  1. Although I agree Tedford has had some rbs flop in the NFL, could we please stop with the east coast bias & the Pac 10 doesnt play any defense crap. They play defense just about as well as any other bcs conference in the country maybe outside of the SEC.
  2. If you tried to remove my hat without my consent I would shove my hat right up your ass. What are you some kind of tough guy?
  3. Go to the web site for the sabres tickets for friday. I guaranty you will not be able to touch 100 level tickets for less then $150 a piece. Im going to go up there friday after work. I would be very surprised if I pay more then $100. I will let you know how it turns out monday. People pay the extra money on ebay because they like knowing they have tickets in hand & dont have to worry about it. Me, I dont care, if I cant get tickets I will just go back to the bar & drink there. Case in point, my friend got tickets for $120 on ebay last sat, for 300 level, I got tickets for $100 for 100 level. You just got to wait until 5 minutes before faceoff. Scalpers start scrambling.
  4. why would he be perfect for this offense?
  5. I highly doubt there are going to be three trades in the 1st 10 picks. Here is my mock: 1.) Raiders - Russell 2.) Tampa - Calvin Johnson (trade up with Detroit) 3.) Cleveland - Brady Quinn - The only way they pass on Quinn is that Romeo Crennel is worried about his job & needs production out of his 1st rounder this year. In that case they take AP, Im sticking with Quinn for now. 4.) Detroit - Joe Thomas 5.) Arizona - Okoye 6.) Washington - Gaines Adams 7.) Minnesota - Landry 8.) Atlanta - J Anderson 9.) Miami - Alan Branch 10.) Houston - Hall 11.) SF - Willis 12.) Bills - Adrian Peterson. & Marv gives the big FU to that Old Prick AJ Smith.
  6. The 2nd is too high for hunt. I would rather take Pitman in the 2nd if we are going to do that.
  7. Im going to give people some advice. Dont go to ebay or stub hub to buy bills/sabres tickets unless you want to pay premium pricing. Your better off at the bills/dallas game to just go to the game without any tickets & seek out a local scalper. I guaranty you will not pay more then 10-20 dollars over face value. You may not get 10 tickets together but so what Just breakoff in groups of 4 or 5, you still will be able to tailgate together. Perfect example of this, I went to the sabres game last saturday(game 2). My wife & I got up to Pearl Street at 4:30, got a nice bar spot, she basically watched me drink for 3 hrs & at 7:15 I told her to hold the bar spot & while I go & try to get tickets. I got 2 tickets for $100 each/ 100 level 5 rows from the glass. The price on the tickets were $180 but I think season ticket holders were able to purchase them for about 1/2 that. Even so, it beat the h*ll out of paying the rates going on ebay that afternoon for $250-$300 per ticket. You just got to be patient & not worry about having the tickets in your hand until game time. My wife was so happy I got the tickets she wasnt even upset with me about drinking so much at Pearl Street. Those micro brews hit you like a ton of bricks.
  8. I totally agree with this. Turner could cut wrong in a non contact drill in training camp & blowout his knee. Why would you want to wait a year when if traded a guaranteed 17-20 million is likely sitting on the table for you this year.
  9. I dont know, we could probably get a guy like Timmons or Beason in the 2nd round or even trade back into the 1st round to grab Poz(although, I think that is highly unlikely). It is just not the end of the world if we dont get Turner. Chargers asking price is way too much right now.
  10. Ginn @ 12 is an interesting idea. The reports are he is not a polished receiver but from what I saw of him the last few years he looked pretty good to me. There are few receivers that have the ability to take over games. I think he maybe one of them. I dont know how a secondary would account for the speed coming @ you with him & evans @ the wideouts. With that being said, I think willis is the way to go.
  11. Totall agree with this post. Look, Im pretty confident that either Willis, Peterson or Okoye is going to be there @ 12. If Peterson falls, you grab him no matter what, if AP is gone, then you move on to Willis or Okoye. Grab a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  12. I have to agree with this. I remember when Miami traded for Culpepper, everybody was saying it was a great move & this may put them over the top etc... I remember thinking, before he got injured with Minn, he was having one of the worse years a starting qb could have. I dont remember the exact stat, but I remember being pretty bad. In a way, this move by Miami, really set this franchise back a few years, kinda like the bledsoe trade did for us. Hopefully, the phins are in the cellar for the rest of the decade.
