  1. What could you of possibly said that was bad enough about the uniforms to get you suspended. That is bizarre.
  2. I will tell you one thing, my son is a sophomore in High School, the kids still wear Jordan shirts/sneakers/shorts etc...… That absolutely amazes me that kids today want to wear his stuff when they never even seen him play. Brady can win as many super bowls as he possibly can, but there will never be another individual that has as strong of a brand as MJ.
  3. I could definitely see that happening, although I think we win at least one of the Baltimore/Pitt/Dallas games.
  4. Win the next three & we could pretty much relax until January. It would take an epic failure to not make the playoffs after being 9-2.
  5. He said he actually feels bad for Taggart, saying he is one of the most classiest guys in college football, and doesn't deserve the way his team embarrasses him. I guess Taggart has got to take some responsibility though, culture starts from the top. FSU boosters must have some deep pockets, I think the buyout is $15 million, plus reloading & bringing in a new coach. If they go after a guy like Meyer, it is going to cost another 6 - 7 million a year. I think FSU unless they could land a guy like Meyer, needs to rip this program down and build it back up. Whoever you hire you have to give the guy 5 years to get his people in place. Their will be some ugly seasons the next few years but it is what it is. I am not sure the boosters/alumni have the stomach for it though. I remember they tried to do that at the U with Shannon & eventually the losing got old & he was canned. Funny but they still haven't gotten back to the U status. These things take time but everybody wants instant gratification.
  6. Your dreaming, they are never getting rid of the conferences. Plus the way you have it schedule, too much of a schedule imbalance, top 4 teams play each other twice & bottom 4 play each other twice, I mean come on that is not fair. Penalizing a team like that because they are good. I will chalk this one up as another boneheaded idea. ?
  7. I am not sure if anybody caught Herbstreit Saturday, but he went off on Florida St. Saying how far that program has fallen & that their irrelevant, saying all those kids want to do is fight & talk trash. It was a pretty brutal assessment of the program. He was dead on though imo.
  8. Yeah that is the one. Girls were much better looking, at least they were 25 years ago.
  9. I had a good friend that went to Notre Dame when we were younger so we always took a road trip out there for a football game every year. It was always a good time but I do agree that the SEC Tailgates would be way better. I have never liked Notre Dame so really didn't have a routing interest in the game. In fact my third time there we went to see them Boston College, Notre Dame was big favorites, we got really drunk the night before. 2 minutes into the game, we are standing on those wooden bleachers in the student section, my head is pounding, they are doing all these stupid chants & cheers, I looked at my friends & said "I have enough, I am leaving." Took a nice big fat cr*p in the art museum, beautiful bathroom, noone in the place, might of been the greatest sh*t of my life & walked around the campus for the next 3 hours. Great way to spend a fall Saturday in South Bend, it was definitely the right call leaving the game. BTW, from what I remember the girls on that campus were UGLY, there was an all girls college right by Notre Dame that had much better looking girls. Forgot the name of the college.
  10. The ACC is going to e a bit down this year I think so you could e right. Virginia will be nowhere near where they have been the past two years, Duke is a bit overrated imo, if people are expecting to see Williamson/Barrett Part 2 with these new recruits they will be sorely disappointed, UNC will be tough with landing that Anthony kid, NC State will be decent. The conference is not ging to be as top heavy as it has been in the past.
  11. Have a friend that I had a few beers with over the weekend that is pretty close to Niagara BB program & that is exactly what went down, messing around with a coed. I don't get people sometimes. This guy is just starting out coaching, I am not sure if another school will or won't give him another chance down the line but he just put a serious black mark on his resume. Totally agree, I love college basketball. Starts next week. BTW, I think Xavier is going to have a good year.
  12. Your wrong about the ##1 team should be Ohio St. LSU should be the clear cut #1 team right. Noone has had a tougher schedule then them with A&M, Texas, Florida, Auburn. Alabama hasn't played anybody yet but I tend to agree with you this maybe Saban's most dangerous offense he has had since coaching there. Their defense scares me a bit because they are so young. Look for the LSU/Bama to be a high scorer, I am going to throw some money on the over.
  13. yeah they did, it was in a monsoon though, neither team could throw the ball.
