  1. Dont get me wrong, I would love it if we drafted Willis but I think your underestimating what a guy like Lynch could do for the offense.
  2. I love it when loud mouth jerkoffs like you & Obie spout off about how a guy like Lynch is not a difference maker when you probably have not watched a Pac 10 team outside of USC in your entire life.
  3. You dont watch much college football if you dont think Lynch is a difference maker & he is certainly 3 notches above anything the Jets have & that includes the newly aquired Thomas Jones. The guy does it all.
  4. A Smith was drafted around the 23rd or 24th pick & he was about 40 years old when we drafted him. If AD is there at 12, we better pick him unless some team throws us a kings ransom to trade down.
  5. Remember back then keep in mind that the stadium held 81,000 & the fans at that stage were rather spoiled. It was the tail end of our run, the team made 2 super bowls the prior years & backed into the playoffs as a wild card. I know right now most fans would give their first born for a wild card team, but back then the bills had a winning atmosphere & a wild card was deemed a disapointment.
  6. Me & my friends were 19yrs old at the time. That was the first year we got season tickets. We sat in the tunnel side endzone back then. For some reason the lady who took our order gave us tickets in the last row upper deck. Needless to say we were not to happy. When it was halftime - down 28-3 3 of us wanted to leave. The fourth guy said "come on, we spent $30 on these(which was alot of money for college kids working 15 hrs a week) lets just stay for the 3rd quarter. When that guy int recihs pass to go up 35-3 some of the people started flocking to the gates. I remember when K Davis scored the bills first td, we looked down at the stadium(we were in the top row) my friend looked at me in disgust & said "you know the pathetic thing about this whole situation is that 60,000 morons in this stadium actually think we could win this game". Funny thing being at the top row, you could see outside into the parking lots & the fences, when the bills started coming back, people were just hopping the fences & the security were pretty much helpless because there were so many people doing it. Man what a game, what an atmosphere, I could remember it like it was yesterday.
  7. Ah, I forgot, Article 47, Section 10, Line 28 of the TBD Message Board Handbook: "if you dont have at least 6,000 posts, your opinions & posts dont mean sh*t. I stand corrected.
  8. Geez, everybody needs to lighten up a little. I think everybody is being a little harsh on the guy. It wasnt the most polite comment to say but Ive seen 10 times worse on this board without anybody even saying anything. It is not like he insulted her first born.
  9. I would like to open up against Cardinal Ohara. They lost their top running back & 5 defensive starters to graduation. I hope we get them early.
  10. 1 winning season in the last 100 yrs does not make a college a winner. Rutgers sucks.
  11. Have you even watched him play the last 3 yrs. The guy sucks.
  12. Why bother, the guy is not good anymore & not worth the hassle. Let him finish his career somewhere else.
  13. His ypc is south of 10yrds. I think that is all you need to know in determining if he still has it or not.
  14. Stupid ass response. Losman is the leader of this team now. Yeah lets bring back a 32 year old malcontent that tried to undermine Losman's job 2 yrs ago. Great idea.
  15. I dont get this kind of response. Why because he was a bill for 10yrs. At this stage of the game, the bills o is built for speed. I rather just go with evans, price & reed with parrish as your 4th. Moulds can not get any separation.
  16. Not if the DT from Louisville is still on the board.
  17. I love your logic. Bottom line is if Peterson gets by Cleveland, he has a chance to fall to #12. That would be amazing. Although, I wouldnt mind trading down a few spaces & grabbing lynch either. Unlike alot of people, Im not so sure their is a tremendous dropoff between the 2 players.
  18. LF has a career record as a bill of 35-45. Somehow I think the bills will find the guys to replace such so called solid leadership. People have got to start accepting one thing. There is a new sheriff in town & the bills arent building their team around older players that are on the downside of their career anymore. This team is now Losman's & Evan's & Whitner's & Simpson's team. They are going to be the leaders now. We lost for years doing it the other way. I like the fact that we are building the nucleaus of the team around young guns like we have.
  19. I think you will see them really competing this year. One thing noone is accounting for is that the younger players are going to get better. There is not going to be a learning curve for JP this year, the players will be more comfortable in the system. I think if the breaks go right & we have a decent draft, I think we are a 10 to 11 win team this year. As far as the departures, I could care less if we loss Fletcher, I would of liked to kept Clements, but at that price, it was unrealistic, & as far as Willis goes, my eyes really started to open up on him @ the Indy game when it looked like Atrain was running better. He is an average back, it is no big loss. If by chance the bills could pick up Peterson or Lynch, you will see the difference between these 2 RBs compared to Willis.
  20. The one thing with FSU is out of all the bubble teams that didnt make it, I think they are the ones that could actually do the most damage. They would of been a dangerous 12 seed for any team to face. That Thorton is terrific & their PG is very good also. The teams that got jobbed the most in order, Drexel, Florida State, Syracuse & last Kansas State. Take those 4 teams & they could replace Stanford, Illinois, Arkansas & Purdue.
  21. It never ceeses to amaze me east coast byass against west coast teams. Half these people that make ignorant statements about the west coast teams especially the Pac 10 probably have not watched a game in this conference outside of USC.
  22. The guy ran for the most yards in league history. I dont know what your definition of "special" is but for me that stat pretty much sums it up for a RB in any era.
  23. Lynch is an upgrade over Mcgahee. Who knows, maybe we could trade back into the first round to get Willis. Or we could take willis with the 12th pick & trade back into the low 20s & get Lynch if he is still available.
  24. Im pretty excited about our offseason so far.
