  1. They said the same things about Aaron Curry and Rolando McClain too. The great hype machine that is ESPN is an amazing tool....
  2. Actually they hold the #7 pick since Tennessee won last night (at least according to Joe Buscaglia)....either way, Smith.
  3. ...it seems you forgot that players move up through the minor leagues? I mean, Toronto DID have a top notch farm system with a lot of promising young players before that blockbuster deal. They still have a chance to supply a pretty good team to Buffalo though. Even with the trade, they still have more AA/AAA talent than the Mets had.
  4. Bradham has shown some potential. The problem is in a defense like this, your SLB should NOT be your best LB. They desperately need someone to play MLB and replace Barnett at WLB. Barnett and George Wilson have really, really hit the "age wall" this season, IMO. My dream fix for the D: 1) inquire with Carolina about Jon Beason's availability. 2) Sign a veteran CB to play outside, someone like Brent Grimes. 3) Switch Aaron Williams to S. Let him compete with Searcy, loser is primary backup at both FS and SS 4) Sign or draft someone to play WLB. The amount of strong LB's the Bills have missed out on is painful. I remember last year, there were a fair amount of posters here who were high on both Lavonte David and Bobby Wagner, myself included. Well, fellow TBD'ers, we were right.
  5. No, I believe Ron Brooks did and he was struggling so bad they pulled him mid-series for Williams
  6. We should all show some class and stop judging a man and an organization when we have no personal ties to the deceased. Jerry Brown's family...they get it. Not to bring religion to a football board, but what they did is the most truly Christian thing you could do . In a moment of devastating loss and heartbreak, they forgave the man who killed their family member. They realize that he is not completely at fault; yes, he drove highly intoxicated. But he didn't force his best friend into the car, he got in as a willing passenger. Jay Brent in his own hell already. He killed his best friend. Everyone in America knows his name for the wrong reason. Everyone is judging him. His career is over. He's going to do a few years of hard time for the mistake he made. That is enough for Jerry Brown's family, and therefore, it should be for everyone else too.
  7. Bruce Arians, Jay Gruden, Mike McCoy or Mike Zimmer, in that order Who would the interim even be? It would have to be Wannstache right? Since there is no real OC. Screw it, let Chan play out the string in that case. Sad to say it, but they got it wrong last time around. The next Bills head coach WAS RIGHT HERE and was interim for 6 games. They let Fewell walk, and he's never coming back.
  8. Half the posts in here are about GM related moves. Sober up and try again. I will say when he benched Stevie last year with a chance to go 2-0 against NE and instead they took a firm prison style cornhole pounding for 30 minutes and lost a demoralizing game.
  9. If anything changes, I would be very, very surprised.
  10. TBD and WGR will be a g.d. GOLDMINE for the next 36 hours
  11. Don't worry, they will lose. No one gets out of the Big East unscathed. IIRC, they have a very tough 5 or 6 game stretch to close out the season. Something like Lousiville twice, Georgetown, Villanova and others I cant remember.
  12. I would definitely like to see them show some interest in Beason.
  13. About 13 mil i believe
  14. I wasn't aware that "type of offense" was considered by Heisman voters. Here I thought it was based on the most outstanding season. Silly me thinking logically on the Internet again.....
  15. It might just be me (I have a feeling it isn't though) but I believe TJ Graham has already shown the ability to be a deep threat a la Mike Wallace or Percy Harvin. How many times has he been wide open 30 yards down field and Fitz has missed the throw? Its got to be close to once or twice a game, and then Chan tucks that play away and doesn't use it again because his QB cant execute it.
  16. Obligatory post: He knows Chan's offense from Chan's time with the Chiefs
  17. Yeah these guys got it. The MIA/JAX areas are getting that lovely matchup at 1 on CBS. TB also plays at 1, which leaves the Fox affiliates to choose the best of the 3 turds
  18. Clowney's a sophomore. And even if he were draft eligible, he would still be long gone before the Bills were on the clock.
  19. He will likely be an early round pick for a team without a lot of holes who can afford to let him heal if you ask me
  20. I don't recall if I mentioned it in my original post, but you would assume the Bills scouts already had some notes on him from scouting Graham last season. Graham has shown that he CAN get behind opposing secondaries, and if you use a little bit of logic, SOMEONE had to be hitting those deep throws to him last year that got Graham drafted, right? One month later, and I am high on both Glennon and Nassib as 2nd-4th round prospects like I was on Cousins and Wilson last year.
  21. And cue the unmitigated hate by people who don't know the scale to judge a rookie DB on in 5...4...3...2....1 Let me sum up the naysayers before they even get here: HE GETS PENALIZED HE GETS BEAT SOMETIMES HE HAS DREADLOCKS HE WAS A FIRST ROUND CB
  22. We don't really know enough about Whaley to make that call do we? However another yes man would continue the post Donahoe pattern.
  23. Good post right here. Belichick actually does love versatility. He's got guys like Danny Woodhead who at one point was considered a WR/RB as well as WR/PR Julian Edelman who was also a college QB and I would assume is their emergency QB
