  1. I watched this guy play quite a bit last year. I think the only reason he came out was because he knew Mccoy/Tebow/Bradford were staying in school & the qb class was weak. I think this guy has bust written all over him. Not really crazy about Stafford either. Guy has got a cannon for an arm but he really was not all that productive in College. He was really hyped coming into Georgia but I have never been really impressed with the guy.
  2. Your posts usually make some sense relatively speaking to some of the crap that is usually posted on this board but I nominate this post for dumbest post of the day.
  3. I read a report where it said Sanchez had alot of trouble throwing outside the hash marks. Anybody that picks Sanchez with a top 10 pick is making a big mistake. I would not take him in the first round.
  4. He was shot 4yrs ago. But I guess if a guy like Losman with all his shortcomings can stick around in the league for 5yrs anything is possible at the qb position in the NFL.
  5. Hey I have been called alot worse. I could live with that.
  6. He was right about quite a bit of things last year. Some people ridiculed him & when he was proven right(about the stroud trade) they were not even man enough to issue him an apology. If you are not a longtime member @ TBD that is how your treated on around here by some of the originals.
  7. This post was about Losman returning to the Bills. What else are we supposed to talk about in this post. The Chinese new year?
  8. I never said the bills troubles are behind him once Losman leaves. & you ever think for a moment that in the NFL you can not base your offense around rollouts because most of the dlinemen & LBS in this league could hit like mack trucks & could run real fast & it is probably a good way to get your QB killed. & besides, the one time they did call a rollout last year Losman managed too F&ck that up too & gave the game away to the jets.
  9. I do not know why anyone would ever call Losman a gunslinger. When the guy throws for under 200 yards in 26 of his career 34 starts, he clearly is not a gunslinger.
  10. That is exactly my point. It costs so much to support NYC that I really think the rest of the state gets neglected. How many millions of dollars has the state given the mets & the yankees to build the state of the art stadiums? You think the state would ever throw that kinda coin at the bills to get them a new stadium. Let NYC be their own state.
  11. It was reported on 55 today saying the bills offered a 5yr contract for $20 mill. That is not substantial. Greer is set to get double that in free agency.
  12. Losman does not fit any system. The guy stinks.
  13. One of the big problems with NYS is New York City. Everybody's tax dollar no matter where you live in the state goes to support NYC. When you have 14 million people to support in the city & the near surrounding areas it puts a drain on the rest of the state. I will never understand how WNY has Niagara Falls next to it, which generates a ton of natural electricity however WNYers pay the highest electric bills in the state. How is that fair? NYC & the tribourough area should be it's own separate state.
  14. Why cant they cut him because of the cap hit? You do realize we are 29 million dollars under the cap dont you?
  15. Funny you mentioned Poz. I was going to tell Poz fan that he could add his boy to that list.
  16. I dismissed that article as nonsense as soon as I read an owner that takes chances & will what it takes to win.
  17. You holding him accountable. That will teach him. Do not take everything you read on a message board so seriously.
  18. This has got to be one of the dumbest statements I hear on this board. Teams change year to year, who knows what teeam are going to be good next year. Would anybody predict last year that Atlanta/Baltimore?Miami would all be in the playoffs? Their combined record the year before 10-38. I will bet you $100 the bills do not have a top 5 pick next year.
  19. That is the risk & that is why guys do not like it but what I am saying is that if he signs the tag this year, comes out of it without an injury, he will have pocketed 16 mill for 2yrs & will still get the big contract next year with 15-20 mill guaranteed.
  20. Most guys are not & that is why most guys put up a stink with the franchise tag. But if you do get out of the 2yrs injury free & are still playing at a high level you would make more money playing under the tag 2yrs then hitting a nice fa contract.
  21. If I was the bills also, I would give it a hard look into franchising Greer. If nothing else, we could probably get a 2nd rnd pick for him from some other team. Good young Cbs are really at a premium these days.
  22. Is getting franchised 2 years in a row really that bad though? You get franchised the 1st year, you make crazy money. Take Dansby. I think he made 7 million last year. Now they are franchising him again with a 20% increase he is going to make 9 million this year. I know you do not get the big contract but alot of those contracts are back loaded anyways with money players will never see. Dansby being franchised(if he plays it out this year) could of done alot worse then making 16 mill for 2 years of service. Then next year he could on the open market & still get his big signing bonus. Always a risk of an injury, but other then that I really do not see that much of a down side of being franchised 2yrs in a row. If anything, Dansby has a good year this year & hits the open market next offseason I would venture to say he is probably when all is said & done going to make more being franchised for 2yrs(then signing a FA contract) then he would if he hit the open market in 08/09. Sean Alexander was in the same situation. I think they franchised him for 3 years. I think he made in those 3 years a little over 20 milll. Not bad & probably made the same as he would made with a long term free agent contract.
  23. Big difference. Kelly's teams were actually you know successful on the field. it is just the way society thinks. Fans are willing to overlook these types of things when their team is actually winning games. I am not saying it is right, just the way it is. I think point #1 & point #4 Thurman Thomas was actually accused of not Kelly. I was 12 years old Kelly's first season & I seen him at the Mall the monday after a loss. I went up to him, said "nice game Mr. kelly, do you mind if you sign this poster I just bought?" He shook my hand, said "thanks kid I appreciate that" patted me on the back & signed the poster. That is the only personal experience I had with Kelly & it was a positive one. He is still my favorite player of all time.
  24. I could care less too. But with that being said the media is just doing their job. They are paid to make a story out of this & get the most mileage out of this. BTW, that is an awesome avatar. Jaws was one of my favorite movies of all time.
