sorry but I just watched-fast forwarded thru both NFL AM and NFL Network, both with Stevie, and I was impressed, both with Johnson representing in a fun, smart and professional way as well as the length of airtime given between the 2 shows. If you wanted the Bills to get the airtime and "respect from the league" then 3/6/13 was the day. 2 thumbs up.  I am more of a fan of Stevie as a person more then ever.

  4. It's possible to that Marrone indicated to him his offense uses a tight end very little, (kind of like dJ and CG) so he wants to go where he'll be used.

What does this have to do with the tight ends. Is it possible he was just under used? I do remember thinking and hearing very good things about him. I believe the word "beast" was used. Just like all the others it comes to $$ and how much the Bills and others think he is worth. If it's right then I would love to see him crush some more people.

  5. So a team that is a division winner, had the first spot in the playoffs and was a play or two from the superbowl lets these guys go and we want them?

Dear God, lets try this again... if a great team like that lets them go (other than obvious salary cap reasons) we don't want them. That means they aren't that good anymore because a good team isn't going to let good players go.

    Why is this still missed?

ummm. I've said some stupid things on this board before but nothing this bad I hope.

Good players on a great team can still be better then the best players on a bad team.

  6. You mean #94?

And doesnt he have to buy out the inventory of #94 jerseys if he wants to switch so soon?

    CBF

I know it adds up but I don't see that standing in his way if he does want the number. In his case it may even be considered pocket change. Plus his Christmas list would be all set claiming them as collectors items!! :D

  7. Milwaukee is a huge city, and is only about 1.5 hours away from Green Bay -- making it an easy drive. That population isn't factored into your post, Drewgetz.

Very true, thanks. Yahoo maps has the distance at 1 hour and 53 minutes and is still a good way to haul on a consistent basis, particularly after you account for traffic. BTW, Toronto to Buffalo takes less time and is more then 4x the size of Milwaukee. Granted, there is the passport thing but still...

  8. i said average for depth. That was the question right? Fred to me when healthy is above average. But there have been questions about his health lately, and then who do we have after that? So that was my line of thinking for the depth vote. CJ is definatly above average. I will go to good if he can repeat what he was able to do last year and stay healthy.

i voted average for the 2nd poll. But the poll wasn't about the back up, it was about depth. who do we have after fred? That is the definition of depth is it not?

I agree. Plus, I can't keep some key fumbles from both backs on the goal line out of my mind. We have no one other then the 2 of them therefor depth can not be better then average just due to shear numbers.

  9. Small market teams will never sell out tho. They should move to LA where there is a proven ability to sell out a stadium....

I am from Binghamton, NY. If you know it then you know it is a pretty small city. With the surrounding areas (Vestal, Endicott, Johnson city ect) making up what is known as the Triple Cities or the Greater Binghamton Area. We have a population of 251,725 as of the 2010 census. "Buffalo itself has a population of 261,310 (2010 Census) and the Buffalo–Niagara–Cattaraugus Combined Statistical Area is home to 1,215,826 residents. Green Bay's population was 104,057 and is the principal city of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area, which covers Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto Counties[8] and had a combined population of 282,599 at the 2000 census.[5]Green Bay is home to the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, making it by far the smallest metropolitan area in the USA to host a major professional sports franchise."

Despite my poor quoting ability and not getting all county lines correct, everything came from Wiki, it's evident that there is a small market team like Buffalo and then there is a incredibly small market like Green Bay, about 4 times smaller then the Buffalo area.

If Binghamton were to have an NFL franchise we would have about the same as many potential fans as Green Bay, equal to about 3 full football stadiums worth of people. To have a few hundred year waiting list for season tickets is pretty freaking amazing and shows how far people will travel on a regular basis to see their team. I think it is comparable saying it would be as far aways as Binghamton to Buffalo and this is not even Buffalo territory. I guess I'm just pointing out how incredible it is for Green Bay to have the following they do for as long as they have. I am sleep deprived right now, sorry if this didn't make a whole lotta sense. Oh, and every Packers game at Lambeau Field has been sold out since 1960, again according to Wiki.

  10. It's seems that with the cap the way it is with the Bills having so much more room then the Jets ($20.6M vs $19.4M) and the Bills having a number of the Jets old coaches we would be at an advantage of acquiring a number of Jets players bound to be released. Assuming the players liked their coaches the Bills might get the pick of the litter out of NJ.

Who do you think will be released by the Jets and of them who would you like at OBD?
