An hour long special on NFL network about Andre Reed and his road to Canton. It was long and am sooo happy he finally got in. One of my favorite Bills from the ol' days. Premiers Thursday at 2200 hrs.

My family has been with Directv since 1998 so it's a little easier for people like us I think. We get something free whenever our contract is up. Last year we got the genie with a 2 year contract so no sunday ticket this year. Basically each year you can get something free, could be sunday ticket. Just say that you've been a customer for X amount of years and wish to continue the relationship, what can you do for me, suggest Sunday Ticket. I agree that Directv retention department is the way to go. Say "cancel account" at the voice prompts. I also agree with calling every 3 - 6 months for promotions. I almost always have some sort of movie channel package for free. With that being said the time I got Sunday Ticket for free I said everyone else is getting it for free why not us? Just cost us a 1 year contract.

I was at a game once where I sat on the visitors side and people were in shorts drinking beer. The home side had people in jackets drinking hot chocolate. I ALWAYS sit on the vistors side. I usually can't see the players anyway so it makes little difference to me.

why do they pat down the players upon entering the field?

I didn't ask for Sunday Ticket b/c I wanted the Genie. I got the new Genie with hardware, 4 months Showtime, 6 months starzs, and $10 off for next 12 months. In may case it was sorta earned b/c they jerked me around for 1:40 and I had a right to be frustrated.

This sucks. I wonder if they took cold weather teams into consideration. I have worn cold weather clothes before that had to be taken off as well as extra blankets and hats I didn't wear but glad I had with me. So much for always being a boy scout and going to the game "being prepared".

Personally I think the world is too big now for anything to be offensive. Granted it's really hard to offend me but with so many people in the world we need to just let things go and not take everything so damn personal. I'm curious how many Native Americans who have nothing to gain by the name change find it offensive. (that's rhetorical btw) Also agree with the ridiculousness of Congress getting involved and that the name change, if there is one, should be up to the team. Perhaps one day the federal gov't will copyright "dollar bill" and the Bills will be forced to change their name too. Just as ridiculous in my opinion.
