Tie game late in the 4th quarter, BIlls cornerback(I believe it was Thomas Smith, not sure though) knocks the Patriots wide receiver out, Bills pick the ball up that is just laying on the ground for an apparent go ahead TD, the football laying on the turf barely grazing the NE players leg, the knocked out NE players head rolls on the out of bounds line. Refs review it & said because the NE players head was touching the out of bounds line the ball was ruled out of bounds. Game goes to OT, & NE RB & former bill Antwan Smith runs a 50 yard TD run for the game winner.

Bills had a better team the Phins back then. I don't think anybody could say Kelly was a better QB than Marino though. When we did run into them in the playoffs we usually got them up here(although we did play the AFC championship game down there one year) & 30 & younger crowd probably don't remember this but we were dam near impossible to beat at home in those glory years.

I don't know man, 2 guys on my softball team ended up quitting the post office last year for different jobs. They said they couldn't take it anymore. From the 7 day a week work schedule(yes they deliver on Sundays now) to the constant hustling to get their routes done, I think there is better options. Also they both worked there for over 8 years & were still considered temporary & got no benefits. The US Postal office is a dying business, didn't they lose close to a billion dollars last year? They treat their employees like crap. You should be thankful you retired when it was a decent place to work at. I would find a nice corner bar & become a bartender. Use that money for spending/recreational money & the pension to pay the bills.

The other argument for the 49ers is they always had another good NFC team giving them battles(Giants/Redskins/Bears of the 80's/Cowboys of the early 90s). The NFC was very top heavy in the 80's/90's. There were 2 or 3 very good teams in that conference every year.

Playing around with the ESPN playoff machine it does seem like it would be more beneficial for us that the Chiefs beat the Chargers Saturday night. Three way tie with the chiefs at 9-7 & it says we are the odd team out, three way tie with the Chargers & they are actually the odd team out.

Maybe it is my positive nature but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

They do talk about loyalty & doing things the Patriot way a lot up in Foxboro. The thing with Tenn is their point differential is horrible, which is a good indicator they are not as good as their record suggests. I could see them losing all three games.
