Could JP be the next great Bills QB?
Drewgetz replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First, there is nothing wrong with hopes and dreams and even a little wishing. Remember wishing for months before Christmas that you would get a Nintendo with Tecmo bowl? Now we are hoping for months in advance for a star QB; nuttin wrong with that. Second, for JP's sake, I sure hope he isn't reading our message board and I have a sneaky suspician that our standards will not affect his game play. We already know he has the "ability" we just need to see if he can show it consistently. Beyond that I agree that this will be an exciting year with lots of ups(oh my god I fell off my chair after I hit my head on the ceilling) and lots of lows (Ouch, I just broke my hand punching the wall). Let the Debating begin...... GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!! -
The game is tonight...

For the Carolina game someone was able to find a streaming broadcast of it. Does anybody know of a broadcast of the Detroit game for us out of towners?? Thanks and GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is everyone so concerned about preseason records. People keep forgetting that preseason doesn't mean a thing even thought it's always being said. Here on the board and announcers as well. I've heard how many times and this goes for any team..."oh, they are 0-2 in preseason, boy are they in trouble." I think during the 4 superbowl years (seems like a lifetime ago) we might have won 1 or 2 preseason games total, most years we went 0-4 (or was it only 3 games back then?) Anyway just wanted to throw that out there for anybody out there to chew up and spit out.

I remember that game. I still have it on tape just for that play. He threw that pick in the endzone. The Falcon DB ran it back on the sideline and at around the 25 yard line Jim tackled the guys kneecapp with his helmet. The guys leg flew around like it was only attached by his sock, flip flap flop. It was amazing. Might have to dig that tape out when I get home. I almost remember the guys name too...

lmao...you got my vote

I always thought that since Vincent is pretty much done and he knows it, the Bills should offer him a coaching job. Go right from playing to coaching the team you just played for.
-
I just like using the word facetious.
-
Ok...so reading a play by play is more substantial then replaying the video of a play over and over again!? I sure hope you were being facetious.
-
Thanks all, see ya next week...
-
keep in mind folks that...when Levy was coach...during the superbowl years we hardly ever, if ever, won a preseason game.
-
Doesn't anyone else see it?? Levy is back with the Bills... I mean we are just going back to the days when Bills are a 4th quarter team. Play great, when it's late!!
-
TOUCHDOWN!!! it's official...14 -10 the "helicopter" is the new move
-
can we just concentrate on JP's legs or maybe give up his 2 arms and give him 2 extra legs.... so far I think they have been the most productive tonight.
-
Fumble recovery!!!!
-
Did maghee play at all tonight?? Ryan's leg is huge!! makes no difference, good or bad my motto will always stay the same... GO BILLS!!!

IMO TD is def the start of the cancerous blob that spread out as time went on, inflicting MM with his horrendous play calling and personnel mgmt. It still burns my A** he pushed Rusty Jones out, he was the best in the business and all he wanted to do was what he new best but MM decided to "promote" him and bring in his own guy. but I digress... from there the cancer spread to the extremities causing Moulds and big Sam to question leadership, and that is a tear in the fabric of what it means to be a team that is not easily mended. Who was the biggest cancer last year...as a player? I would have to say Moulds. His attitude in the end was very disappointing and not the consummate professional we all grew to know and love. I don't see me ever wearing his jersey again, I'm going back to my ol' reliable; Bryce Paup. "Paup 'em!" PS. I second no comment on Clements

That would go for just about every journalist covering the bills...at least it seems that way.

Preference for Good QB brain or Good QB Athletics
Drewgetz replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even better: Dan Marino: Very Smart Micheal Vick: Very athletic Who would you pick?? -
Can our receiver depth possibly as bad...
Drewgetz replied to Drewgetz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, the QB play will make or break this receiving corps if not the whole team. (and the O-Line could make or break the QB for that matter) I just don't see how receiving could be considered a weakness is all. -
Lack of talented depth??? I thought we had so much depth that whoever gets released could be a starter on some teams or at least a 3rd reciever easily. Am I mistaken??

Holcomb just knocked himself out.

New idea for curbing Oline Penalties
Drewgetz replied to Drewgetz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's not a bad a idea..except my fraturnity would have gone broke buying hats and some of the guys would have had to grow more then one head. -
Link I got the problem solved for O-Line penalties. If a lineman is getting too many penalties (yes one is too many but this is pretty drastic for just one penalty) we make the player wear a t-shirt with Fat Bennie's face on the front and on the back pu the words "Here I go again...". That player then has to wear that shirt day and night until he stopp making stupid penalties. That should take care of the problem quick.

Problems with the Bills?
Drewgetz replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with someone when they asked who was getting the penalties; especcially on the line. Is it first stringers or farther down the depth chart? Is it the same person over and over again; could someone be trying to revive the ghost of fat Benny? Does anybody who goes to the camps tell us any of this? Granted, penalties suck and in a perfect Bills world there wouldn't be any. It would be nice if it was only one or two guys that the coaches can single out and make them wear shirts with bennie anderson's face on the front until they straighten themselves out, kind of a punishment by embarresment, like when we had to stick gum on the end of our nose in grade school. (I actually had to do that once )
