  1. That is an interesting point. The way they have the electronic tickets now pretty much has eliminated the scalper at the stadium. Even this weeks game, a hot ticket, if you go on vivid seats/stub hub, there are seats available all over the stadium. The fees they charge are ridiculous too. For a pair of $110 seats($220 all together) your paying almost $80 in fees. That is highway robbery. Prices are dropping & I think they will continue to drop as we get closer to Sunday.
  2. F*ck, I am sorry I even opened this thread. This sounds excruciating. Good luck to the OP, hope you feel better soon.
  3. Not saying it can't happen but I have never seen this happen while waiting to go in & I have been to over 200 home bills games in my life.
  4. They very rarely asked BM to throw downfield in that offense. I had a lot of concerns about Allen also. I would of took Rosen over Allen. I questioned his accuracy. But....he has shown me enough that I am confident I was wrong in my assessment of him, his tangibles are off the chart & his ceiling is extremely high. I think we finally got our QB.
  5. Coming out of college Mayfield threw an absurd amount of passes within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage at Oklahoma. I think it was something like 80% of his passes. That always concerned me about him.
  6. This is a perfect example of how WNY weather gets exaggerated. It was 37 degrees that day, not 10 degrees. Big difference.
  7. I went to visit my friend who moved out to Orange County last year. He bought a 3 bedroom townhouse paid $560M for it. I have been to NYC many times & they have nothing on the traffic in SoCal. Ridiculous. No matter what time of day you went out there were traffic jams both ways. We went to Santa Monica Pier one day, I think from his map quest it stated it was 28 miles away. It took us over 2 hours to get home. Visited Hollywood one day. There were some really shady parts there. Homeless people line up all the way down a few streets in tents. I never seen anything like it. Huntington Beach was awesome(I wouldn't mind living there) but for the most part the area was dirty & not impressive. California is a sh*thole imo with natural disasters looming over the people's head all year round(mudslides, earthquakes, forest fires etc....) . The ocean looked dirty & cold(I would never let my kids swim in there.) People from California think it is the greatest place in the world because they have the nicest weather in the country. But if you take the weather factor out of it, it really is a lousy place to live.
  8. Agreed, but weird thing happen in November. A lot would have to break right though for them to get in.
  9. It is still very early & there is a ton of football left to be played. Crazy things happen in November. ND got their loss out early in the season. Kelly just became a big Georgia fan because they need them to keep winning.
  10. I have watched Rodgers a bit the first three weeks & he doesn't look good at all imo. He is not the same QB he was even 2-3 years ago. Hopefully he gets knocked out of the league & the Packer fans know what it feels like to patiently wait for the next franchise QB to don the Packer Uniform. They have been spoiled with Favre & Rodgers.
  11. They have actually played teams that are a combined 1-8 as the Gmen won yesterday. Could only play teams on your schedule & this isn't college football where style points counts. BTW, the Pats have played teams that are a combined 0-9. I see no one apologizing for their record. We will see what happens Sunday, I like our chances.
  12. I was thinking the same thing or at least asking for a retainer fee upfront.
  13. UB's problems go way further than just Tyree leaving. Was it a big blow? Sure, but this team is devoid of talent right now. They loss so much from last year. This will be a rebuilding season & hopefully better days will be ahead in the next few years.
  14. How can you not like Joe Tessitore. I put right up there with Kevin Harlan, Gus Johnson & Ian Eagle as top play by play guys.
  15. You obviously are not a degenerate gambler like some of us are on this board.
  16. The Bills seem like they have a likeable team & they are easy to route for. You will see this as they will get more & more national attention if they keep winning. Like Jim Rome once said "the NFL is so much better when the Bills are good." With that being said & I speak for 95% of NFL fans, I wish the Patriots just go away. They are not likeable & they make the NFL very predictable. I always think at this day & age it must be boring to be a NE fan. I have 2 friends that moved to Boston years ago & they always tell me the fans don't even really get into it & they treat the regular season & even the playoffs as kinda like an extended version of preseason. They don't really get into it until the week of Super Bowl Sunday. Where is the fun if you can not even enjoy the ride? That attitude is Incomprehensible to us Bills fans but when expectations are so high it is what it is I guess. With that being said, I wouldn't wish on any NFL fan base what we have went thru since Kelly retired. It has been a long 20 years. Hopefully better days are ahead.
  17. Agreed, if he stays healthy, Beasley will have 80 catches this year
  18. One of my best friends went to Pitt for college & he has a bunch of friends that are Steeler fans. He tells me they have been telling him all summer the Steelers are going to be a dumpster fire this year & if they were smart they would of blown the whole thing up this past offseason including getting rid of Big ben. They said word around town is that Ben doesn't really want to play anymore, has a bunch of nagging injuries from taking a beating the last 15 years & was seriously thinking about retiring after last season until the steelers front office talked him out of it. Take it for what it is worth but that is what his friends have told him.
  19. Excellent post, it is not Dabol's fault they kept shooting themselves in the foot. Maybe McDermott finally realizes he needs to run a real NFL offense to win in this league instead of going for the 3 yards & a cloud of dust crap that we have seen for over the years. I thought Allen looked way more comfortable in the pocket then he did last it year. it was encouraging.
  20. I like the Illini -20.5 over Ucon this weekend. I also kind of like Texas getting +5 against LSU. Tom Herman is 13-2 ATS in his coaching career as an underdog.
  21. Man that looks awesome, well done sir, well done.
  22. I was a bit young to fully appreciate that Miami 1980 game. I was only 7. I do remember my dad listening to the game on the radio in the kitchen & when it was over he started crying. To this day, it is the only time I ever seen my dad cry. For me it was Kelly's first game, 1986, my dad took me to that game. I was at a few Bills games before that but it was the first time I really seen the crowd jacked up. It was a sight to see. The Bills loss but Kelly was terrific that day & I remember my dad telling me on the ride home "we got our Quarterback."