  14. This was a typical example of an organization outsmarting itself & falling in love with a guy's tangibles. Watch the film, Mitch was not good at UNC. I had my doubts on mahomes has he is so unorthodox, but Watson was the play. He had way more experience than MT & the guy was a winner.
  15. Right I should of said Redskins +460. A minor technicality in my post. Don't try to educate me on gambling, I don't know much but I do know the finer points of handicapping.
  16. They are not trying to survive Augie, they are huge here in WNY. I thought the apology was a bit bizarre too & not necessary.
  17. Yeah I have squeezed one or two in my day.
  18. Squeezing her boob is not the worst thing that could happen to your wife. Who knows she might even enjoy it.
  19. Bills are 10.5 point favorites, which is a pretty big line by NFL standards. Money line for the Bills to win -460, which means if you put down $100 on the Skins to win(with no points) & they do you get $460. If you are so confident the Bills will lose Sunday, you should play the money line on Washington.
  20. Okay, so the Calendar turns to November this weekend. Right now this is how it is looking. Big 10 - Ohio St, Penn St & Minn all control their own destiny, win out & your in. - No other teams have a chance Big 12 - Baylor - with upcoming games against TCU, OU & Texas + BIG 12 championship game if they run the table they are in. - OU needs some help, but weird things happen in November. ACC - Clemson - it is simple, they win out they are in. If they slip up they are out. They will be a 15+ favorite in the rest of the games they play, I imagine they are winning out. I am counting them in. SEC - LSU, Florida, Georgia, Alabama. it is simple. Knockout game this week with Georgia/Florida. Winner needs to win out including SEC championship & they are in. Alabama has a game again LSU in 2 weeks. Winner has inside track, loser especially if it is LSU with their SOS, if they win out they could get in. Alabama if they lose that game & end up winning out to go 11-1 I want to say they probably get in because of their name but imo their schedule has been horrible this year. I would leave them out but I know that probably won't happen. PAC12 - Oregon & Utah. If they both win out & meet in Pac 12 Championship, I think the winner especially if it is Oregon gets in. It took a total meltdown the first game of the year for the Ducks to lose, otherwise they would have the inside track right now. ****SMU - sitting on an undefeated season, haven't been ranked since before the death penalty. Would make a great story. I don't see anyway this could happen but I will be pulling for it. Right now I will be shocked if Ohio St does not run the table. No offense to PSU or Minn, but I just don't see anybody from the Big10 beating the Bucks. So imo, we got 2 spots spoken for in Clemson & OSU. The 3rd spot will go the SEC champion. So realisticly imo there is only one spot available. It should be interesting who gets it. **I will state if history is any indication, weird thing happen in November. So who knows.
  21. Holy sh8t, have you watched the Redskins play this year. Your acting like they got everything figured out. They are in far worse shape than the Bills & the Bills are at home, that is what makes me think that game is winnable. I will get back to you next Monday morning. I will be shocked if they lose this game, in fact I will be shocked if they don't go at least 3-1 in their next four games.
  22. Back in my late 20s & 30s I would definitely get in a fight over that, now that I am 46 I would probably laugh it off. The problem with getting in a fight nowadays, you think your getting into a good old fashion fist fight & the guy pulls a gun & shoots you. Like I said, I would probably laugh it off, I would hope my wife too would have a sense of humor about it but I could be wrong on that count.
  23. get the hell out of here with that crap. They are 5-2, anybody before the season started would of signed up for that. They had a bad game yesterday, it happens, especially to younger teams. It was a perfect storm yesterday. A talented but underachieving Eagles team, came in here after being embarrassed last week on SNF, with their season on the line. I am not going to read too much into this loss. Now if they lose next week, we got problems. The Redskins are awful, if the Bills don't win this game I will be shocked.
  24. They already have there own version of Tom Brady but he is 15 years younger & much better looking.
  25. Agreed, it is just not my scene. They get mad when you standup, you don't get the full sense of the stadium atmosphere sitting. I see why people that could afford to sit their regularly do it, as the nonsense is really cut out of the equation but I just don't think you get the full game day experience sitting in the clubs. I am not a guy that goes overboard at the games, although I was a seat banger back in my 20's in the late 90s so I do sympathize with the OP. ☺️
