After 2 games in which they beat the worst team in the league & a team that did not have their starting qb all of a sudden the Saints are world beaters? I believe they missed the playoffs too last year. Their defense & special teams could be exploited. Need to score some points & get TDS because FGs are not going to get it done this week. Winnable game though, if we could get a break or two. The Ralph should be rocking again this week which should make it at difficult for Brees. I think we could get it done.

Yep, horrible coached game by the phins in the last 5 minutes. They needed 7 there or at the very least melt the clock down which 2 first downs would of done it. Give Manning that kind of time & he will kill you everytime. Then for some reason they took there sweet old time on that last drive. Was going to take the colts tonight but laid off because it seemed like a suckers bet. Pennington is what he is & he does not scare me at all. With a trip to SD, phins are starring 0-3 right in the face.

& those cities outside of nashville are all top notch cities. Go to any other NFL city not mentioned above & I bet there sunday night bar scene is pretty dead also. Your better off hitting the bar scene hard friday & saturday night where the chip strip & Elmwood will be rocking & then just to go to a sports bar sunday night to watch the 8:30 game. Relax, get a few pitchers, get some wings & put some money on the 8:00 game. Sounds to me like a perfect ending to a fun weekend.

I do not know what you are expecting. It is a friggin sunday night, & before you start making fun of buffalo's bar scene/night life, my guess is if you go to 99% of cities bar districts on sunday nights, they are probably dead also.

If it is girls you are looking for just go to any dive down Southwestern. There you should be able to fine the finest heffers this city has to offer. They usually go around a deuce/deuce & 1/2 but it is all good when you got the beer goggles on right. Then he comes out openly says I do not want anybody arrested for this. I could almost see pressing charges if it was some middle age 35 year old who did this. These kids are just in high school & probably hit dad's liquor cabinet too hard that night & thought it would be funny. It is ironic but I do not remember the public outcries for that lady that Lynch ran down on the chip strip. F*ck Mckelvin, I just lost what little respect I had for him. & if you think these kids should be punished to the full extent of the law then by the same token Lynch should of been suspended for the whole season, not just three games for his actions were 100xs worse then what these 16 year old kids did.

Some of my friends back when we were in college used to urinate in the stands. We used to sit in tunnel side of the endzone. This was back the early 90's. Funny thing is, noone seemed to really mind. Now if you look at a person with an opposing jersey cross eyed security escorts you out. The stadium has gone soft.

Guaranteed the zebras would of called a penalty if we tried it. That pick play was so f*cking obvious the refs could of called that from the parking lot. The golden boy & belicheat have been running that for years & never seem to get flagged for it. Every other team gets flagged for it though.

Okay another 5 for thursday. Pick of the week - Bowling Green minus 3 over marshall - Marshall is a bad team that got beat up pretty good last week. BG looked good in a win against Troy in the opener & gave Missouri all they could handle in Columbus. BG 31 - marshall 14 Northwestern minus 3 over Syracuse - Hate to go against Syracuse but this is a talentless team & it is only going to get worse this year. I do not understand the point of bringing in Paulus for one year. Northwestern 35 - Cuse 17 Boston College + 6.5 over Clemson - Always scary to go into Death valley but I will take the points in this historically close rivalry. BC 24 - Clemson 21 Middle Tenn +6.5 over Maryland - There is no two ways to describe this. In the ACC, both Maryland & Virginia are bad, really bad. I am going against them every week until they prove me wrong. Troy -6.5 over UAB - Home opener for an athletic Troy team that should give them a boost. Playing a team like UAB should also give them a boost. They could not even beat SMU last week at home.

I took State to last thursday. I thought the qb was going to be better but you could see that SC had the better athletes. Tough to beat SEC team speed on defense.

As alot of you know, I like wagering money on games. I have decided throughout the college football season to put up my five best bets every thursday. Do with them as you see fit. 1.) UNC minus 4 over Uconn - Uconn has lost some serious offensive talent from last year & went into Athens last week & barely beat a below average MAC team in Ohio. I like UNC to win the wide open ACC this year. UNC 27 - Uconn 10 2.) Texas minus 33 over Wyoming - Wyoming is a bad football team. This is listed as an away game for Texas but is actually being played in Dallas I believe. This should be no contest. Texas 59 - Wyoming 10 3.) UAB minus 11 over SMU - June Jones should of stayed on the big island. SMU mught be the worst division one team in the country. After a couple tough years, UAB is on their way back. Do not be surprised if they make a bowl this year. UAB 35- Ponies 7 4.) LSU minus 14 over Vanderbilt - Vanderbilt may not win a conference game all season. LSU got the kinks out last week in a tough atmosphere at Huskie Stadium. This one will be over by half time. LSU 49-14 The last game is not for the meek or timid. It takes us out to the horseshoe for a saturday night game in Columbus. This game has got national implications & most of the nation should be watching. OSU wins this & it will instantly give credibility to a program that has been ridiculed over the last few years for showing up in the big game. As usual USC is as talented as anybody. Their freshman qb played well last week but this week will be a totally different animal. Night game in Columbus does not get anymore intimidating then that. Barkley will show his inexperience & the difference will be Pryor. Tight game but I see OSU coming out on top - 17-14. Ohio State is plus 7.

LOL,Been on vacation for the last week & half so I have not been on here too much but I will take my crow with a little pepper. Took a pretty good beating saturday, did not play UTEP, basically because I forgot to call it in before the game started. Took some real winners on saturday, Nevada(+15), Oklahoma(-22) western michigan, minnesota. Oh well in the gaming business you have weeks like this. Good for UB, taking my son to the Pitt game saturday, really looking forward to it. Nice to see at least one football program in this town looking like they know what they are doing. & for you guys wanting to go against me, I will put up my picks up every friday(at least some of them). Hey, at least if I can not make money, hopefully some of you guys could profit off my lousy handicapping.

You know I was on Fl St all week until I read that that their defense is not going to be very good this year & the offense is going to have to carry them. I always associate FSU with having a good defense but an inept offense(at least recently). Took Miami + the 5.5 pts. I also was surprised to hear they had trouble selling this game out. These games used to be the biggest games of the year for both schools. Anyways, great game, both teams look like they are on their way back although I think FSU really needs to get rid of Bowden somehow to take that next step forward. I just do not know what purpose he really serves anymore. Not a great pass by Ponder at the end but it was catchable & should of been caught. I was surprised they did not put the 1 second back on the clock but then I just figured it was 4th down. If it was only 3rd down that is a pretty big error. FSU could not botch the playclock more in the last minute. Thought they should of called Ponder's number on the last play with a qb draw ala J Kelly 1989 against Miami in the season opener. Everybody in the stadium thought they were going to pass, I thought it may catch them by surprise. Sellout or no sellout, thought the stadium was rocking most of the night & looked like a great atmosphere out there. Ramius, hopefully you got to go to this one because it was an instant classic. This one is going to sting but they should rebound, the talent is there. Calling it now, FSU goes into Provo in a few weeks & beats BYU.