  13. How was I spreading ignorance. I just stated a fact that Cutler has never been on a winning program. Fair or not, that is a monkey he has to get off his back. Maybe if he could of beat powerhouses like Middle Tennesee State Vanderbilt would of been bowl eligable one of his years. Your the one that is ignorant comparing Losman to guys like Ramsey & King. & before you startup with the Losman sucks chants, try watching a bills game first before you starting shooting your mouth off. Losman is light years ahead of where Cutler is right now & I got news for you, noone is scared of the big bad broncos like they used to be. Noway Cutler comes up to Orchard Park for Opening Day & comes out of here with a win. If the game was going to played halfway thru the season, I would be alot more worried. In fact out of all the bills games this year besides Miami, Im most confident the bills will win the opener.
  14. Sept. 9 DENVER BRONCOS - Win Sept. 16 @ Pittsburgh Steelers - Win Sept. 23 @ New England Patriots - Loss Sept. 30 NEW YORK JETS - Win Oct. 8 DALLAS COWBOYS - Win Oct. 21 BALTIMORE RAVENS - Win Oct. 28 @ New York Jets - Loss Nov. 4 CINCINNATI BENGALS - Loss Nov. 11 @ Miami Dolphins - Win Nov. 18 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - Win Nov. 25 @ Jacksonville Jaguars - Loss Dec. 2 @ Washington Redskins - Win Dec. 9 MIAMI DOLPHINS - Win Dec. 16 @ Cleveland Browns - Win Dec. 23 NEW YORK GIANTS - Win Dec. 30 @ Philadelphia Eagles - Loss 11-5
  15. Yeah let me guess you were one of those losers that couldnt find a job in buffalo & moved down south. Well it sucks to be you tonight!!! We may only make $5 an hr delivering pizzas & all live in apartments that look like abandon bridges but hey @ least we could watch our beloved sabres tonight. Have fun in Nags Head jerkoff!!! Oh crap, I just remembered I didnt have enough money to pay the cable bill this month.
  16. I never said he was nothing to worry about. I just said he played average last year. From what I seen, I think the bills have good chance of beating denver, especially because the game is up here in buffalo. BTW, I watched almost all of that Arizona game. That throw was impressive. I also watched him in their season finalle against the 49ers & when his team needed him to make a play with the playoffs on the line he couldnt do it.
  17. The last straw with me on Bledsoe was when he threw that int to Troy Brown in that sunday night game against the pats. The thing was he was only throwing a 4yrs down & out to moulds & brown was 2yrds behind moulds. Well, bledsoe put it 2yrds behind moulds right into browns chest. I mean come on, a JV qb on anybody's local high school team could complete that pass 9 out of 10 times, but not Bledsoe. F*ck him.
  18. I watched Cutler a few times last year. He looked nothing better then average & at times looked horribly below average which is not that uncommon for a guy with only 5 starts. It tooked Losman a year & a 1/2 to look comfortable with our offense(not counting his 1st year, he was injured. The thing I didnt like about Cutler coming out of the draft is that he was never a winner in college. Say what you want about how horrible of a program Vanderbilt is etc... but there is something to be said about a qb playing in a major conference that sticks around for 4yrs & cant even take his team to a bowl game. Right now, I would take Losman over him any day of the week.
  19. I agree with this post. You will pay a fortune for Pats tickets. Me & my friends also do a road trip every year. We try to do different stadiums but we always end up in Miami every other year. If you do go to Miami, do not buy tickets thru their ticket office. Just buy them from scalpers at the game. We never pay more then $20 a ticket. Last time we went we paid $20 for tickets at the 50 yard line, about 20 rows up. If the phins are as bad as I think they are going to be, people will be giving tickets away at the game. Plus there usually are about 15-20 thousand bills fans their so noone starts anything with you. All in all, sun, beach, the women, the clubs, golf, tough to beat it.
  20. I love it. Every year this happens. We know the teams we are playing as soon as the regular season ends but as soon as the schedule comes out everybody is like oh man we have a tough schedule. Strength of sched means nothing because it was from the year before. Who would of thought that the saints would of been good last year? Bottom line is every team in our division plays the same teams besides 2 games. We have the same sched as everybody else does in our division.
  21. We will beat the crap out of them up here.
